  1. They are typically posts within existing topics on a given mod or mod request. Some are here, some are on the Steam forums, etc. Your reason #3 is the most rational...it's a tragedy, really, when sites bursting with creativity and hard work vanish, and I genuinely mourn them when it happens.
  2. Alright so I love these games and have played them many times. But my God, the combat queue is so incredibly broken. It seems that as soon as you switch characters, anything you have done with that character's combat queue is simply discarded and the game replaces your actions with it's own incredibly poor combat decisions. The queue is literally wiped the moment you switch, is it not? Therefore it is impossible to control more than one toon at a time in combat. The other infuriating queue issue is that even if you ARE directly controlling the character, that character is going to perform at least one previously-queued combat action before proceeding with my direct commands, EVEN IF I CLEAR OUT THE ENTIRE COMBAT QUEUE MANUALLY. In short, whoever programmed the queueing system should probably be shot. Then a modder should step forth to fix all this, and subsequently be awarded the Nobel Peace Prize.
  3. Is this necessary? I have the Steam version and have a few mods installed, mainly the big important restored content mods and few visual improvments. I have been installing them the usual way...just drop stuff in the override folder typically, or using an executable install if a mod has one. I mean, it's very unlikely this game will be updated again by Steam, but I suppose it's possible.
  4. I'm seeing so much conflicting info my head is spinning. Does the Steam version of Kotor II support 1080P out of the box?
  5. Hi All, I use Flawless Widescreen with KOTOR II, along with Achilles' UI fix for widescreen. It works fine, but the UI itself is compressed horizontally. Squashed, if you will. I'm guessing this is by design, to avoid having the HUD disappear beyond the screen edges. But if it's not intended, or if there is a way to avoid it, please let me know. It's distracting and makes the UI slightly less functional.
