  1. Thanks DP! But now when I interrupt him and talk to him, he just stands there. How can I make him continue with his walk after that? To clarify a bit, I'm trying to set up this Echani merc to be the same as the merc (man26_merc2) in M26AB talking to the Sith Negotiator, so that you can talk to him and interrupt him at any time before he disappears.

    Sorry for the newb questions, scripts were never my forte. 


  2. Hey everyone!

    I have a couple of questions regarding a particular script:

    1. What script is used by the Echani Mercenary on Manaan (man26_echmerc002.utc) talking with the Republic Negotiator that makes him leave at the end of their conversation?

    2. Can that script be edited so that he can be interacted with after he leaves? Because in vanilla he can't be clicked on/talked to when he leaves.

  3. It's just for a personal project. I plan to use the AdminOff and Corrun Falt retex as replacements for Nurik Sandral and Ahlan Matale, for which I couldn't find unique heads that would suit them for a long long time. I've been using the heads from SpaceAlex's K1 Enhancement Pack, but they didn't quite fit the bill.

    PMHB07 I planned to use for Gandroff on Tatooine, but after seeing the retex, I think I'll use it for a more important NPC, it's just too good to waste on ol' Gandroff 😁 Maybe admiral Cede from TSL.

    Well I took some time to look around a bit and found the heads I'd like retextured, if you're up to it:
    - Peragus Administration Officer
    - PMHB07
    - Corrun Falt


  5. Well, I extracted the .mdl and .mdx files using Kotortool, load the .mdl in MDLedit and just change it by clicking the KOTOR1/KOTOR2 button, then save it. Like I said, I'm not very good at these things, and I couldn't find a step by step tutorial anywhere.


  6. Not sure if this qualifies as a bug, but every time I try converting heads from TSL to Kotor and vice versa, the head has no animations in game.

    Can someone maybe tell me if I'm doing something wrong? I'm not very skilled in these things 😁


  7. Sorry for the thread necro, but I'm interested in the same thing. If anyone knows where I can find a mod for TSL that does the same thing as j7's Character Start Up Change for Kotor you would make me a happy man indeed. :)

     

    Or, as waffleiron10 said, if somebody is willing to show me what to edit in the .2da's so I can make one myself, I'd really appreciate it.  


  8. Just a quick hint, your K1 Korriban and Dantooine skyboxes can be used in TSL.

     

    All you need to do is rename them, like so:

     

    LKO_sky01.tga  -->  KOR_sky01.tga
    LKO_sky02.tga  -->  KOR_sky02.tga
    LKO_sky03.tga  -->  KOR_sky03.tga
    LKO_sky04.tga  -->  KOR_sky04.tga
    LKO_sky05.tga  -->  KOR_sky05.tga

     

    LDA_sky0001.tga  -->  DAN_sky4.tga
    LDA_sky0002.tga  -->  DAN_sky3.tga
    LDA_sky0003.tga  -->  DAN_sky2.tga
    LDA_sky0004.tga  -->  DAN_sky1.tga
    LDA_sky0005.tga  -->  DAN_sky5.tga

     

    And, obviously, use the Dantooine green grass version. :)
