Hi VarsityPuppet, Thx very much for your new Peragus Tweak! It great and makes the start of the game more likeable, and not to skip it right away Correct me if I’m wrong but this new version only works with TSLRCM installed and not on the Vanilla version (I tested it on a not moded version of the game -> wont work, to many errors and warning, I guess there are files missing...) So the original version of your mod is for Vanilla version of the Game and v1.2 for TSLRCM 1.7 mod right? (Just for my mods collection to put them in the right folders... TSLRCM compatible: yes or no)

Question about Mods with no Installer
Spawnkiller replied to Spawnkiller's topic in General Kotor/TSL Modding
Hi MrPhil, thx for your answer. Well it's not a question of releasing other once mods or properties, that won’t be nice or tolerated and is not what my question was about Question was should I enhance a old Mod Manager Tool (release under GLP so I’m able and allowed to as long I don’t violate the GPL and respect the original author), or contact him to ask if he wants to do it him self. Or maybe someone knows a better tool for managing Mods with no installer. I guess this is more interesting for KotoR than for TSL users because most of the old Mods for KotoR have no installer (the Manager can handle both KotoR Games). btw I already played around with the PERL script, only very simple things… right now the Manager knows new extensions like .bik and .mp3. I want to implement multiple file selection, but it looks like that needs much more programming skill than I can provide now. I guess have to learn how to PERL and refresh my little knowledge of C before I can do that. greetings Spawnkiller -
Hi TSLRCM Team, thank you very much for this Mod, it realy helps this great crippled game to make better sense and become more polished. I have a question about if it’s restored by TSLRCM 1.7 or not: @zbyl2: You made a small mod about GOTO's Yacht back in 2008: http://knightsoftheoldrepublic.filefront.com/file/G0T0s_Yach_Restoration;91313 DESCRIPTION: This mod restoring few thing on G0T0s Yacht. Content Restored in my mod: 1. After conversation beetwen Jedi Exile and Goto, your party member must fight with HK-50 droid. 2. Few new line in dialog with Twin Sun. Only if you have Atton as Party Member on Yacht. 3. Goto activate self-destrouct sequence. 4. New Zhug Brothers on Yacht, you can talking with them. Is this part of the actual TSLRCM 1.7 or not? - And if not: - is it compatible with 1.7? - will it be part of a future release or does it not fit in the TSLRCM concept at all? Sorry if this is already questioned or answered somewhere else around here... I didn't find any info about it (not in the this is restored thread nor in the readme of TSLRCM 1.7) With best regards Spawnkiller Edit: UPS found it sorry... [R] Time to abandon ship! - When the Bounty Hunters appear on Goto's vessel, Goto makes note of them and says it's time for him to take his leave. Also, HK-50s were supposed to be among the bounty hunters there. As well as more Zhug brothers (where the PC can gloat about killing them on Dxun) not sure it was part of it but it sound like: [NR - Lord of Hunger's patch] Genoharadan are none of the bounty hunters' concern - One of the Zhug brothers will mention that the Genoharadan are also after the Exile during their meeting with Goto, and so Goto commands them to ignore them and says that they aren't of any concern. thx anyway Spawnkiller

I’m not a programmer or scripter but I know some basics about programming languages. So I’m asking your council about an idea of mine: 1. As there are many old Mods out there for both KotoR and TSL without any installer, I wonder if it’s a good idea to poke around the perl script of KotoR Mod Manager 0.4 to enhance it a little bit. (It doesn’t know about .bik and .mp3 files and the right directories for them) 2. Or to get familiar with the TSL patcher and write a proper installer for each of the old mods (not a very pleasant thought… work like hell I guess). For example the Mod Compatibility-List for TSLRCM 1.7 is full of Mods with no installer. As I have no experience with PERL or the TSL Patcher it doesn’t matter which way to go have to learn it form the start. 3. Also maybe I’ll could try to contact the original author of KMM 0.4 1st and ask him to enhance the tool (maybe the best idea anyway). With best regards Spawnkiller

Hi VarsityPuppet! Thx again for your mods. I’m new to your and the TSLRCM mod but very old to other Kotor and TSL mods I have some Questions about your mods: 1st Kreias Green fix: As I use very much (maybe too much) mods at the same time. To keep track of the active Mods I use the KotoR Mod Manager 0.4. (I know it's a very old tool, but I don’t know any better for mods with no TSL Patcher). When I try to install this mod of yours it tells me that the files p_kreia1hbb.mdl and p_kreia1hbb.mdx already exist. So I'm curious if the TSLRCM 1.7 mod already uses these files... if so a proper installer would be great to avoid any conflicts and be able to uninstall it properly if wanted. 2nd right now I’m not able to download Kreias Green fix: Bulletin says something like: “vBulletin Message Your submission could not be processed because a security token was invalid. If this occurred unexpectedly, please inform the administrator and describe the action you performed before you received this error.” (HandSister Fix works for me, as I downloaded Kreias fix a week ago it’s not a big problem for me but others who might want it won’t be able to get it.) Edit: this is only true for the direct download link on this thread. Download works properly form the Download section With best regards Spawnkiller
