verb8im 2 Posted August 20, 2020 I'm playing TSLRCM with M4-78EP and I'm on Nar Shaddaa. I just killed the Red Eclipse and once that cutscene ends it should start another one with Visas appearing and fighting me. Because the cutscene doesn't trigger, the end portion of nar shaddaa doesn't trigger, and i can't leave the ship or use the galaxy map. The only additional mods im using from my Playthrough a few months ago is recruitable Master Atris, coruscant jedi temple with the m478 compatibility, improved exiles armband, and cathalan. I can't see any of those messing with the visas trigger though. I did have to do TSLRCM and M478 on the steam workshop, since the downloads from here didn't work. I never had this problem last time i played so I figured it has to be the few new mods I installed since last time but I can't figure out what, or why. I'm using the steam version of kotor 2. AmanoJyaku 183 Posted August 20, 2020 @verb8im I don't think it has anything to do with Visas, I ran into this problem before. Have you visited all areas of Nar Shaddaa, spoken with everyone with a name, completed their quests, and spoken with the Chadra-Fan named Kaalah-Nah outside of the Pazaak Den to confirm the Exchange loves or hates you? It's also possible you hit a bug, but it's likely just that you missed a trigger.
verb8im 2 Posted August 20, 2020 No I'm pretty sure its visas. She isn't spawning when she's supposed to. Like I said, her encounter is trying to fire, but doesn't, so I can move around the ship, talk to people, I just can't leave. If the red eclipse spawns, I'm pretty sure thats the indicator that the exchange is going to contact you
AmanoJyaku 183 Posted August 20, 2020 @verb8im If you can't leave, then it's not Visas. You may have encountered the bug that thinks you're still fighting the Red Eclipse. Use KoTOR Save Editor to open your saved game, navigate to the Global Numbers, and look for "003_IN_COMBAT". If it's set to 1, set it to 0 then load the game. verb8im 2 Posted August 20, 2020 Ok, so that worked. But now, ironically, I can't get visas to spawn. In kse, before I board the ebon hawk to fight the red eclipse, it shows in the booleans visas_arrives_conv set to 0, then after the fight, when im fixing the in combat variable, it shows it as 1. I'm assuming that means its trying to fire, but its not
AmanoJyaku 183 Posted August 21, 2020 Exit the ship, then return. If she doesn't spawn, then you have to wait until you finish G0-T0's yacht. The boolean visas_arrives_conv being set to 1 just means Visas will become available at the next opportunity. The problem is that the game locks out events if you're in completing certain story events. It's terrible coding, IMO.
verb8im 2 Posted August 21, 2020 @AmanoJyaku didnt work. I finished nar shaddaa, the first part of dxun and onderon, and just landed on dantooine, and she's still not there. I have no idea whats causing these bugs, since it worked last time. Is there any way to force visas to spawn through kse or something?
AmanoJyaku 183 Posted August 21, 2020 @verb8im Globals->Booleans->003EBO_VISAS_ARRIVES should be set to "Yes". Globals->Booleans->VISAS_ARRIVES_CONV should be set to "No". Globals->Numerics->000_Before_Visas_Trn should be "0". There are other Numerics for Visas, but I don't think you need to check them. If you do, they should all be set to "0". If you still don't get her, then I'm out of ideas. Good luck!
