Everytime when I am playing video games on it, it will play normal and then it will lag for a short period and then play as normal again. And this pattern keeps repeating itself. With lag I mean lower FPS. It doens't matter which video game I play or how low the settings are it will happen everytime. It has now even happened to Kotor, so it has crossed the line so to speak Anyway I was looking to get some advice from you guys. My pc is 6 years old so the years are beginning to count. Extreme110 4 Posted April 9, 2012 Dude, we've got essentially the same computer, except mine's a Dell, it has an older graphics card, more HDD space, less RAM, no network card (I use a USB connector) and a slightly better sound card. It's best that you save up and buy an entirely new PC. It's just going to be too much of a hassle to keep upgrading this one without eventually replacing everything. If you can build a PC, then do a custom one, otherwise do your research and find a cheap, yet high performing gaming package. Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Such things usually happen when Windows swaps to HDD. Looks like your HDD have low write speed - this causes lag. Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
