I was just investigating the cause of brightness issues from saber hilts that I thought relevant to your own adjustments/or coincided. Bio ware rushed them during development not on par with most Star Wars games. Yeah so there's something within the mdl and mdx files that causes the renderer in those hilts to display things differently from Bespokey's perspective mainly. There actually all broken to a degree with ugly flat tops and rugged beam textures.
Now with the high poly tin can mods if they were all equalized or fixed I could provide a very special blade texture to those....... I wish I could bring more to those sabers.
