I answered most of those... fresh install. Mods: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=489036533 (high quality stars and nebulas, modifies space textures, shouldn't be a problem in the palace) http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=489033142(high quality ravager, again no modifications to onderon palace) http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=485849525(improved peragus asteroid fields...ditto) http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=511658857(fixed lightsaber colors with glow) uninstalled the lightsaber colors, still a black screen, so that wasn't the problem. Uninstalled TSLRCM, no black screen, so that was the problem. The beginning loading screen of course has TSLRCM on it. Never heard of TSLPatcher. I did try a different save, same problem. Extremely specific about the error: I walked up to the door, switched to cinematic view, saw Talia and Vaklu fighting, Kavar looking injured. Then everything went black and subtitles appeared. Sound worked fine.

I restarted, restarted the computer, etc. Windows 8.1, Steam, Steam workshop version of TLSRCM. I'm not restarting the game from the beginning, that's 20 hours of ridiculous. Instead I uninstalled the mod, did the fight, reinstalled. Now of course I'm getting other things, like no reaction from HK 47 after three groups of droids killed with him in the party, abrupt conversation endings with HK, and the jedi lady who talks to you after you enter the enclave - no subtitles, and it hung. So.... yep. Not fun.
