installed KOTOR II and assorted mods(I have windows 7), and started playing the game, after about a hour I realized that I wasn't getting influence points with other characters, so a reinstalled the game with no mods and it's still the same? Any suggestions as of how to fix this

Answer: You don't start gaining or losing influence until after you have an actual party. That doesn't happen until you have to board the Harbinger. The game will tell you about influence and plainly say that from that point on you will lose or gain influence with your party members.

ok, but how does that explain when I was using the mods and had no influence points by telos station? Any help would be nice

 

also on the no mod install I booted up a old game and there was still no way to get infuence

Theory: I can only assume you didn't make any responses that would grant influence. But that is difficult to do. Pretty much the only way to do that is if you only say "Let's move on" all the time, but even that doesn't always mean you don't get any influence good or bad.

 

Theory: It could be your copy is messed up in that aspect as well as the rest.

 

 

Query: Just to make sure I understand, you tried playing the game with no mods installed at all, and still got no influence?
