Crash leaving Citadel Station

Hi I'm new and not sure this crash is because of the mods but it could be as when I've played vanilla in the past I had no problems like this.

 

I'm playing the 1.6 tslcrm with some of the "compatible" mods from the stickied thread. All that happens is when I try to board the ship in docking bay three to go to the Telos surface the movie plays and then when the game should then produce a loading screen it doesn't and just goes black giving me the old "Program not responding" business. I am unfortunately playing on vista and did have to use that vista fix to even get this game started but up until this point in the game I've had no big problems.

I just finished and hadn't any critical problem. But I couldn't play using Win7, and now I use XPsp3

Yeah I'm hoping it's not just because I'm using the joke that is Vista. Changing operating system at the moment is just not possible for me.

 

Edit: Problem seems to have fixed itself, I tried Windows XP SP2 compatibility mode and it worked.

I'm surprised you've got the game to work at all without the Compatibility Mode... One of the few this I liked when upgrading to Windows 7; KOTOR 2 worked without all the nonsense...
