Help please = how do I open the patch for ipad

I just bought KotOR2 today.  I downloaded the Sith Lords Restored patch - but I cannot see that it is on my ipad, although I saw the download progress.

I don't know where the patch is stored on the ipad or how to access it

So I can't tell if it is active in my KotOR2 or not.  Please help.

All the advice I have found through searches is how to move data from computer to ipad or involves iphones and are not relevant.
