Guys I just want to say thanks a lot for the comments and in this case, installing the omega drivers works. I can now see my male models on the setup screen.

When I launch the launcher.exe, then Configure and do a Scan Hardware on the menu, it tells me that my "newer" Radeon X1600 doesn't work with Kotor II. It's nuts I thought to myself, well this might work anyway. I can enter the game, create the character but no model shows up in the character screen. I can create it anyway, but when I go to start a new game, it CTD's to desktop. I googled this issue and couldn't come up with anything. This is just me with the Vanilla game with the 1.a and 1.b patch.
