Anybody have any advice or a link on how to successfully play kotor 1 on a windows 7 machine? I am currently running directx 11, a nvidia GTX 260 and a intel I7 processor...

problem is it wont patch with the mod installed stops at 40% and says there is already an existing file haha guess ill just finish this playthrough..

I looked in my saves folder and they are not there haha....

Is this bad? I have done 1 playthrough and it did not seem to be a problem..although on this next playthrough I am getting more hang ups inbetween loading zones....could this be the problem? I think that was a vanilla issue...

maybe this is why I am getting hang ups on my thrird playthrough? I dont THINK I patched to 1.0b...

Could it be possible that the more saves you have in the game the more often you get crashes? This is my third playthrough and I have gotten the most crashes....My 1st was completely clean, the second had 1 crash and finally this third has had about 7 to 8..could this be possible or am I just having bad luck..

come to think of it...I have NEVER done Onderon as my SECOND planet like I did this time...it was always my LAST....maybe thats why I have always been contacted right away? lmao

Basically the first time I played he contacted me right away.....once I got back to my ship on dxun...this time he has not contacted me...do I go and do something else for a while? just found it odd since the 1st playthrough I was contacted right away..lol this is my third post no idea whats going on this playthrough.

So ya I hit the update button by mistake on the launcher and all of my saves have randomly vansished....I had about 800 of them inbetween 3 characters...what happened? I am looking in the saved games folder and there is no thing their other then a new game I started after the saves were gone.....wtf?

Hey guys I am currently playing this great mod and on the second playthrough I seem to be getting frequent crashes when I am loading areas...like when leaving outside the cantina on onderon or leaving the ebon hawk you know the transitioning from one area to another. This happen to me 1 time during my first playthrough and on the second has happened 4 or 5 times. I am running no other mods and the OS I am using is windows 7. They are not CTDs the game seems to just hang up in the loading process...then I have to tab out and en the process any help?

I realize that the mod does not fix powers at the moment but I just finished on play through and noticed that master speed/armor/valor do not all give you the full compliment of defense that you should receive. For instance if you cast force armor first it DOES give you the plus 6 defense, I then cast Master speed and valor and should have an extra 6 defense but only receive 5! This is a HIGH DEX character so I am thinking it is either bugged OR their is a defense cap at certain levels since my DEX is so high PS I saw some posts from 2004 saying that people were receiving the saving throws bonus from the force armor line but not the defense...I know I AM getting the defense I am guessing this was fixed at some point by obsidian...
