Scripting Question

So I'm wondering if you can modify ingame settings with scripts or if they're detached from that system?

 

So for instance if I wanted to toggle vsync or combat movement with a script which runs on an armband.

 

Is it possible?

Been looking around NWN's Lexicon + nwscript.nss to see if there's anything, nothing so far. Maybe I should be looking at how they do it from the menu...
