[Tutorial] Assigning your KotOR Game in registry edit

So I had this Problem, googled a little bit and now i have a solution:

 

I want to present you my method of "adding KotOR Games to Registry edit"

 

1. Make a new text file call it "kotor" for K1 or "kotor2" for TSL.

 

 

2. Open the Notepad 

 

3. Copy Following into your Text file:

 

REGEDIT5

 

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\LucasArts]

 

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\LucasArts\KotOR]

"Path"="D:\\\\Steam\\\\steamapps\\\\common\\\\swkotor"

 

 

5. Make 2 Enter under the text you written , otherwise it won't work.

 

 

6. Save it as "kotor.reg" with "all files" if you choose txt file, then it's a text file

 

 

7. Open the reg, there comes then a warning, click yes, and then you get a information window, that it got added into registry. Now you can mod with Kotor Tool. Have Fun!
