ThatDearGuy Posted February 27, 2012 Posted February 27, 2012 If you put a crystal in a doublebladed lightsabre, its stats will be doubled, right? For example, Pontite (+1-10 Cold, CHA: +2) will do +2-20 Cold dmg and Cha +4? Same case with the <player>'s chrystal right? If a Sith Lord / Jedi Master with double alignment mastery wants to get the best bang out of his sabre(s), she should get a doublebladed lightsabre so she gets TWICE the charisma / wisdom bonuses from the <player>'s chrystal? The thing is, it's been so long since I played KOTOR 2 that I can't remember for sure if this thing with the doublebladed sabres was a KOTOR 1 or KOTOR 2 mechanic. Quote
Hassat Hunter Posted February 27, 2012 Posted February 27, 2012 It's for neither... not sure why you think it was/is... Quote
ThatDearGuy Posted February 27, 2012 Author Posted February 27, 2012 Hm.. I think it was something I read once (on a forum?) about using the dragon pearl in Kotor 1, but I'm not even sure about that anymore. Jedi using 2 sabres at the same time can use twice the crystals. I think I assumed that in the case of a doublebladed sabre that effect was mimicked for each 'side' of the sabre, but with only one set of crystals. Effectively copying them. I just wanted to check and you confirmed for me that I was wrong. You have my thanks. Quote
ThatDearGuy Posted February 27, 2012 Author Posted February 27, 2012 Ho wait, there aren't any bonuses for using force powers while not carrying any weapons are there? I thought that might be the case, since there is a separate feat for deflecting blaster bolts without a lightsabre as well. Quote
Hassat Hunter Posted February 27, 2012 Posted February 27, 2012 Nope either. That power is just for gun/unarmed/melee builds. Very effective before you get a lightsaber too. Not too shabby with even due to the deflection bonus, passive, always present. I always take it for that (too many powers are gained, cluttering up your selection box anyway...) Quote
ThatDearGuy Posted February 28, 2012 Author Posted February 28, 2012 Good point, thanks for that tip. Quote
