Sorry for bringing back the post after so much time, but after all this time I haven't found the way to fix this error and I don't know what else to try
-
Even if when I speak with him he begins his speech with "Welcome to my home", even though he is still when you fight the kinraths (maybe I should've said that when I speak with him after the battle, this dialogue triggers. Sorry)

I don't know if it has to do with an issue with K1 Restoration mod, but after the scene with jolee when we fight with the kinraths, isn't Jolee suposed to get back to his house afterwards? Because when I finish the fight he simply stays were he stands.

Also if I can use this thread to make another question. I don't know if it has to do with an issue with K1 Restoration mod, but after the scene with jolee when we fight with the kinraths, isn't Jolee suposed to get back to his house afterwards? Because when I finish the fight he simply stays were he stands.

That was it!! That was definetily it. You were right, I had installed your mod, and as soon as I installed the 1.1 version, the problem was quickly solved. Thank you very much for the help.

When I'm playing on Kashyyyk and I encounter with the dark jedi group before the wookie village. It seems to have been altered by the NPC Overhaul mod, because some of them have another appearance. The issue is that one of them as soon as the dialogue ends, doesn't become hostile as it's supposed to be. Any idea of how to change this?

I think I've found out why some of the lines are missing from the dialogs. It's because somehow they are missing from the tlk file as well, and they are directly referenced in the .dlg files. But I can't seem to know how to fix it on its entirety without reinstalling every single mod that I have or going one by one changing them. I don't know if reinstalling just the K1R mod all over again would fix the problem. Also I don't really know yet the source of the "Conversation Error" that ends prematurely some of the conversations, or doesn't even give me the chance to have them (an example of this is with one of the consoles of the K1R vulkar base)

Here are some screenshots I made : Screenshots.rar The images are as it follows: 1) An image for the moment when the text doesn't show in the Security Guy dialogue. 2) The error that happens when you select the dialogue line "You better give me some information if you want to live". 3) The moment you open a certain door on the second level of the Black Vulkar base, a conversation with this new NPC begins, but there's no text shown. 4) When he ends talking and it's your turn to answer, there's no choices to make and the game keeps like in the image forever until I shut it down.

I've encountered with one big problem during my last playthrough of KotOR involving a restored contend of the K1 Restoration mod. Everything played fine until I got to the Vulkar base. I spoke with the security room guy and things began to get weird. With one line of dialogue I couldn't go further, the game told me there was an error with that exact line with an end or a continue, then with the dialogue line that unlocks the second level elevator, the text didn't show up but everything worked fine and I could enter the second level. The biggest issue starts when I enter in dialogue with one of the new NPC of that level. I can't see his dialogue lines, but the worst part is I can't even see my lines, and I can't choose a random one, so I get stuck in that conversation forever. If it's of any use, I've tried translating every dlg file and mod file to my language (Spanish) with dlgconv in the case it was a compatibility issue, but it seems to not work. Please, any help would be wonderful.

Funny that you mention it. That's what I just did XD. I took an original file from the game and edited it with the same values of the one I shared, and after saving it, it's not corrupted and works fine ingame. Also it can be re-edited. I don't know about the multiple Resref fields or why it would be corrupted in the first place.
-
I've tried that, but it seems it doesn't fix it. Some of them (the lightsaber ones) are from Kotor 2 indeed, but I used the method to change them to Kotor properly (until now they have worked fine). I've never encountered with this issue before. The reason why the text is entered for Spanish is because I have a Spanish version of the game myself, and the texts didn't show until I added that. I don't know about the other language and why it's there. Which language is it?

Also, now all the files I try to edit end up corrupted and with errors such as "The arithmetic operation has caused overflow" or "It's not possible to read further from the end of the sequence". Here I send some examples of files that I've been trying to edit but failed. UTI Files.rar In the .rar file, the file that isn't in the "corrupted files" folder is an unedited file so you can try. In the "corrupted files" folder there is a file named g_a_class6012.uti. That was the last file I could edit before this happened, but when I tried to simply save that file again without changes it became corrupted.

I'm working entirely on windows 10, running KT on it (not as an Admin, though). On KT I have the default installation configuration (with the Override's 2DA option activated). For the files, how should I share them with you guys? I'm relatively new, so I'd appreciate the advice
-
A little bit of both, sometimes the files work well but with no changes applied, but in other cases the files end up being corrupted and the game crashes (those files can't be changed again also, because Kotor Tool throws an error when opening those files and crashes)

As the title says, I've been encountering with this problem recently. Kotor Tool seems to not be able to save UTI files properly anymore after I change some minor things, or even saving them as they are (with no changes). The strange thing is that not so long ago (a day or so) it worked as usual, with no problems at all, so it isn't a problem with the installation of the program. If anyone knows the reason for this problem, I'd be grateful if they could help me with it
