Request/Help: K1 Robes in K2

I'm very interested in restoring the KotOR 1 style robes into KotOR 2 for continuity purposes. The original Jedi robe assets are still in the K2 game files.

 

I've been using this mod: K1 Jedi Robes in K2 by Darthbdaman, but my game breaks whenever I equip the Zeison Sha Initiate style armors. Basically, this mod would be perfect except for this bug.

 

Are there any alternative mods that do the same thing that anyone can think of or can someone help me out and look into this mod to see what's causing this error? I would appreciate it.

Not sure if a new thread would be needed. thought i'd try here 1st since its on the same lines. I see that the soldier starting clothes for k1 are still in TSL, can I make a quick .uti change to give me this model in game, if so what? or if not is there a mod that does this for me? PMBBL01 is the name of the model i want.
