  1. Thanks a lot for that extensive reply !

    I might pass on Armored Robes now that I know what it replaces. The description made it unclear to me what the mod actually does. So if I leave that mod ou,t I can use the other robe mods, right ? I just did a quick test by extracting the files from the Prequel Robes, Movie Robes and Jedi Armor into the same folder to see if they replace the same files and I got no overwrite messages.

    Yes, I would too. I tried using some of the robes that Armored Robes adds and I found it glitches some of the robes.

    I basically took the vest texture and cut pieces off then pasted them onto the Toydarian to create makeshift "clothes". If you would like, I can send you the .tga via PM.

  3. Some more tweaks will be done of course to perfect these robes, can't wait to get the mod finished!! Dont know how I have been here for over 4 years and still not finished a mod ahah!

    Yeah I've been here for two years, working on my modding skills. Perhaps by next year, I'll have a mod up.


  4. Yeah, that version of the Sith Lord's Robes are a bit dark, I have changed up and pretty much finalized the Sith Lord's Robes and the Jedi Weapon Master's Robes now! And yes I will be sticking with the "Jedi Master Robe" template for the Sith Lord's Robes because I am not experienced enough to change it yet :(

    Hmm... I think the Sith Lord robes look ok, just the robe seems to dark in some areas. Are you going to stick with the 'Jedi Master Robe' template for this or are you going to change it?


  6. The Marauder's blade is black?It looks a bit more like a glowing vibroblade, similar to the star wars clone wars blade wielded by Pre Vizsla.

    It doesn't feel like lightsaber, but that's just my two cents. My suggestion would be to make it dark red and have darker red at the core. 

    I have a few ideas for the names...

     

    Sith Lord - "Sorcerer's crystal"  ;  "Insidious Crystal" a tribute to the first force lightning Sith Lord, Darth Sidious. ; "Calamity Crystal"

     

    Sith Assasin -     "Shadow Crystal"       "Spectre Crystal"  "Penumbra(n) Crystal"         "Sutle Crystal"  "Raven's Crystal"  "Serpentinian Crystal"

     

    Jedi Watchman - "Spectre Crystal"  "Watcher Crystal"  "Protectorate Crystal"  "Eagle Crystal"  

     

    I'm looking forward to this mod coming out, keep up the good work! 

    In SW:TOR some lightsaber crystals are black.

    Yeah this website is kind of a hassle. Oh and you'll notice the 'scout' and 'scoundrel' class have different skins as well.

I don’t think that is possible in the game engine, but it could be an area mod if the EH location mesh was edited and a trophy added to the wall, but I am not sure how that would work since I think it references the same model every time inside the ship - unless a second one could be forced. But yeah a rancor head trophy in the ship is a cool idea, but not very practical when someone is trying to escape a planet being destroyed by the Sith.I vote for a rancor robe... or rancor armor. That seems more plausible.Now the Krayt dragon head in the center of the cargo hold would be kind of cool, maybe as a skull.As far as rancor claw or rancor tooth melee weapons, that is another good one. I think a set of razor claws as melee weapons would be more fitting for a rancor trophy than a tooth knife, and more useful. I still like the lightsaber hilt made from a tooth, one of the really big ones.But to set all that up you almost need a vendor that has been hacked to make them a sort of go between where you can sell them the stuff and then buy back the products made from the trophies. That is the only way I can think of doing it where you can sell them the leather and then the armor or robe is in the inventory for sale, or the teeth and claws are sold to the vendor and the appropriate weapon and saber hilts are there for sale after that. Then upgrades or saber building can be done at the workbench.Rancor claws like this and they could be dual wield items - and a saber hilt like this. Both can be "crafted" on Tatooine. And the rancor armor or robes cold be as well but that is a simple reskin. would not want to wear them in the hot Tatooine sun though.

     

    What would the Rancor armour look like? Brown? Hint of black? Could it have a Rancor insignia?


    You guys have got to stop giving me ideas. :D

     

    I was just thinking, what if you fashioned the Krayt Dragon skull into an "upgrade" for your swoop bike. Like, the skull on the front and claws on the sides, or something along those lines?...


    Yes! Claws could be at the front! But how would be achieved? An added swoop mechanic somewhere in the game (preferably Tatooine or Manaan)?

     

    Could a rancor helmet/mask (not bobblehead, something more... human sized) be added as well?


  9. yes, and that sounds like a good mask mod idea! i think this will be the only true bobble head mod for Kotor. or how about a rancor head necklace? solve that one in the game engine :P :thumbsup: :2guns:

     

    anyway for a rancor head mask, which one would you prefer? number 1 or number 2? (and yes i mean mounted on a plaque)

    Oh! How about that trophy that Calo has is able to be taken? Then it could be able to be put on the Ebon Hawk! And also if the Rancor in the sewers has actual remains, and you can take the head, there should be a guy who can make into a mask! A mini-quest!

  10. I actually would have preferred that the bodies was not destructible at all.

     

    But if you really want to make destructible then at least let that have a meaning...

     

    For the Dragon, it would be appropriate to find the Krayt Pearls in there, I guess...

     

    For the Rancor instead, I cannot think of anything at the moment...

    Rancor head trophy. Has to be. Like Calo Nord's trophy. Or maybe a tooth.
