Hey peeps! new guy here. So I encountered a problem when I first entered the telos polar academy. So after I talked to Atris I started going around the academy to find my party members/explore around and I noticed that the handmaiden sisters are no where to be found. I searched every room possible and I couldn't find them. I did find the handmaiden that becomes your party member in the sparring room. I thought hmm okay this is weird.. so I decided to proceed with the game and gather my party members and get to the ebon hawk and leave.
After I had entered the ebon hawk it showed the cutscene of it taking off and then showed a cutscene of Atris just staring out the window. This lead me being kicked out of the ebon hawk and back into the polar academy. I tried re-entering the ebon hawk and nothing happened. After I tried many times and having the same outcome repeatedly I decided to look up the warp code for the next part of the game that I was supposed to be in. So I did that and everything was fine, I started to progress through the main story. First planet I went to was Nar Shaddaa.. completed that place, Next destination I chose Onderon, of course I land in Dxun first.
I did most of the Dxun quests and lvled up some and remembered that I'm proabably high enough lvl to return to the ship to have the last sparring session with the handmaiden. So I did that and I had enough influence to trigger the dialogue to convert her to a jedi so I turned her into a jedi.. after that the screen loads the background of the telos academy. After it loads the screen just goes black and stays black. I see the cursor and I'm able to go through the menu but still the screen just stays black. So I'm thinking this goes back to the Handmaiden sisters having completely disappeared when I was on telos academy the first time. So I think reason why I had the 1st problem and this black screen problem is because I need the handmaiden sisters right? they need to in the game to trigger cutscenes with them in it and all that.
Now I did some searching on the web and found nothing specific to this issue, the closest thing I could find was a person who had problems seeing the handmaidens models but could see their names hovering and found out they had a incompatible mod so that was resolved. I however do not have any incompatible mods (made sure looking through the compatible mods list) before I installed TSLRCM 1.8 I had the 1.0b patch installed which I'm pretty sure was the one that was supposed to be installed before installing the TSLRCM mod according to the installation instructions.
So I guess what my question is does has anyone here encountered this similar problem/know how to fix the handmaiden sisters being gone? Sorry for the long post, I thought I'd give the details up to the black screen moment if it helps any. Thanks for reading! Oh and 1.8 has been my first experience with the TSLRCM, I'm assuming it installed correctly cause I have that new launcher image background and noticed some of the new content through my playthrough.
