  1. Hi everyone. I wanted to share an idea/project where I'll attempt to port 2 (1 male, 1 female) head models for SWKotOR head mods. The first head will be David "Section" Mason from Call Of Duty: Black Ops II. And the second head will be Chloe "Karma" Lynch, also from Call Of Duty: Black Ops II. Currently, I only obtain David "Section" Mason's model and have not disassemble his head yet. Wish me luck and encouragement my friends.
  2. File Name: Four Force Powers File Submitter: InSidious File Submitted: 24 Feb 2014 File Category: Mods This mod adds four new, three-tier Force Powers to KotOR - Rage, Scorch, Revitalise and Floating Lightsabres. 1 is Light Side, 1 is Dark Side, and there are two Universal Force Powers. You may recognise a few of these names from TSL or Jedi Academy, and that's because I have now recreated them for K1. Rage: Dark Side power, available at Level 13. Gives the user a bonus of +4 to Strength, +3 to Dexterity,+2 to Constitution for 20 seconds and a 50% speed bonus, while there is also a penalty of -3 to Intelligence, -2 to Wisdom, -1 to Charisma; after that the character's FPs are severely depleted, as are the character's VPs. Further, the penalties to Wisdom/Intelligence/Charisma remain, and the bonuses to Strength, Dexterity and Constitution are now penalties for 10 seconds. Knight Rage: Dark Side power, available at Level 16. Same as above, but the bonuses have increased to +4 STR, +4 DEX, +3 CON, and the penalty has increased to -4 STR, -3 DEX, -3 CON; the WIS/INT/CHA penalties remain the same. Master Rage: Dark Side power, available at Level 19. Same as above, but the bonuses have increased to STR +5, DEX +4, CON +4; the penalties remain the same. Revitalise: Light Side power, available at Level 9. Allows you to restore to life any non-droid party member killed in combat, restoring 10 VPs. Knight Revitalise: Light Side power, available at Level 12. Same as above, but will restore 20 VPs. Master Revitalise: Light Side power, available at Level 15. Same as above, but will restore 30 VPs. Scorch: Universal power, available at Level 9. Projects a spray of flame at the target, causing damage. Knight Scorch: Universal power, available at Level 12. Same as above, but does twice the damage. Master Scorch: Universal power, available at Level 15. Same as above Scorch, but does three times the damage. Floating Lightsabres I: Universal power, available at Level 10. Spawns a single lightsabre, to help you in combat, which lasts for 20 seconds . Without giving too much away, this should remind people who've played TSL of the final battle...These sabres will be a different colour depending on your alignment if you are Light Side – blue for guardians, green for consulars, yellow for sentinels, or red if you are Dark Side. Floating Lightsabres II: Universal power available at Level 13. Same as above, but spawns two lightsabres, which last for 30 seconds. Floating Lightsabres III: Universal power available at Level 16. Same as above, but spawns three lightsabres, which last for 40 seconds. Known Bugs: -The floating lightsabres have humanoid shadows. Sorry, but this seems to be someting to do with the game engine itself... -Some people - those with Radeon graphics cards, in particular - may run into some graphical issues - namely, the lightsabres appearing to have an all-black 'body'. I've tried to get rid of this effect, but have had no luck so far. -For some reason, I occasionally have problems with the KotOR Tool .utc editor when I use this mod. This may just be a problem for my system, though. Click here to download this file

Description The sonic screwdriver comes from the planet Gallifrey, in the constellation of Kasterborus, in a galaxy far, far away. Not only can it unscrew and unlock things, it also has its uses as a weapon, particularly against machines. Damage Bonus, Sonic +2 Damage Bonus vs. Droids, Ion +1-4 Repair +2 To get it in-game, it can be purchased from Crattis Yurkal on Dantooine. Alternatively, you can get it by typing "giveitem di_ssd_01" and "giveitem di_ssd_02" into the console, without quote, and hitting the return key. This mod adds two items to the game: a weapon, the stats of which are outlined above, and a useable item. The useable item will allow the player to open closed doors and unlock placeable items, dependent on scoring 15 or higher on a random number generator out of 20. If not, the effect will fizzle. The player also needs to have the sonic screwdriver weapon actually equipped at the time in order to use this. N.B.: This mod is incompatible with any other which modifies the file "dan13_crattis.dlg". Installation Double click on "Install Sonic Screwdriver for KotOR I", and hit the "Install Mod" button. Uninstallation Remove the following files from your Override folder: di_ss_01.ncs di_ss_01.tga di_ss_01.txi di_ssd_01.dlg di_ssd_01.uti di_ssd_02.uti ip_pltuseitem_241.tga iw_SonicPstl_241.tga w_SonicPstl_241.mdl w_SonicPstl_241.mdx If you installed this mod on top of other mods, DO NOT delete the files "globalcat.2da" OR "spells.2da", as this may cause problems with your game. Credits & Thanks -Thanks are especially due to Fair Strides 2, whose help was invaluable in getting the scripting for the sonic screwdriver functioning properly; -Thanks also to VarsityPuppet for the inspiration to revisit this mod, and for feedback on the model; -Thanks as always to the folk at Holowan Labs, without whom KotOR modding would never have got off the ground. -Lucasarts and Bioware for KotOR, and Obsidian, too, for TSL, without which, I couldn't have made this . Disclaimer All materials and copyrights belong to LucasArts, Bioware and Obsidian Entertainment Inc., Kotor Tool belongs to Fred Tetra, NWNSSCOMP belongs to Edward T. Smith. I own none of the materials, and I'm not making any money out of this mod. It is to be distributed as-is without alteration, unless by permission of the mod author. This mod is not to be distributed for profit, either. Use it how you like, but if you're going to post it up somewhere, or make a derivate mod, or use it in another mod, you must ask me first.

I found my saves again and upon editing the save file for a new cheat run, and then running the game through its updated launcher then running the applied changes save file, none of the attributes nor credits I had altered were changed at all. 6 Player Heads

    Version 1.0.0

    646 downloads

Description This mod adds 6 new heads to the game - five male, and one female. The five male heads are based on Carth, Trask, Shaardan, and Gadon Thek from KotOR I, and Dhagon Ghent in KotOR II. The female head is based on the Peragus Medical Officer. Each head comes with its own set of Dark Side transitions. This mod was inspired by the 8 New Male Player Characters mod, released by The Ossus Keeper in 2005. The mod makes use of TSLPatcher, for easier installation and compatibility. Installation Double click on "Install 6 Player Heads for KotOR 2", and hit the "install mod" button. Known Bugs Known Bugs ---------- - The Peragus Medical Officer head sometimes shows a line down the middle of the forehead. This is a defect in the model, which is not fixed. - The skin-tone of the Peragus Medical Officer head does not match the black female underwear skin. - The Gadon Thek head looks a bit disproportionate on some models. 😕 - The portraits don't look the same or as good as the vanilla game ones. 😕 - This mod was made using the 4CD version of the game, and textures may not look so good in the hi-res, Aspyr re-release.

This mod thins out the lightsaber blades provided with the game, first by reducing the size of the "core", and second by making the "aura" a lot dimmer and more ragged.
  11. Hey everyone, It´s my first time here on deadlystream, so here I am! Some of you may know( or may not ) me and my mod from Moddb.com. If this is true, you know I´ve been working on this thing for years, but sadly I wasn´t able to complete until know for several reasons, primary it was lack of time. But i´ve decided to restart working, so I started from the beginning. If you don´t know me nor my Mod please check it out here: http://www.moddb.com/mods/kotor-ultimate Up to now there´s only the Endar Spire part done completely. Here are some screenshots. I´m now currently working on Taris, which I think will take some time, It´s really a big area, and Taris includes lots of textures in need to get a HQ replacement. Here´s a screenshot of the new floor. Please, Share me your thoughts on this. ( You can check more screenshots on Moddb The new texture pack of the Endar Spire is available for download now, here and Moddb!! Since I´m new to deadlystream here, please let me know, If I can do any better! I will try to post as many of my WIP stuff here and I would love it if you help me creating and developing this mod by supporting me here! Greetings - Thunder3
  12. Hello! Not sure if this is where I'm supposed to post this, so I apologize if this isn't the correct place. I have a few questions about the swkotor.ini file. On another website I saw that someone had changed their KOTOR 2 swkotor2.ini "Number 2D Voices=64" and "Number 3D voices 57" to improve quality of audio. I tried to apply those settings to my KOTOR 1 swkotor.ini and it reverted them both to 32, so I assume that is the highest for KOTOR 1? Also I'm curious if changing any of these settings could improve audio quality: Environment Effects Level=0.60 2D3D Bias=1.50 Environment Effects=1 Environment Effects Nonstreaming=1 Environment Effects Streaming=1 Also on the same website I saw they changed their KOTOR 2 swplayer.ini "Memory Access=2 Memory Level=2" I see the same settings in KOTOR 1's swkotor.ini. Does this increase quality of anything, or do anything to the game? Also, is there anything else in the .ini's, or that can be added, to improve quality of graphics or audio? Thanks!
  13. I have recently started adding mods to my KotOR TSL game (beyond RCM which I've had for some time). I initially jumped in without reading into it and completely FUBAR'd my game, so I restored local content and created a backup of this once I confirmed it was working fine again. I then took it slowly, and found that the first few mods I integrated used the TSL patcher, and upon testing the game was fine. I created an updated backup of the game at a working point with the mods I had so far installed.* I then went ahead and installed some more mods, some of these explained that they just needed to be dropped into the override folder, which I did with no conflicts in file names. When I loaded the game again, it crashed as soon as I went through a loading door to a new area. (When this happens it boots me back to the title screen and the buttons are unresponsive, I then have to end the process through task manager). If I remove just the files I had added for the mod and load the game again, the issue remains. I then have to delete all the items out of the SWKotOR 2 folder and paste in a copy of the backup for this to work. (Even though the files are exactly the same as if I had removed the mod out myself) This, I have found, only occurs with some files, such as a vibrosword reskin mod and an enhanced beams reskin mod. However other mods such as BaoDur's repulsor reskin also add to the override and cause no issues. Is there a reason for this? *BaoDur's Electromesh Armor 2.0 BaoDur's repuslor reskin Aliens redetailed Thanks in advance
