  1. Of course I wouldn't! But I don't have any problems running the game on Vista or 7 as I use my old XP computer. Your own "get-kotor-12-working-on-vista-and-windows-7"-thread states as a possible fix to a crashy game to delete or make the game ignore the .bik-movies. Hence, if a 7-user deletes the .bik-movies to make the game run (fairly) smoothly, this particular movie is lost too. As you painstakingly recreated Visas being tormented by Nihlus and send to join the Exile and The Battle of Koonda in the ingame engine, this video, which I find as important as the Visas/Nihlus-scene, somehow managed to escape all modders working on this game's collective attention. (make any sense? My dyslexia is bugging me today...) Now, I realise how much time you all spend on this mod, and I am endlessly grateful for your hard work (and don't get enough night sleep as a result), but this just puzzles me. As this is a "minor inconveniences"-thread, I felt it was a good place to bring it to your collective attention... Whether you choose to do anything about my "problem" or not, is beyond my influence.
  2. Not a bug, but I found a .bik-movie, that will lose a bit of the game's story if deleted to make the game run in Vista/7 (I use my 10 year old XP-comp, so I have no such problems). If you ask Kreia if she is Jedi or Sith and pass an influence check, she "flash-back" a video of Sion and Nihilus casting her down from power at Trayus Core. If that is gone, her lines of "I held the Galaxy by its throat!" will make no sense, and her motivation for hunting Sion and Nihilus (through the Exile...) is lost too.
  3. Finally. FINALLY!!! This is why I kept my now 10 year old XP-laptop... I was a bit apprehensive as I read about other with a similar set-up not being able to run TSLRCM, but nothing ventured, nothing gained. And what a success. Now, the sour note: whether it is permanent or currently, the official patches for non-US versions of TSL CANNOT be downloaded from LucasArts homepage. I found them somewhere else online (gamefront[dot]com) after a quick search (and the HQ music and video patches - not that I need them...), so a small addendum in the Vista/7 tweak guide is sorely needed to spare other gamers the heartache I have been through... Game patched and modded, I cautiously inserted the disc and pressed play. Now I have difficulty getting my arms down, and when that succeeds, I don't get enough sleep. And I have a smile on my face that simply doesn't vanish... So sincerely, deeply and a lot of other too small words-ly, THANK YOU to you modders, that have spend years making this great game as great as it was supposed to be. Now, if you will excuse me... I have a brand new old game to beat...
