Jamoid 0 Posted July 25, 2015 I've tried to use several different mods that add portrait/head choices for the player character. Without TSLRCM they all work fine, but with it they have no effect. I'd link specific mods but it has been the same with all the TSL patcher mods I've tried. I'm using the Steam version of the game with the workshop version of TSLRCM. Any idea what could be going wrong or how to fix it? Sorry if I've missed something!
Bas Qui-Xoi 6 Posted July 25, 2015 What I did was install everything on top TSLRCM and so far everything works for me except for Holowan Duplisaber for some reason that one is giving me fits. What I did: -uninstall everything from the game including any left over folders -reinstall the steam version of the game -subscribe to TSLRCM 1.8.4 on the steam workshop -next I downloaded M4-78 1.2b from here -installed M4-78 pointing the installer to my C:Games\Steam\SteamApps\workshop\content\208580\485537937 -installed all my loose file mods to my C:Games\Steam\SteamApps\workshop\content\208580\485537937\override -I treat the override folder within the TSLRCM workshop as though its the normal game override folder -next I installed all of the tslpatcher mods pointing the installer again to C;\Games\Steam\SteamApps\workshop\content\208580\485537937 -lastly and sadly I installed Holowan Duplisaber but its not working for me but every other mod, so far, is working as intended. Disclaimer: I've only just left Peragus and am currently on the Ebon Hawk so I can't guarantee there won't be any other issues down the road.

You have to point the tslpatcher to the steam workshop location of TSLRCM, NOT your K2 install location
Jamoid 0 Posted July 25, 2015 Awesome, thank you both. Exactly the information I needed. I did wonder where the Steam workshop stuff was going, since nothing was being added to my override folder. For all Steam's convenience it doesn't half complicate folder structure.

Yw, the thing I like about doing it this way is it leaves the default Kotor 2 folder in a vanilla state so at least if I screw something up I don't have to go and reinstall the game too. Jamoid 0 Posted July 25, 2015 Yeah that's true. I like having everything modified neatly to the side, the old Infinity/Aurora engine game folders could get really messy with modding. Just rather it wasn't in a series of folders with long strings of numbers as titles, hah.
