    You mean this?

Yes! I couldn't work out why I kept seeing that. I did two complete uninstalls of the entire game and reinstalled all mods in a way I thought could prevent it.. but no luck. In the end I just gave up. What would you recommend is the optimal combination of mods which improve NPC diversity overall in the game?

I'm not as familiar with Galaxy of Faces, but yes, what you said explains a lot. I'll keep an eye out in future for any further updates to it (unsure who released it).

I think having different mod options is good for the game, but a large mod like the KOTOR Expansion Pack makes sense in rectifying a lot of problems simultaneously in a compatible way. Thanks for the reply.

@Janus_Icon there is a mod from N-DReW25 which does exactly that, diversify the faces of all the human NPCs, you can check it out, I think it's called NPC diversity pack.

Unfortunately I've not been able to get that to work correctly in combination with other mods I'm running. I know there are other similar NPC editing mods out there but just using one alone doesn't cut it, and using 2 or more in combinations always seems to cause issues for me. At the moment I'm using NPC and Alien Diversity pack from Stellarexile and N-Drews K1 Alien pack, its seems to be the most stable combination, but still has the odd weird texture scramble on some Taris commoner NPCs. Galaxy of Faces was also okay, but again, it doesn't play nice with the other two and by itself I felt a little underwhelmed.

I think this is the strength CapitaineSpoque project though, its improving on a lot of things simultaneously so there shouldn't be any of these weird mod clashes. I'm pleased to hear a lot of aliens and assets from TSL have already been ported over, because in my opinion the way to make the original KOTOR planets feel 'alive and vibrant' is to see visual diversity reflected across the NPC inhabitants. My biggest complaint of the original game even back in 2002 was the immersion breaking 'cloned heads'.

  3. This mod sounds amazing! Love the fact that you're keeping it a large project with a big install too, installing small mods one by one and having compatibility issues is so tedious. I think the biggest problem plaguing the game when evaluated against modern standards is the NPC cloning, there's such a lack of human and alien variation. If this was fixed across the game (unique faces for all NPCs), it would go a long way to making the game feel modern when paired with other texture and reshade mods.

So I think your vision for the game is absolutely nailing it! Good luck, can't wait to see this released.
