I'm completely new to modding and have no idea where to begin for something like this, but I'm really interested in making a 'Neutral Alignment' mod.
Obviously Neutral alignment is already in the game but you get no Force Mastery bonuses for being 'pure' Neutral. Would it even be possible or feasible to make a mod like this? It would require a bit of tweaking, considering you begin the game as pure Neutral and wouldn't want to receive bonuses right away.
I envisioned something along the lines of the bonuses requiring you to be level 15 or higher with a alignment range of 10 through -10, or whatever registers as pure Grey on the character screen. I feel a small range is fair, as it would be incredibly difficult to maintain an exact zero alignment score.
The actual bonuses are yet to be determined, and could be dictated by class, but a static 25% reduction in all FP costs, in addition to balanced stat bonuses, seemed relevant due to the mastery of the middle alignment path.
As I said before, I have no idea where to begin doing something like this, and would love some guidance if anyone is willing to help. That, and I'm wondering if it's even possible. I know some stuff is hard coded into the game and can't be altered, but I'm hoping this doesn't fall into that area.
