Causes the Repair skill to modify damage inflicted by Stun/Disable/Destroy Droid. SUMMARY Knowing how to fix something usually means you know how to break it too. This mod makes it so the damage dealt by Stun Droid and higher tier powers depends on the Force user’s Repair skill. Users with high Repair may deal significantly more damage than vanilla, while damage dealt by users with cross-class Repair will be limited. A way to make your tech enthusiast Jedi stand out in combat. DETAILS In vanilla, Stun/Disable/Destory Droid inflict damage equal/proportional to your character level. This mod changes the flat damage value to incorporate the Repair skill: damage = (level + 1.5*Repair)/2 With a Repair of 0, you deal half the vanilla damage. With a Repair equal to your character level, you inflict 25% more damage than vanilla. At double your level, you deal double damage. INSTALLATION To install, run TSLPatcher.exe. If spells.2da already exists in your override folder, an unaltered copy will be placed in the “backup” folder in the location of TSLPatcher.exe, along with a backup of dialog.tlk. UNINSTALLATION To uninstall, remove k_fp_stundr1rep.ncs, k_fp_stundr2rep.ncs, k_fp_stundr3rep.ncs, and spells.2da from your override folder. Replace dialog.tlk in the main game folder with the unaltered dialog.tlk in the backup folder. If a spells.2da was created inside the backup folder, move it to override. COMPATIBILITY Should be compatible with any mod that doesn’t affect the scripts for Stun Droid, Disable Droid, or Destroy Droid. As long as it’s installed after, this mod will override changes to those powers’ scripts only. PERMISSIONS Please do not reupload this mod. This mod makes it so Treat Injury modifies the vitality points gained from Force healing powers. SUMMARY The Treat Injury skill isn’t very useful for Force users, since medpacs become pretty much obsolete when you can heal with Force points. I wanted to make the skill more valuable to Jedi classes while rebalancing Force heals a bit. Now, Jedi will need to invest points into Treat Injury to be effective healers. Characters with low Treat Injury will heal less and may want to rely on other party members with high Treat Injury for healing, or advanced medpacs/life support kits. Lore-wise, it makes sense that a Jedi would need some understanding of the body’s healing process in order to heal effectively through the Force, and that some Jedi are more specialized in healing than others. This mod may make the game slightly more challenging on average, since a Treat Injury lower than your character level will lead to less VP healed compared to vanilla. See details below. DETAILS In vanilla, the number of vitality points you gain from Force healing is tied to your level and Wisdom/Charisma modifiers, plus a flat bonus of 5 VP from Heal and 15 VP from Improved and Master Heal. This mod replaces the character level modifier by the average of your level and Treat Injury skill. Here’s a breakdown of each power’s VP gain: Heal VANILLA: VP = WIS + CHA + level + 5 NEW: VP = WIS + CHA + (level + Treat Injury)/2 + 5 Improved Heal VANILLA: VP = WIS + CHA + level + 15 NEW: VP = WIS + CHA + (level + Treat Injury)/2 + 15 Master Heal VANILLA: VP = WIS + CHA + 2*level + 15 NEW: VP = WIS + CHA + level + Treat Injury + 15 With this mod, you’ll need a Treat Injury equal to your character level to heal the same amount as in vanilla. Points above or below this will increase or decrease the amount compared to vanilla. INSTALLATION To install, run TSLPatcher.exe. If spells.2da already exists in your override folder, an unaltered copy will be placed inside the “backup” folder in the location of TSLPatcher.exe, along with a backup of dialog.tlk. UNINSTALLATION To uninstall, remove k_fp_heal1ti.ncs, k_fp_heal2ti.ncs, k_fp_heal3ti.ncs, and spells.2da from your override folder. Party Tweaks Knights of the Old Republic II - The Sith Lords By ChaosRonin --------------------------------------------------- Overview --------------------------------------------------- This mod will do a few things: - Set all party members level to 1 when they join. - Set skills using their class templates (Skill Point Per LVL + INT)*4 to set initial skills using their original skill point placement as templates with two exceptions being the Handmaiden and Disciple as they have quite a few bonus skill points. - Fix any inconsistencies between Vitality/Force/Skill Points. - Set level 1 feats with an aim towards build freedom for the player while staying true to the character, hopefully no more redundant feats. - Set believable extra feats or force powers if characters come with more feats or force powers than their class levels allows with the exception of unique feats. Overall this mod allows you to have more control on how to build each party member and have less redundant abilities. Installation -------------------------------------------------- Copy files to Override folder. If using TLSRCM place the p_hanharr.utc file in the TSLRCM Compatibility folder instead. Compatibility -------------------------------------------------- This mod is currently not compatible with other mods that alter the same files unless they use TSL Patcher, in that case you can try loading my mod first then using the other mods TSL Patcher. I can not guarantee anything so do it at your own discretion. Also you need to start a new game or install this mod before loading an area where a party member will spawn. Uninstall -------------------------------------------------- Delete the 12 following files from your Override. - p_atton.utc - p_baodur.utc - p_disciple.utc - p_g0t0.utc - p_handmaiden.utc - p_hanharr.utc - p_hk47.utc - p_kreia.utc - p_mand.utc - p_mira.utc - p_t3m4.utc - p_visas.utc Permissions -------------------------------------------------- This mod can be uploaded or shared as long as I am credited. 7. Coming off of my first major project, K1 Companion Sidequest Rewards, my focus is still on gameplay/design enhancements for the first Kotor. Something that struck me during my most recent playthrough is how unimportant/tacked on skills feel. This next project's goal will be to further imbed skills into K1's gameplay, validating INT/Sent/Skill focused builds as a more meaningful choice for players. The outline for this project builds on the awesome work by @jc2 and their Improved Grenades mod. For the other skills, I have the following ideas (ascending rank in terms of perceived difficulty): Computer Use → "Unlocking" T3-M4's ability to act as an upgrade bench (ala my Sidequest Reward mod) Treat Injury → Swapping Canderous Implants (ala TSL) Repair → Custom skill challenge with T3-M4 to create unique items: Dual Wieldable Stun Batons Lightsaber variants (Reg/Short/Double) Unique Droid Items for T3-M4/HK-47 Recreate Revan's "Original" lightsaber Persuade → Make all* merchants adjust their prices based on persuade skill Awareness → Swap out all Sith assassin encounters ("Malak was most displeased...") with: Create some kind of trigger that initiates a cutscene/dialog Spawn in Sith assassins during scene, framed as though they came out of stealth If Awareness (per current party member) is less than X, they lose half their health Regular dialog/Regular combat (Potential; Spawn in more assassins based on player level/difficulty) I have a sense on how to approach all of these ideas except the last one...creating custom encounters is totally out of my current understanding. As always, if anyone has any tips/comments/warnings on any of the above, I am eager to hear them.

Mod Title: KOTOR2 Computer Use and Repair Skill Swap 1.1 Author: Mellowtron11 Description- Something that always bothered me from a lore perspective was the fact that the Consular got the repair skill and the Sentinel got computer use as part of their respective class skill sets. This is all fine from a balancing perspective, but I was always confused how a class that dedicates itself to research, diplomacy, and Force usage has a more practical worldly skill. In the same vein, Sentinels are considered to be slicers, but why aren’t they adept at repairing things as the lore suggests? On that note, I also thought that a Jedi career that includes researchers and historians within its ranks would probably be better handling computers than machinery. So, to keep everything balanced skill-wise, the Consular and its corresponding Prestige Classes (Master and Lord) now have Computer Use. The Sentinel and its corresponding Prestige classes (Watchman and Assassin) now have Repair as a class skill. I also made computer use a class skill for the Scoundrel and removed it from the scout’s skill list, similar to the Scoundrel and Scout classes from the Wizards of the Coast Star Wars RPG Core Rulebook. All classes mentioned in the changelog below will be affected for both your player character and your respective NPCs. E.g. Kreia and Atton will have Computer use, Visas will have repair, etc. Installation- Copy and paste or drag and drop the skills.2da and feat.2da files into your override folder. Uninstallation- Delete the associated skills.2da and feat.2da files from your override folder. Incompatibilities- Anything that also modifies the skills.2da and feat.2da files will probably not work. Known Bugs- None, but if you find any, please message me at Deadly Stream. Permissions- Please do not claim credit for this mod or redistribute it without the author’s explicit permission. Thanks- Bioware, Obsidian and Lucasarts for an amazing pair of RPG games. Fred Tetra for the Kotor Tool. Darthbdamen for answering my many questions on the skills.2da file. This is a very simple mod that changes the skill and feat progression to be more like Pathfinder than D&D3.5. The big difference in Pathfinder is that all classes get a feat every other level by default. Also, one can always buy skills up to one's level with one point per skill level regardless of class. This gives you much more flexibility regarding character creation, though you are unfortunately still heavily limited by your class+int modifier (poor Fighters). What I've done is give all combat classes one feat per level, as the Fighter. All others receive one every other level. All skills are now class skills for every class, with obvious exceptions like Treat Injury for droids.
