Nope. Didn't work. Worse yet, I restarted my computer to fix the administrator issues and now when I try to launch the game it won't run, because it tells me it's not installed properly. It tells me to "please restore the installation or re-install the game." Argh!!

I'm having the "PC cannot move after combat" problem! I'm in the Shyrack cave on Korriban, and I killed one of the Shyracks using Power attacks, and when it died, my PC couldn't move. I could pan the camera around, but couldn't move forward, backwards, or anywhere without clicking on a door or some other object to automatically move me. So went back and loaded another save and killed the Shyrack using Flurry attacks instead. Same deal. Then I went back and killed it using Critical strikes and I could move! So I went to kill another Shyrack using Critical strikes, and after it died, I couldn't move again. So I went back and avoided those Shyracks altogether. The next enemy in my path was a Hssiss. I killed it, and I couldn't move again. I was able to click on the next door to get through it, but then I had to kill another Shyrack and there were no other doors or objects around, so I was stuck. I can't move forward in the game. I've tried loading multiple different savegame files, I've tried enabling and disabling VSync and playing around with other graphics options (quality, combat controls, key mapping, screen resolution, etc), but no dice. I also tried adding the "Disable Vertex Buffer Objects=1" in the .ini file, and no matter what administrative settings I have my computer on, every time I try to go ahead and save the .ini file it says "Access is denied." So it won't let me modify the .ini file in any way. I'm running Windows 7 64-bit on an HP laptop, ATI Mobility Radeon Premium graphics, with only TSLRSM 1.7 and the Unoffical Fix installed. Any ideas other than what I've tried? Please help!

Well, I finally managed to beat Nihilus, but only by backing off and chucking grenades at him. Seriously, I ran off, Visas got cut down almost right away after her "he is too strong" scene, and I let Mandalore take him on in melee combat while I stood back and threw every dang grenade I had at him. Somehow Mandalore died super quick when my PC tried to use melee, but when I stood back, Mandalore survived somehow. Odd. Anyway, it was all balanced out (kinda) because the big Storm Beast on Malachor was super easy this time around. Usually I have to dose up on every stim I have to beat that thing, but this time it was super easy. Thanks for all the advice, anyway! Now I've got a new problem, which I must search for an answer to . . .

Hm, stasis, eh? I'll have to try that . . . My charisma is pretty low though, I think, cuz I always levelled up my constitution and strength a ton. Thanks for all the replies, btw, everyone! I love forums. As for my lightsaber, I haven't played in a while, so I don't remember for sure what I've got in it. But I did lose my personal crystal for some strange reason due to a USM glitch (I think), so I hope that doesn't have anything to do with it. (?) I'll try changing my Lightsaber form, too, but even with tons of shielding and stims, I'm really not getting anywhere . . . I've got Visas using a lightsaber of course, and I've tried having Mandalore use both melee and ranged weapons, to no avail. It's weird. I've never had trouble defeating Nihilis before . . . Sion was always the hard one!

Um, maybe I'm missing something (or maybe my party just sucks), but with TSLRCM installed, defeating Nihilus seems to be impossible. I mean, I barely scratch him before my entire party is killed. I've concentrated on levelling up my PC on strength and constitution, I've got the best armor I could find, and my PC is a Jedi Guardian. And I have a high Treat Injury and only ever use physical attacks, not force powers (which I can't see being much use against Nihilus anyway). Is there some kind of trick to defeating him that I'm missing? Has the difficulty really been ramped up that much in the mod so that he's nearly impossible?

OK, now I have a different problem. I've dealt with the communications thing in the HK factory, but my journal still says that I have to find a way to stop the HK-50s from contacting me. And I've seen the droid schematics, re-started the HK-51 production, and pulled the chain that brings that little droid out of the other room, but now when I click on it, all it says is something like "this droid is meant to modify droid programming." I don't understand what I'm supposed to do. Isn't that droid supposed to modify HK-47's programming so he can shut down the reactor core? I've been all over the base (the parts that I can access so far), and there's nothing else I can do, that I can see. What have I missed? Has someone posted a walkthrough for the HK factory anywhere? Never mind, one of the cutscenes just didn't trigger. I think it'll work now.

Yeah, I did download the compatability patch when I had 1.6 installed, and it worked fine for the rest of the game. Except for some reason, when I put my personal lightsaber crystal into a normal lightsaber (not a USM one), it disappeared. I didn't notice until I had already saved over all my savegame slots, so I lost my lightsaber crystal. I still don't know why that happened. But anyway, I'll try deleting that file, and see what happens. Thanks for the help!!

OK I've tried going back and loading my game 3 times now, and the same thing has happened each time. Actually, it's been 4 times now since I've installed version 1.7. I spoke to HK-47 about the sonic imprint sensor, killed 3 groups of HK's, and got the torture cutscene in which he tells me that the droid factory is on Telos. But then I finish fighting Atris, and I get 4 cutscenes: the Ebon Hawk taking off from the POlar region, the Ravager flying through space, a shuttle (supposedly carrying HK-47, heading for Telos and the factory), and the Ravager and Sith arriving at Telos. Then all of a sudden my PC is in the Telos military base, facing the door that is (I thought) supposed to lead to the HK factory. The door is locked, and I can't do anything in the military base. The first time I got this, I wandered around the military base, and then found the HK-50s that come after you the first time you're in the base. I spoke to one of them, and it triggered the "the target has eluded us . . . they're headed for the Telos Polar region" bit, and then the cutscene where the HK shoots down your shuttle in the polar region. I was then on the Polar region Mesa, with Bao-Dur lying unconcious, and a couple of Handmaidens standing there. I spoke to one, and somehow got Atris' lightsaber crystal (I have USM and the patch installed). I went inside the "academy" but couldnt' go into Atris' chamber. So ther was nothing else I could do. The last time, I tried leaving the military base (without talking to the HK-50's), but that just leads outside, where there's nothing I can do either. I don't understand. I didn't have HK-47 with me when I killed the 3 groups of HK-50s, but I still got the torture scene where he tells me the factory is on Telos. So shouldn't I have ended up in the Telos Military base as HK-47, able to open the door to the factory (the locked door)? Why am I stuck as my Player Character?? The second
