If that were an option on KOTOR 2? Yes, and I'd feed him to Mira.

  6. Can someone validate this link for me? What I'm thinking is you can have everyone except the droids (and maybe the abominable carpet) become force friendly (Jedi/Sith.) http://www.lucasforums.com/showthread.php?t=153012 (What I'm asking about is the second post from Achilles about the X>90% or x<10% stuff.) If this is true, then a way around one of the npc's being killed, is keep the 5%-15% influenced character leveled while keeping the higher influenced character relatively un-leveled.
  7. I think the best thing to do, since each character has a certain amount of influence, make the decision based off that influence number. For example, if Visas' influence number is 95% and Brianna's is 5% to 15% then Visas would kill her. Pretty much because no time was spent between the main character and Brianna. The player either hated Brianna, or just didn't explore the interactions possible with Brianna. The reasoning for this kind of action, would simply be related to the main character. I know that if I were Visas, I wouldn't want to kill someone that my master had developed a 90% influence with, from fear of upsetting him and possibly sealing my own fate. And I think the open ended game play would be soooo much better. I can't recall how many times I've beaten a game and thought to myself..........well............that's it.....
  8. Did you ever find the TSL discs?

  9. Actually when I saw all of the missing content from KOTOR 2, I was thinking to myself "I should have bought the first one instead......" And for a long time that thought stayed at the back of my head as I progressed, at level 50, to Dantooine. Then I luckily discovered what was being done in order to restore it. I'm partial to the first, but what separates the two of them, is the fact that KOTOR 2's fanbase was willing to go tremendous lengths to give people what was once there. The Sith Lords is a game that's spiritually satisfying to me, because people that I still do not know fully, came together to produce an addition for the entire world of Star Wars and honestly, the world. I guess I could summarize what I'm thinking by saying, despite a "cut and run" performance by Lucas Arts, The Sith Lords is satisfying on more than just a consumer level. (Yes, I did abuse the hsiss glitch. But in all honesty, if Lucas Arts knew about it and still didn't fix it with a patch, then perhaps they wanted people to reach the level cap.)
  10. I don't know, the whole series just feels fishy to me. Beating a game in less than a day is not something I want to do. If they made TFU3 into a true RPG and integrated some Resident Evil 4 death sequences into it, I'd play the hell outta it, and die just to see most of the death scenes. Having a color grid to pick your own saber colors would be a nice touch too.
  11. I'm just wondering if anyone is writing/typing some sort of game guide for all the restored content. I don't believe it needs to be anything like a real strategy guide, but something that advises people of the "flow" of the game, I guess you could say. I'm almost certain I'm going to be "lost in the sauce" with some of this stuff. I guess what I'm looking for is something that explains from beginning to end, the story, without any spoilers like "choose this dialog option to have a darkside/influence increase reaction with Atton." I think we can all assume what would make us angry if we were that character. Well....for the most part at least. : / Anyway, I appreciate what you guys are doing with this site and the projects, but I can honestly tell you that a guide is not something I'd NEED in order to play the game. It's just one of those "furthering satisfaction" things. : )
  12. I like using VLC (just google those three letters.) It's a media player that has every codec known to man lol.
  13. I suppose the purpose for this topic would be to get to know each other outside of gaming in general. Starting things out is always rough, but I'm currently living in Kentucky.........yes......Kentucky. I was born and raised in the sticks of East Bernstadt. I graduated high school and a week later questioned why I had went to U.S.M.C.R.D (Marine Corps Recruit Depot.) Four seemingly unending years later, I'm back in East Bernstadt enjoying my life. I've always been partial to games and the people that play them. Other than that I wouldn't really know what else to talk about, I guess that's why the intro folder was made : ) If you have questions just ask.

Yeah. They really should make a game of all the things he did that you can unlock in K1.

  15. You were right about being immediately able to tell if it was successful, even the launcher looks professional. All I had to do was uninstall it and reinstall. For some reason it didn't select the right destination automatically, but the second time worked for me.
