There was about a second where that happened (I was on the Mando flagship - I saw the fight on the security cameras). Too bad Revan then repulsed him and got his footing back. If Mandalore had just broken his neck at that point, instead of giving him time to secure himself, things could've gone differently.

A sound tactic - ship all the civilians and democratic representatives off-planet so no one will protest against the military coup.
