Before Getting Equipment Back Telos Help Requested

Recommended Posts

Hi guys. I have been playing Kotor 2 for several years now, but each time I start a new game/save, I keep running into the same issue. Before I get my Equipment back from the TSF on Telos, it takes forever to kill the Assassin near my TSF Prison, and also the optional fight near the Cantina. Since I don't have any weapons, I have to rely on fists and force powers. Anyone have any suggestions on how to proceed? Thoughts and help greatly appreciated  :)

I'm not sure if I'll tell you nothing new.

As far as I know the storyline is always that, escaping from prison killing the assassin and the second fight in front the cantina ...but just with your powers and hands (remember you dispose the Kreia's powers aswell and Atton can't die if he is not the last standing). I don't remember if, still without equipment, you can dispose of your money because just before the cantina there is the arms' shop but I never bought nothing at this point and I don't remember too much troubles with this fight.

If I remember well Kreia has Shock power and I like develope Stun power for my PC that are useful. If you can stun the enemies (from second line is safer place, leaving the first hits for your mates) even one by one (9 seconds stunned for succesfull cast at this power level), your companions can, safety and easyly, concentrate on each enemy, shocking with Kreia and punching with Atton. You can repeat the stun attacks keeping in mind -more or less- the remaining stunned time and your reserves of Force. The risk is that Kreia or you or both run out of Force, you can try alternating the attacks between powers and fists but your PC will have to move closer the danger.

I don't know if I've helped you

Considering that both you and Kreia should be getting +[2-8] from Unarmed Specialist II at this point, that's not much less powerful than weapons are this early in the game, if at all. Are you sure it's not placebo, that it seems like you're killing them slower? Or are you relying on weak Force powers like Push.
