(Help) Star Forge robes model edit

Hello, 

I have somehow managed to put together a Star Forge robes masked and capeless version of the Revan robes but I need help with removing the belt. I tried opening the mdl file with Blender and 3DS Max, but I just could not get it to work :(

Im hopelessly frustrated with this. Im attaching the model here if anyone could help me with this, I would be forever in your debt!
