Can anyone help me with the widescreen patch insatallation ?

Thanks for your mod, I have recetly finished dead space and i wanted to play KOTOR 2: TSLRC V1.7 now, however i only have a laptop with a 1366 x 768 resolution. Now i read about a widescreen patch and found sme guide on how to apply t but i cannot seem to get it to to work the game always runs in 1024 x 768..... Can anyone help me ?
