My quest log says this. "I may be able to talk to the person in the recordings and find out what happened." And I talked to him. And his dialogue tree made somehow made it to me upload reports when I said I'd help him. I've been to every terminal, including the one you've mentioned, with no options.

I'm at the part where I have to get into the room near the Console with the two recordings. I talked to the cleaner droid who wanted me to "upload some data" somewhere. Also, this isn't my first KOTOR2 Rodeo people, and I play lots of old games, including ones like FFXI, a MMORPG that never told you where to go besides the actual text during the quest, even the log didn't show you or give hints, and that is my favorite MMORPG. It's not that I can't handle old school MMORPGs, I'm 25, I've played lots of old ones, including Planescape: Torment. Also,. near the start? I'm 1 hour+ in so far. I heard this is around 3 hours. Yes, the video guides exist, but I want a text guide, I literally cannot stand the video guides at all.

I should never have installed this. The poor VA. Random performance drops. Boring quests, a log that doesn't update, and no clear idea where to go, and pretty much only crappy video Walkthroughs, and I hear it's like 3 hours long? God. I know alot of work was put into it, but boy am I regretting it. I literally quit for 3 days because it was boring me so much, now I try again tonight and am stuck on the part with the cleaning droid to get into the area, he wants me to upload a report - I've checked every location I can, nothing. I've found a Droid collar, talked ot the cleaning droids, talked to CS-45 ect. I honestly cannot recommend this mod to anyone else whom plays it. No offense to the developer, it's a great effort, but it was scrapped for a reason, I think.

Game keeps crashing at Serroco Veterans.

Well I left, reinstalled again, and re-entered, and it was ok this time. So I'm by it. Thankfully. -

Different module? Do you mean I can leave the zone, save, apply the changes, come back, and it may be fixed? I tried using the latest NPC Overhaul, left the area, saved, loaded, went back, still crashed. =/ Am I seriously screwed here? 12 hours and my game is now dead? -

Well I only keep one single save from before the area. I have no save from before entering the area. Am I screwed? I can still leave the zone, I saved right before the crash area. Maybe re-installing it as said above works? The crash happens just as I enter the Serroco area and walk near the 4 guys, I imagine a cutscene triggers. -
TSLRCM 1.8.3 Xwarx Textures The new planet mod. NPC Overhaul mod. That's it. Any idea? Rest of the planet seems fine.
-
Yeah, I re-flipped them. Well the topic in which I got them told me to flip them, infact, two different posters did. And wow, what a rude moderator. Still, thanks for your help, I figured it out a few minutes ago and decided to try. I don't know why several google topics about this texture pack says to flip them.
-
Another issue. I flipped the files as people said was required, but...: http://cloud-2.steampowered.com/ugc/3244030610504783880/CCC9C24771CEDD210771F0EEF7F27104EAEA22ED/ Should I flip them back? Why did the forum, post tell me to flip them then? I was looking through the textures and most seemed flipped correctly...? I mean in the image viewer, I found tel_grassfx.tga and it's set upright.
-
Guess it doesn't work with the Steam then. Maybe update it if you can? I mean, it's just kinda annoying, I can't even recommend it to my other friends with the Steam version. It takes over 700 clicks to install it...it's tedious and boring and easy to forget your place unless you put a checkmark next to them in note-pad. For steam users, it just becomes an immense chore.
-
Really? Wow, I mean, it is the only one I've seen like that. But that is also the generic color of "missing textures when compiling maps" in most games.
-
Graphic mods installed: http://www.lucasforums.com/showthread.php?t=211202 I flipped them, too. TGA. Downloaded here: http://www.moddb.com/members/oriionz/addons Also TSLRCM + NPC Overhaul mod + the new planet mod. That's it. Picture: http://cloud-2.steampowered.com/ugc/3263170445227745307/3419176260C65AD21D2D5DC506274DF0F0A96ABD/ I tried using the embed option, but it says it wasn't supported... I remember stuff like this in HL1/HL2 when textures were missing.

I have the Steam version, yes. UTC?
-
It never auto-searched for the install folder. I had to search EVERY time. This took a lot of time, and effort. Not ungrateful, but when you install a bunch of mods that are drag and drop, then get to the last one, which seems a simple one, and have to click once to open, once to get to the install screen, then click 2-3 times to the folder, then click 1 more time to get it to install, THEN hit X. Repeat this 50 times? Yeah, it gets annoying.

Videos playing in small box / twice sometimes & crash.
Mkilbride replied to Mkilbride's topic in General Kotor/TSL Modding
I don't like playing games in Windowed mode. And yes, I did every part of the NPC overhaul. It was grueling, but I even made a checklist of each one I installed as to make sure. -
So I just got to the part where the big old crusty guy comes in with his ship, as I'm on the outside in the Space Suit. The video plays, small, same as the other, then game minimizes, so I click to bring it back up again and it replays the video. Then crashes. I have TSLRCM + that one new planet + the 2013 GFX update from another thread & NPC OVerhaul mod. That's it.
-
...Why... That's like 15+ minutes of straight clicking.
-
Do I really have to install EACH one with the TSLpatcher? There's like 35. Each time I have to find the install directory. Is there no "Install All" button?!
-
Alright, so I got the game all patched up with you guys awesome mod and some others. I got my resolution set to 2560 x 1440. My monitor is 120HZ though, and despite putting that in the .ini, I can't get it to go. Even with triple-buffering V-Sync. No solution as it's an older game? Second: Movies are REALLY SMALL. KOTOR1 didn't have this issue. I mean they are like the size of a Game-boy Advance in the middle of my screen. Obviously related to resolution. Any fix? Also, Steam version in case that helps.
