This saddens me greatly if 1.8 is the last one. I truely did enjoy the work everyone put into the restorations mods. I thank you for all the work that everyone did.

I wanted to ask how far the restoration mods are going to be taken. I mean you had 1.5, 1.6, 1.7, and 1.8 is coming (plus whatever was before). Once 1.8 comes out, will there be a 1.9? How far is everything planning to go?

Well, I've tried opening the console in-game with the normal "`/~" key. It's not opening for me however. Edit: Ok, I feel really embarrassed now. The console does work if I run as admin, and it really is invisible. I didn't think it would be completely invisible, I thought there would be some sort of mark or identification. Sorry

I was looking at new head mods, this is the only one I was interested in that I could find on this site. http://knightsoftheoldrepublic.filefront.com/file/Athena_Too_Selectable_Female_PC;76021 It says that you have to use a giveitem command for the character to look like that if I'm reading it right.

I think I got it installed correctly in manual, it launches, I just need a surefire way to see if it worked so I'm reviewing the change log for something that can tell me.

It runs fine before I install the demo, the problem starts after I install the demo it asks for the CD. I'll try a manual install instead of the automatic one and see what happens. I'm trying to do the manual install, but when I reach step two, to copy all the .MOD files. There are no .MOD files located in the demo that I downloaded. Are they missing or....? Ok, so I went back and reviewed all the files in the downloaded folder. The .MOD files are there, but when I try to extract them I get an error, for some reason not everything is being extracted. Does anyone know a fix for this? or could it just be my computer because I'm running Windows 8 Consumer Preview. I've tried with 7zip and winrar. Sorry for so many posts, I got the files to extract.

It didn't work, I just tried the other disk. The set I got was part of the "Best of PC Pack", it included Battlefront, Jedi Knight 2: Jedi Outcast, and Republic Commandos on one disk. The second disk has Empire at War and Knights of the Old Republic on it.

I tried reinstalling, and just to double check I launched the game after installing the 1.03 patch and it worked. Once I installed the demo though, it kept asking for the CD. I also tried the executable that was posted here, didn't do anything except give me an analysis option, but it still asked for a CD. I should mention that I'm not using a full KOTOR 1 only CD. When I bought it, it was part of a pack. The CD also has Empire at War on it, don't know if this makes a difference.

I ran into a problem with the demo. I installed the normal patch for KOTOR 1, Patch 1.03. I then installed the demo, but now it's asking for a CD even though it's already in the drive. Is there a fix for this or did I do something wrong?

Ah, thank you for the information.

I don't know if you've already answered this or not, I apologize for making this post if you have. What exactly does the demo do besides restore some content, I mean does it cut off after a certain point ending the game or something like that? I would love to play this demo, I just have an annoying tendency in my personality to be able to finish what I started. Sorry I also don't know where that plus sign came from in the title, maybe a typo... but I digress. Sorry again, I don't want to seem rude or anything in this post. I personally think it's wonderful what your doing and hope you all keep on going forward.

Got an invalid ID when I tried the link.

I was wondering for those that have played far more than me. If you play a "Sentinel" at the beginning of the game and prestige class to weaponmaster/marauder, will you gain access to all the feat choices that you would get if you normally started with a "Guardian"? Nevermind, I figured it out on my own.
