KOTOR 2 editable exe

Hello all, I created this account to try get some help with trying to patch kotor 2 using uniws so I could use a steam program I bought which forces it into borderless I got it working great for the KOTOR but seem to be having issue with kotor 2 because the exe I downloaded from this site has some sort of error everytime I try run it from the folder and the game doesn't load at all when ran through steam any ideas?

You're using the Aspyr update for TSL. That's not compatible with the old exe. You'll need to switch to the "legacypc" version under the Betas tab. Right click on the game in the Library list -> Properties -> Betas, select legacypc from the drop-down menu. This will involve redownloading some of the game assets, so any mods you already installed will be nuked. If you have installed any mods, you'll want to delete your Override and Modules folders, then from the Properties menu go to Local Files -> Verify integrity of game files. After all that is finished, you can replace the exe with the WS patched one.

That said, the Aspyr version should have native widescreen support anyway, so patching the exe is unnecessary. But the Aspyr version is full of bugs so it's not worth using unless you absolutely must have achievements and/or controller support.

thanks for the advice I tried as you suggested though honestly that borderless gaming program I'm trying to use that I bought in steam doesn't seem to work like it does in KOTOR a shame really having multiple monitors I like to jump between them but it seems to just go crazy trying to have it go borderless as my screen goes into game and out constantly is there some other way to force borderless for kotor 2?

Edit: Could a mod please lock or delete my thread I've fixed it by removing fullscreen=1 in the ini settings to allowwindowmode=1 something like that and my program I bought in steam forces it into borderless perfectly and thanks for the help!
