Guest Bob Ta'aar Posted August 4, 2011 Yeah, I really look forward to the Revan-novel: http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Star_Wars:_The_Old_Republic:_Revan Although I'm a big fan of TOR, I agree on the critic on the timeline- and emperor-stuff. What bugs me the most is, that ships, weapons, armor and such stuff looks way too similar now to the movies while there should be a 3500 years gab of technological progress inbetween. Still, if you're familiar with a lot of EU work, I think there was much bigger crap than what we get now. I mean for example the Dark Empire with clones of the Emperor? Siriously? And I haven't read the New Jedi Order series yet, but so far, I'm not really convinced of the whole Yuzahn Vong stuff ... always seemed kinda un-Star-Wars like to me. TOR on the other hand is SO Star Wars, just lacking some technological and storyline-difference to the movies. Anyways. I got my Deluxe Edition pre-orderd . Guest hkmandalore47 Posted August 5, 2011 now that i think of it after reading ur comment bob, Yuzhan Vong kinda reminds me of Viet Cong all of a sudden. i dont really know anything about it except that they were pretty powerful. also, i find it wierd how after RotJ, remnants of the empire are STILL arond and there seems to be more war than ever involving people trying to bring the empire back.
