It said it installed then I checked the module files and it looks like they are all in there. The menu screen should changed if it works and mine didn't. What am I missing! Please help. Hassat Hunter 571 Posted October 29, 2011 The menu doesn't change, the launcher does. Did the launcher change?
Guest SliverTongue Posted October 30, 2011 The menu doesn't change, the launcher does. Did the launcher change? No the launcher didnt change, but that doesnt matter now becuase i unistalled to reinstall and now my drive cant even read the cd, it read it perfectly the first time, but now i got nothin, autorun doesnt work, the drive knows its kotor 2 but i cant get it to launch the initial setup at all. Might have to do with the fact that i didnt uninstall mod before the game, if thats the case i dont know how to fix that either.
Hassat Hunter 571 Posted October 31, 2011 What happens if you run setup on the disk then??? Uninstalling TSLRCM or not should have no effect on your ability to install TSL
Guest SliverTongue Posted November 1, 2011 What happens if you run setup on the disk then??? Uninstalling TSLRCM or not should have no effect on your ability to install TSL Running the setup from the disk itself doesnt work either. Im about to try it again now. I planned on asking for help on the forums until i got it to work. I really want to play Kotor 2 again with the mod. Ive been through it 3 times without it. Im sure if anybody can help me, it would be you all. Thanx.
Guest Ragnos_maul Posted November 6, 2011 Alright, so I downloaded the installer and ran it, then I try and launch the game and the launcher doesn't change. I look in the file folders for TSL and I see that they are there, but the old launcher with Sion is the one that comes up. I have tried reinstalling the game and adding TSLRCM without ANY other mods active. HELP ME!
Hassat Hunter 571 Posted November 6, 2011 Check the install location. It might have program files twice? If so, remove one to direct it to the proper location (the installer that is).
Guest Ragnos_maul Posted November 6, 2011 Check the install location. It might have program files twice? If so, remove one to direct it to the proper location (the installer that is). I manually went through and set the install location, so I don't think that is what is wrong. I even tried installing to a different folder and adding that to the swkotor2 folder. Files are all there, it just isn't changing anything.
SilverMoon 0 Posted December 6, 2011 Per chance, may i ask where the proper installation file is? I've been trying to get the TSLRCM 1.7 to work for a good several hours (i just recently discovered all of this and I got all excited haha) but its not changing my menu at all. I was wondering if you guys could tell me where the proper installation file was? An also, if you could tell me if the 1.0b patch is necessary because I cant seem to properly download it. It keeps telling me I don't have the proper file or something along those lines. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Hassat Hunter 571 Posted December 6, 2011 For non-US versions, install 1.0a, then 1.0b. As for the installation, it should default to the default. Just make sure it doesn't list "program files" twice. (And the launcher changes, not the main menu)
SilverMoon 0 Posted December 7, 2011 I would like to express my love for you now haha it finally worked. It was, in fact, listing program files twice. I do have another question real quick. Do I need the 1.0b patch? I live in the US and i can't seem to get that one to work and i wondered if it was necessary at all to have? Thank you for the help though! Hassat Hunter 571 Posted December 7, 2011 No, it's advised, not required.
