Final Fight Not Initiating

Hi y'all! I'm encountering an issue where, walking into the room of the final fight in the core, I am set into an automatic walk with no dialogue. It also allows me to break out of the auto walk by moving at all. Regardless of if I let the auto walk happen or not, no dialogue initiates and the screen temporarily glitches out when I try to speak to them. This prevents (what I assume to be) the final battle from initiating. The TSLRCM readme mentions a, "Restored a previously skipped shot of player approaching [final boss]," which seems to not be working. Is there a known fix for this? Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you!
