  1. I'm convinced it was a bug resulting from having Atton talk to the race NPC instead of having the player character do it. Mods: May as well lock the thread since I think the problem is solved. Thanks.
  2. Not being able to free the ithorian is ridiculous. You can hack the TSF comm console while Lt. Grenn is standing right in front of it, and the vivarium control console while an ithorian is right next to it, so it's completely inconsistent that you can't do the same to the one in Slusk's office while he's on the other side of the room!
  3. I think I made it pretty clear that I was only trying that out of desperation, and that my main intent is to stick with the stock .exe, so please don't get hung up on that.
  4. Here's my quicksave if anyone is interested. Just talk to the Twi'lek and ask for a practice or real race, and get a winning time. Update: Happens with 2.1.0.0 nocd as well (as opposed to 2.2.0.0 Steam), and I get a bonus bug of being stuck in the air sometimes. I did find something, however: it seems that I was using Atton to start the race instead of hte player character. When I used the PC instead, there was no crash. Could it be that simple? I know it at least makes a difference for the persuasion check to skip the entry fee. 000000 - QUICKSAVE.7z
  5. No, I decided not to go that route because it involves downgrading the game .exe version, so I'm using the stock Steam kotor2.exe. Given that nobody else seems to have this problem, though, maybe it will actually help.
  6. I've installed TSLRCM 1.8.3 + M4-78EP + "small patch" on the Steam version of KOTOR2 and have just reached the first swoop race on Telos. Whenever I finish either a practice or real race with a winning time, the game will crash with the loading bar almost full just after the swoop race ends. Any idea what the deal is or what I may be able to do about it (other than skipping the swoop racing of course)?
