More Party Members

I expect the answer to this to be a definite no, but thought it was worth asking anyway: is it possible to make it so you can select at least one extra available party member to go exploring? The idea being that I could then have (subject to availablity) one droid, one force user, and one heavy armour wearer as well as myself.

The squad being three choices is hard coded into the game.
