Guest Zander Posted May 19, 2011 Posted May 19, 2011 I had to format my Games:\ drive and reinstall everything. All went well till TSL. For some reason it has fallen foul of UAC, and I cannot run it directly as the UAC Dodgy Software warning window pops up asking me if I really want to let this piece of software alter my system. Point is, the installation is on a hard drive that is not controlled by UAC, so why is this happening? I've had TSL installed since I built this PC, and never had this problem before. Win 7 Ultimate 64-bit, Intel quadcore 2.4 4GB ram, nvidia 8800GTX 1.25GB vram I know it's a bit long in the tooth, but it's never been a problem before. KoTOR 1, ME1, ME2, DA:O, DA II, Morrowind, Oblivion all installed (and run) with no hassle. Only other thing I've noticed is that DA II says there's a newer version of my video drivers available. Nvidia don't know about it though, as I'm running the latest version according to their UK website an hour ago. Anyone got any ideas? The game does run, just that annoying UAC thinggy. Is it worth going offline, disabling UAC and reinstalling, do you think? Update: Disabled UAC and reinstalled, same result!!! No idea what to try next. Quote

Guest Zander Posted May 20, 2011 Posted May 20, 2011 I've tried giving everyone full control, but that doesn't stop it either. Quote
