If it's not english there could be errors with the strings and that could cause the crash (although in the past my experience was that the lines didn't show up but it didn't crash the game). I may have to update the item to support multiple languages anyway.

I'm fairly sure, just point the installer at the swkotor folder and hit go, right? I made sure to point it there, not at the override folder.  And yes, the game is in English.

I can record and upload my install and crash to YT if you think that would be helpful so you can see what's going on?

I tried to run this mod and after adding the item and clicking on it (not equipping it, just clicking on it so you can read the item description) the game crashed.  This was on a completely clean install, no other mods installed, no k1 restoration, no cracked executable or uniws modifcation.
