  1. In 2017, @Kexikus created a spreadsheet to list all of KotOR 1's modules and their corresponding Day, Night and Battle music. @Sith Holocron requested a TSL version of such list, though none of the sort has been made, so I decided to volunteer the task myself. Here you go: The Sith Lords Restored Content Mod (TSLRCM) + M4-78 Enhancement Project (M4-78EP) modules and music overview spreadsheet This spreadsheet covers all the modules from both TSLRCM and M4-78EP. Like in K1, the module codes can be used for the warp cheat code (for example, warp 003EBO). All music tracks are listed with their number corresponding to their row in ambientmusic.2da, their file name (the music files can be found in the StreamMusic folder) and their track title as identified with their TLK (dialog.tlk) StrRef. I have also included previews of the music by linking to YouTube in the spreadsheet. Hope you will find this spreadsheet helpful. Enjoy!
  2. Hi guys!!! I've decided start a new (which I think different of all I've seen) topic and I believe it can be interesting. In this, my next Play-through with TSL, my intention is indicate the MODs I'm installing at each time of game play and, as far as possible, the results. It's basically for three main reasons. First, the combination of several MODs can help somebody to choose/confirm an election due some compatibility doubts or simply for a nice game play. Second, usually I install the MODs just before they're involved (although there is a large list of them that must be installed before start a Play-through and others that the timeline/story line is indifferent) and due the enormous quantity of MODs available, the Community can help me to choose my next MODs to install according with my story line in the game, within a previous selection, compatibility issues, recommendations, warnings and opinions. All will be welcome. Third reason, because I like the idea. My choices are absolutely mine with no other consideration that enjoy and (a MUST) try to keep the compatibility along the game, so, please, let no one be offended if I use one MOD and not other. Anyway, several times my final choice change from one day to another. Of course this "in Real Time" (more or less) selection will not be a guarantee to finish successfully the game and/or see a MOD in all its grandeur due the complexity of a lot of MODs working together. It's a risk that I am prepared to run. And you? Anyway it can be funny. How can it be otherwise all the credits are for the authors of the MODs who deserve a very well recognized tribute. Well, finished my 'statement of intentions' I'll say that the Play-through is based on TSLRCM 1.8.5 + M4-78EP ---------------------------------------------------------------- Let's start After a fresh installation of KotOR 2 - TSL and before start the Playthrough Order of Installation 01 - Patch 1.0b (I think that my recently recovered english version of TSL is the US version and the Patch 1.0a can't be applied. Anyway you can found all Patches and versions here at DS). 02 - HQ Movies Update Patch (all 6 parts) 1.0 By Sith Holocron (according to the description it must be installed before than TSLRCM) https://deadlystream.com/files/file/813-hq-movies-update-patch-all-6-parts/ Statement: I wanted install HQ Music Update Patch 1.0 By Sith Holocron but I realize too late I had to do it before install TSLRCM and obviously other MODs. I'm sorry. Next time. https://deadlystream.com/files/file/814-hq-music-update-patch/ 03 - TSL Restored Content Mod 1.8.5 By zbyl2 https://deadlystream.com/files/file/578-tsl-restored-content-mod/ 04 - M4-78 Enhancement Project 1.5 By zbyl2 https://deadlystream.com/files/file/277-m4-78-enhancement-project/ 05 - KOTOR 2 Community Patch 1.4 By A Future Pilot https://deadlystream.com/files/file/1280-kotor-2-community-patch/ -------------------------------------------------------------------- BTW!!!!!!!!!!!! I don't like NOTHING that now the Posts merge itselfs. In any case, give that option to the users would be nice enough. -------------------------------------------------------------------- (Ara ve quan el pengen) Well, this a combination of three MODs that reskin the interior of the Ebon Hawk and all of them are 'Drag and Drop' files. Some files coincide the name so you have to choose which file you like. If someone is interested I can upload the list I made. 04a - Hi-res Ebon Hawk By FF97 https://deadlystream.com/files/file/500-hi-res-ebon-hawk/?tab=comments 04b - The EbonHawk-HDTP R1 By desmasic https://deadlystream.com/files/file/442-the-ebonhawk-hdtp/?tab=comments#comment-6942 04c - Ebon Hawk Texture Enhancement 1.0 By Fallen Guardian https://deadlystream.com/files/file/282-ebon-hawk-texture-enhancement/ Statement: As I am still testing things and I'm still at the Prologue (no real Play-through yet) with the damaged surrounds of the EH, I'll wait to install MODs in which I am very interested as 'KOTOR2 Animated Ebon Hawk Monitors (not including Galaxy Map) 1.1' by Sith Holocron and Xarwarz, or 'KOTOR2 More Subtle Animated Ebon Hawk Monitors (still not including Galaxy Map) 1.2' by Sith Holocron and Dark Hope (they are not complementary as I thought the first time). -------------------------------------------------------------------------- NOTE / Add-on about reskin of the Ebon Hawk. I've included some files of the MOD 'KOTOR2 Animated Ebon Hawk Monitors (not including Galaxy Map) 1.1' although I want to see the REAL effect with the Hawk repaired and, as all are Drag and Drop files MODs I still can change some things easily. I don't want overload the thread with unnecessary screenshots so I'll wait until later to upload them. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- I've made some adjustments at my combination of files. I've removed 'CM_Baremetal.tga', changed some files related with screens and added some '.txi' files that @ebmar uploaded some time ago (you can find them within the posts of https://deadlystream.com/files/file/442-the-ebonhawk-hdtp/?tab=comments#comment-6942). This is the result, the screenshots diminishes the effect, you'd HAVE to see it in game!!!!! ! ---------------------------------------------------------------------- 05 - Prologue sensor droids fix By danil-ch https://deadlystream.com/files/file/430-prologue-sensor-droids-fix/?tab=comments A funny MOD. I like a lot. 06 - Improved Peragus Asteroid Fields 1.2 By Vasilii Zaytsev https://deadlystream.com/files/file/321-improved-peragus-asteroid-fields/ 07 - [TSL] High Quality Starfields and Nebulas 1.3 By Kexikus https://deadlystream.com/files/file/492-tsl-high-quality-starfields-and-nebulas/?tab=comments Statement: I've found different files related with Peragus so I've installed both MODs 08 - Darth Sapien's Presents T3M4 HD 2k 1.00 By Darth_Sapiens https://deadlystream.com/files/file/514-darth-sapiens-presents-t3m4-hd-2k/?tab=comments Really a very nice, nice, nice work with T3-M4. So, here it is but for obvious reasons I can't see nothing yet. EDIT / Add on: A very useful and necessary improvement. 10 - Badass Bastila 1.0 By Medragor-des https://deadlystream.com/files/file/510-badass-bastila/?tab=comments What can I say? I fell in love with Bastila in the first KotOR and this a great work. 11 - Effixian's Alternative Female Underwear By Effix https://deadlystream.com/files/file/960-effixians-alternative-female-underwear/?tab=comments I had the alternative of 'Handmaiden-style Undies For Female PCs' By Shem https://deadlystream.com/files/file/730-handmaiden-style-undies-for-female-pcs/?tab=comments But I liked the first one more. 12 - Custom Starting Feats 1.1 By rkr87 https://deadlystream.com/files/file/1419-custom-starting-feats/ A very good start of the game. 13 - Implant Feat Restoration 1.1 By N-DReW25 https://deadlystream.com/files/file/1047-implant-feat-restoration/?tab=comments Statement: The idea of to save precious Attributes Points destined to increase the Constitution only for wear powerful implants is just great. 14 - High-Level Force Powers 2.0 + Update By Stoffe https://deadlystream.com/files/file/832-high-level-force-powers/ I am looking forward to seeing what can I do with my new Powers. -----------------------------------------------

These original skybox for M4-78, as intended by Obsidian, was briefly seen in Kotor 2's E3 trailer. In 2008, Quanon created a new skybox for Stoney’s original M4-78 mod. These skyboxes had higher quality buildings, a darker wine-brown sky and visible green radiation. The Skybox you see in M4-78EP today was created by Stoney himself, these skyboxes have the background of a light orange sky with tall buildings. This is the skybox you see in the most up to date version of M4-78EP. Installation: First, make sure you have M4-78EP 1.5 installed for the best playing experience! Follow the instructions on the M4-78EP download page to install M4-78EP. https://deadlystream.com/files/file/277-m4-78-enhancement-project/ Warning: It is advised that you do NOT use the Steam Workshop version of TSLRCM or M4-78EP due to compatibility issues with other mods. If you do choose to use the Steam Workshop, you will need to install this mod into your Steam Workshop Override folder instead! Hello! This mod replaces the Ebon Hawk landing and takeoff movies included with the mod M4-78ep. Stoney originaly made these movies years ago with 3Ds Max. I decided to remake them using my student version of Autodesk Maya to make them look more consistent with the other Ebon Hawk movies in the game. The audio was created using sounds from Soundjay.com and the Star Wars films, and includes original music by the user Delator. This mod includes a regular version of the landing and takeoff movies as well as upscaled versions to match the High Quality Movies Patch. Don't want to wait to watch these movies? Preview them on YouTube first, at REQUIREMENTS TSLRCM and M4-78ep. If you don't have these, they're available here at DeadlyStream. Optional: The High Quality Movie Patch on kotorfiles.com INSTALLATION -(optional) Backup the files DroMov02.bik and DroMov04.bik in the Movies folder of TSL's main directory -Drop the DroMov02.bik and DroMov04.bik into the Movies folder of TSL's main directory -If you have the High Quality Movies Patch, use the files in the Upscaled folder included with this mod UNINSTALLATION -Restore the backups you made of the original movies from the M4-78ep mod THANX Thanks to Adobe Photoshop, Gmax, MDLOps, Autodesk Maya Student Version, Soundjay.com, Audacity, Sony Vegas, and Rad Video Tools. Special Thanks to Stoney for his work on the original movies, to Sith Holocron for all his help and support with this mod, to Delator for his original music, and to the rest of the M4-78ep team!
  5. Hello everyone, This is my first post so I apologize in advance if this question has already been answered. Although it seems like I have searched everywhere without still finding my answer. For starters, I'm running a 2014 MacBook Pro.I have purchased Kotor 2 through steam and I'm very interested in applying as many mods as possible. From what I have read so far, seems as if TSLRCM is a must. I would also like to run M4-78EP and maybe a few more mods which bring in new content (Jedi temple/Jedi enclave and so on). I would also love to set up the widescreen UI if at all possible. Now from what I've seen so far, we are only able to subscribe to 5 mods on steam max or else the game will crash. I know that other mods can be installed manually but that's where I'm stuck. I read and watched countless forums and videos but nothing seems to be specific enough. What I mean by this is: the people who create these often won't included the specific steps required to move forward. I tried installing wineskin which was recommended but it skipped things like: what version, what engine, what it should look like and so on. (This is my first time doing something like this so every basic step is important) It has been a few weeks since I've purchased the game but I refuse to play it without adding some mods. Which bring me to my two questions: For mac users out there, are you able to simply just subscribe to at least TSLRCM 1.8.5, M4-78EP, and the widescreen UI on steam? Or can I manually install them without the use of anything like wineskin. And.... Will all three of those mods be compatible together? Thanks in advance.
  6. Quick question: I am working on a VO for a specific droid. I have been able to find and extract the audio files (which was the EASY part)... I am unable to find the actual dialog entries anywhere. I am looking for the dialog entries for the Black Market Droid on M4-78. I went digging using the KOTOR toolset, but I haven't been able to find it anywhere, which tells me that I just don't know where and/or how to look. Also, to assuage any permissions concerns: I plan on submitting it to the M4-78EP modders first in order to obtain permission. If they do not like what they hear, then obviously they can deny permission to add to their already stellar mod. Any clarification and helpful advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks guys! I really want to be a part of all of this :-)

  9. Today I am excited to announce; 1.8.3 is released. M4-78EP's update is released. For some background, M4-78EP's release was 1 year and 3 months ago. It has been 1 year and 3 months since TSLRCM 1.8.2 was released. What an exciting few years it has been for us! KoTOR 2 is a little over 9 years old, but the modding community still runs strong. Give KOTOR2 a happy 10th birthday next year, it deserves it! Let me take this time to thank all our followers; All the people who made this possible, who downloaded our mod, gave us feedback and spread word of TSLCRM into the world, all of our fans who voted us 10th in mod of the year 2012 and honorary mod of 2013, and of course all of the fans looking forward to M4-78EP. Once of our proudest moments and maybe the best reward of all is how Chris Avellone (@ChrisAvellone) himself tweeted about our 1.8 release! To reminisce a little, this all started with the usual response to complaints about TSLRP, which was that people should make their own mod, then they could complain. 2 modders, Stoney and Zbyl2 (with help from Jinger and a few others), did just that. TSLRCM was first released to the public on 24 September 2009. The release was version 1.4 and was labeled as a public beta, being a playable mod with few to no game breaking bugs. 1.4 was improved by patches 1.4a, 1.4b, 1.4c, and 1.4d. At this point, animator Savvy30039 decided to contribute her lean animation to the restoration, which was included in 1.4d. On 15 march 2010 was the release of TSLRCM 1.5. A patch to the mod, 1.5a, was released shortly after to resolve some remaining bugs. Between 1.5 and 1.6 the development team was strengthened by Hassat Hunter (previously testing) and Varsity Puppet (previously some minor tweaks, now HK-Factory, Peragus and other areas). On June 24th, 2010, TSLRCM 1.6 was released, featuring various cut scene tweaks, dialog bug fixes and more. On October 16th, 2010, TSLRCM 1.7 was released, which features additional bug-fixes and other additions such as: the Visas-Nihilus movie using the in-game engine to play (rather than a pre-rendered BIK movie), Kreia's Battle for Telos Mod was integrated into the mod, the low-res BIK movies of the Dantooine battle replaced with in- game ones, and an improved dialog.tlk mod integrated/improved upon (for the English version.) Almost a year has passed, but work still continued on 1.8, which is the biggest TSLRCM release yet. It was released on 24 july 2012. On 28 December 2012, after a long period of development, finally M4-78EP saw the light, adding a full grand planet to explore and experience more KOTOR2 gameplay in, and actually talk with Vash herself(alive as well), explaining some critical details about force bonds to the player, meanwhile uncovering the events which took place just before the Exile's arrival. Let's talk TSLRCM 1.8.3. As you can expect with the time it took, its considerable bigger than 1.8.1 and 1.8.2 combined. Don't expect major leaps though, 1.8's done pretty much everything possible to the game, instead 1.8.3 is just fixing all the tiny little snippets of little bugs that dare pop up from time to time. And even though we have been at it quite some time, there apparently are still vanilla issues around only to be found now. Like how messed up all the sound sets on the Ravager were, truthfully I hope after 1.8.3 there will be no need for a 1.8.4. Now let us shift gears to the M4-78EP update; Unlike TSLRCM 1.8.3, this patch is more than that; it is a true update, rather than a bug fixing patch. While many issues have been resolved, most of its development time has been used up on making new content, adding to existing content, and completely overhauling certain endgame cut scenes. While the change list for M4-78EP is quite minor, please understand the KoTOR’s game engine (Odyssey) is quite a pain to mod most of the time, so remember a lot of time and effort went into these changes.
