Stuck in the Droid factory

I am running through the game on darkside and made it to where HK47 goes to the factory. This was my first time playing through the TSLRCM and I am very much enjoying it but I also don't really know what to expect. So step into the droid factory and start poking around. I go down all three hallways and realize that I need to turn off the power and to do so I need to change HK47's self preservation protocols. But there is no way to do this. I pull the chain and the probe droid comes out. p-1dk. but no dialog ensues. I looked around in the forums for an answer and realized that maybe I was supposed to get some cutscenes with HK50s when i entered. I did not. There were no HK50s' anywhere on the level.

 

My questions are...when you enter what is supposed to happen so I will know where it went wrong? Has anyone had this problem before? Are there specific files that would trigger those things so that I can check them?

I now know two things. 1. I went to the communications wing first and disabled communication. when I went to the power core after it did not put a quest in my log. Looks like I can fix this part via changing the order. However that did not allow me get the dialog with P1-DK. 2. I don't get any cut scenes of the HK50's talking to me or them showing up after I cut off communication. This seems to be the root of the problem. If anyone has any ideas what I could do to fix that I would appreciate it

 

Oh well. Could not figure it out. Maybe I will see it my next play through.

Replying to this thread to potentially help someone else. I found the offending file conflict. I was using a mod called "personal items and more" by JCarter426. It places some items as drops on the HK50 kills so it uses the n_hk50_002.utc file. This conflicts with the TSLRCM and produces no cut scenes upon entering the droid factory. With that file removed it seems to be working fine.

But yeah, you have to be careful when you install mods that add .utc, or .uti files directly to the override. Well, just any .ut_ files in general.
