A Mod for Star Wars Knights of The Old Republic Author: N-DReW25 0.4.0 Demo Release Date: 09.03.2024 Installation: Please install the K1 Community Patch FIRST before this mod! No exceptions! Simply click on the INSTALL.exe, click install and sit back and watch the TSLPatcher do its magic. Description: The Kotor 1 Community Patch (K1CP) is the biggest bug fix mod for Kotor 1 and is arguably the number one go-to mod for Kotor 1, similar to TSLRCM for Kotor 2. The Kotor 1 Restoration (K1R) mod is NOT compatible with the K1CP and as such players have to pick between hundreds of bug fixes offered by the K1CP or the restored content of K1R, they couldn't pick both... until now! Restored Content for K1CP is a restoration mod for Kotor 1 which has been developed for use alongside the K1CP mod, with this mod installed you shall experience restored content alongside the bug fixes of the K1CP mod. This mod also does not follow the same "rules" as K1R, that means this mod might restore cut content that K1R didn't restore either because the original K1R Dev Team didn't want to restore it or because they didn't know about it. This mod is an INDEPENDENT project developed by a single modder (and any future contributors) with no connection to the original K1R mod, everything in this mod was developed from scratch as getting permission to use K1R assets is impossible due to the disappearance of the K1R team leader. This mod is a DEMO meaning it does not restore all the cut content that K1R restores, future updates shall add more content and fix any bugs present in the mod. Whilst this mod is a Demo, it is not necessarily incomplete... what little restored content this mod has to offer is complete and will not standout as unfinished (in terms of the mod itself, your opinion on the cut content might be different). If you have feedback or any bugs to report for the next update, I urge you to report these to me so that the Restored Content for K1CP mod may be the best it can be! What's restored: Known Bugs: This mod shouldn't have any bugs but if there are please report them to me on Deadlystream. Incompatibilities: To be added! Permissions: Do NOT claim credit for this mod and do not use assets from this mod without my permission. Thanks to: SithRevan (RIP): Beginning the restoration effort for K1! K1R Team: For developing the original K1R mod! Salk: For valuable feedback! Sith Holocron: For the mod logo! Leilukin: For granting me permission to integrate her Juhani Dialogue Restoration mod into the RC-K1CP! ElevenLabs Website: For the custom AI VO service! THE SITH LORDS RESTORED CONTENT MOD ADD-ON: GenoHaradan Legacy 1.0.1 1. Description: ---------- This mod adds the GenoHaradan from the first Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic to its sequel. The GenoHaradan is an ancient secretive guild of assassins who work in the shadows operating to keep the Republic intact, however, following the Jedi Civil War something has changed the GenoHaradan, they no longer seek to kill the enemies of the Republic, instead they have focused all their energies into eliminating the once glorious Jedi Order who have stood as the guardians of peace and justice in the Republic for thousands of years for unknown reasons. While this version is complete, it is far from final. Similar to M4-78, at some point, the GenoHaradan Legacy will be improved with an improved story as an “Enhancement Project” as M4-78 did. Expect possible updates and patches to come. This mod also includes optional fixes for a few bugs and other problems not fixed by the Restored Content mod here and there but there won’t be too many of them. 2. Installation: ---------- 1. First, you will need to get the most up-to-date version of TSL Restored Content Mod (TSLRCM 1.8.5). It's available for download here: http://deadlystream.com/forum/files/file/578-tsl-restored-content-mod/ Please note that GenoHaradan Legacy will NOT work AT ALL without TSLRCM. 2. Follow TSLRCM's installation instructions. 3. Once TSLRCM is successfully installed, run the GenoHaradan Legacy Double TSLPatcher.exe. A menu will pop asking you which installation you want to install. To install the GenoHaradan Legacy, click on the ‘MAIN’ option and click install. If you wish to install the optional fixes be sure to rerun the TSLPatcher.exe and install whichever fix you like (You may need to do this several times to install all fixes) 4. While I try my best to make this mod as bug-free as possible, with the many options of KOTOR2 and my, at the moment, one man testing team it can happen that bugs, including critical ones, pass through. Please feel free to report any bugs and I will fix them. 5. Install any compatible mods you desire now. 3. FAQ / Known Issues --------- Q: When will GenoHaradan Legacy EP be released A: Not for a long time. "Release dates are for those that don't care about quality in mods"- Sith Holocron Q: Will your mod work on existing saves: A: A new game or a save before Citadel Station with the TSLRCM mod should work but I'm not too sure about Citadel Station saves and I'm sure Nar Shadda saves won't work. Q: Will your mod work on my Linux or Mac?: A: I see no reason why it shouldn't work on those OS. If you manage to either use or find an alternative to the TSLPatcher and manage to install the mod then it should work. Q: Will you upload the full mod to the Steam Workshop? A: For now, the answer is no because I'm not sure how the workshop works and if it can even support a mod like mine. In the far future, if this mod becomes popular enough, I might see if a TSLRCM+M4-78+GenoHaradan Legacy EP bundle would be possible Q: Will you update this mod again/Will you add... A: Most likely yes! This version will probably not be the last. If you find a bug please be sure to report it and leave feedback! Q: Will your mod work on my Xbox?: A: No Q: Can I play this mod in Vanilla: A: No! This mod requires TSLRCM to work Q: What makes your mod different from previous TSL GenoHaradan mods such as the unreleased The Sith Lords Restoration Project by Team Gizka and The GenoHaradan Beta by Exile007 A: The Dessicus boss fight in Exile007’s mod was inspired by the TSLRP boss fight but improved upon to make it less confusing, in my mod, I further improve upon Exile007’s work and made his work compatible with The Sith Lords Restored Content Mod 4. 5. Finally I deigned to try the 1.8.6 content restoration mod on kotor 2 xbox 360, I applied what I learned in my mod porting processes and it seems that the mod works, for now I have only completed Peragus II, but I already received the equipment deactivated from Peragus II, I already saw the new heads for the created characters, I already saw the cut scenes and dialogues from Peragus II, and on my arrival in Telos IV I already saw the change in the maiden model, as I have been busy and I was testing mods for kotor 1 just this is what I've been able to advance, but I hope I don't have problems, use tga2tpc-4.0.0-ia32 to pass the textures from tga to tpc and then rename them so that they are now txb and run More optimal on xbox, I also used mdledit_v1.0.3 to pass the models from pc to xbox, although I couldn't convert the s_male02.mdl file to xbox, the tool hangs when loading it, I hope it doesn't cause complications, otherwise you should find out how to adapt this file, as I progress I will share more print and progress, sorry for my bad English I use a translator Edit:After reviewing it seems that the reasons why the game is damaged is due to incompatibility with the module folder, I used only the override and I was able to continue, I am testing with override and the rest of the folders and it seems to work

THE ONLY EXCEPTION SO FAR IS KAINZORUS PRIME'S NPC OVERHAUL... The KotOR 1 Restoration Mod is an attempt to restore almost all the content that was cut from the game Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic by BioWare Corp. Of course, these restorations will be within reason and things that were cut because they did not fit with the plot, and cannot be made to fit with the plot, will most definitley NOT be restored. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ » INTEGRATED MODS ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ » RESTORED CONTENT ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ » BUG FIXES/CHANGE LOG FOR 1.2 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ »» Original game: »» K1R Bugs: ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ » BUG FIXES/CHANGE LOG FOR 1.1 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ There weren't too many bugs in KotOR 1, thus there is such a short list. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ » INSTALLATION ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ An installation which involves the TSL Patcher has been made ready for your use and is the simplest and easiest way to carry out installation. Alternatively, a secondary installer has been made for convenience. It will not patch the files like the TSL Patcher will, but it should be less of a headache for most users. HOWEVER, IT WILL NEED TO BE INSTALLED BEFORE ANY OTHER MODS!!! Note: The K1R team is not responsible for any incompatibility issues that may arise from the use of this mod in conjunction with other mods. Also, in order to provide the best feedback for us we recommend that you play K1R with NO other mods installed. Note 2: If using the TSL Patcher AND your game is in English, before installing, copy the dialog.tlk file bundled with this package into the KotOR directory. This will give you the grammar and typo fixes to the vanilla text. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ »»»» TSL PATCHER INSTALLATION ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ 1) Double click K1R_1.2_Installer.exe found in the main directory of the unpacked folder. 2) Click the button labeled Install Mod. 3) Click yes to the box that'll pop up... if you wish to proceed with installation. 4) Watch as all the little file names and progress reports scroll by and wait until the installer is complete. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ » BUG REPORTING ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ There are 2 ways to report bugs: 1: Post your issues in the Bug Reporting Thread. 2: PM your issues to Fair Strides at Deadlystream. In KotOR 2, you would originally stumble upon the body of a Jedi named Nebelish while investigating the tomb of an ancient Sith Lord on Korriban. However, this "Nebelish" actually looked a lot like Dustil Onasi. Turns out, Obsidian originally planned to have Dustil in the tomb but they ended up cutting the content. Now when TSLRCM came along they never restored this because Jason Mardsen, Dustil's voice actor, never recorded any lines for the part. Now I thought it a shame that Dustil couldn't have been restored, so I set about restoring him. And, thanks to some voice overs done by Zhaboka, I have finished my task. So essentially, this mod restores Dustil to KotOR II. TSLRCM Compatible: Yes Please go to the Nexus Mods link to see further screenshots. ...Expand your arsenal with the newly unearthed lost artifacts of the Old Republic... Welcome! I gladly present this mod which restores nearly all the equipable items cut from KotOR due to some reason or another. Most of them are pretty standard fare, but they no doubt bring even more variety to the game's inventory and are absolutely full of flavour, I'm sure you restoration afficionados out there will appreciate it. While the items themselves are official, come up by BioWare, their implementation was done at my discretion, though I did take care to follow developer notes wherever I could find them. Some small features have been brought over from Misc. Nitpicks (visit to see details) INSTALLING Run the TSLPatcher and choose between one of the two options, the default package or the "Plus" package. The latter includes some tasteful (disclaimer: bias) changes done by me and more restorations of items I deemed useless or redundant (ie: Teta's Royal Band). I should warn you to choose your option carefully because you'll only be able to switch it after uninstalling the previous one clean, which for most mods with module injections, if not done right away with the proper backups will turn from a tedious matter to a near impossible one. In most cases this can only be cleanly achieved though a reinstall of the game. I also recommend installing my own K1 Armor Nitpicks or JC's Mandalorian Armor for K1 (these are compatible with each other by the way) as they will compliment this mod well. All icons were designed to look good alongside vanilla ones and I won't be doing high resolution versions for them. If the authors of any HD icon packs want to include icons for this mod they're hereby allowed to, I'll link them here. Ignore any warnings about skipping files during installation, that's normal patcher procedure. Errors are not, however. COMPATIBILITY "Weapons & Armor, Uncut" is compatible with the K1 Community Patch but I wouldn't advise to install it alongside the Restoration Project due to overlaps. If using the "Plus" install then any mod that changes any .uti files inside this tslpatchdata folder will be overwritten in that regard. I can't vouch for virtually every mod in existence (were you expecting me to do that?) but all my other stuff is compatible. This mod only works with the English version of Knights of the Old Republic. I did not use string references anywhere, but if there is enough demand for localization support then I will redo it that way and leave the translation to the interested party. 12. View File Dustil Restoration In KotOR 2, you would originally stumble upon the body of a Jedi named Nebelish while investigating the tomb of an ancient Sith Lord on Korriban. A Mod for Star Wars Knights of The Old Republic II The Sith Lords Author: N-DReW25 Release Date: 17.03.2017 Installation: Double Click the TSLPatcher.exe and let it do its magic Uninstallation: Remove or Delete the "p_baodur.utc", "p_disciple.utc", "p_handmaiden.utc", "p_hk47.utc" and "p_mand.utc". When the TSLPatcher installs the mod correctly it generates a backups folder within the Heavy Weapons Feat Restoration folder that contains the TSLPatcher. Open the backups folder and copy the "baseitems.2da" and "feat.2da" to the override folder overriding the Heavy Weapons Feat Restoration files If you have any problems be sure to contact me for support Description: Kotor 2 is known for a ton of cut content. The TSLRCM restores most of that content but there were some they left behind due to it being not restorable or not necessary. However, if you have sharp eyes you might notice the Heavy Weapons Feats are not in game, instead heavy repeating blasters have the blaster rifle feat instead. This is likely intentional by Obsidian as a heavy repeating blaster is technically a blaster rifle but when I discovered the icons I made it my priority to restore this small bit of cut content that TSLRCM doesn't even mention. WARNING: In the TSLPatcher I had an error message saying "Warning: Invalid column label "File1" encountered! Skipping entry..."! I have no idea what this means but it doesn't look to be too bad in game. If any problems do arise or if you know the reason behind this message please tell me immediately so I can hope to fix it Currently, only Bao Dur, Handmaiden, Disciple, HK-47 and Mandalore have the feats. If you want your main character to have the feats you must give it to them on the level up screen Also, ALL heavy repeating blasters will require this new feat instead of the Blaster Rifle Feat. This means there is a low chance of an NPC having no weapon since it doesn't have the new feat and cannot wield his heavy repeating blaster. If you spot these please let me know so I can fix them Recommendations: I highly recommend using Kainzorus Prime's TSL Fixed Proficiency/Focus Feat mod in conjunction with this one- http://deadlystream.com/forum/files/file/420-tsl-fixed-proficiencyfocus-feat-icons/ Known Bugs: this mod shouldn't have bugs but if there is Just PM me on Deadlystream. 14. This is a piece of cut content that was not restored in TSLRCM. This feature is probably unnecessary thus why it was cut, for anyone who is interested this blog will read out how this section of cut content was going to play out (I may, at times, need to guess what was going to happen to make this make sense as this is content clearly unfinished). In Vanilla and TSLRCM, Bao Dur found the location of Atris' academy through a computer terminal on the landing pad. Through the terminal, he was able to hack into the Force Field Network. In this cut content, the terminal is not on the Landing Platform but rather it is the terminal in Chodo Habats office. Once you defeat the mercs and go onto the empty landing platform Bao Dur's dialogue would go something along the lines of Bao Dur: "The freighter's not here. We'll have to enter the underground ruins and look for the military escape shuttle. The entrance is at the south end of the compound." Player: "How do you know the shuttle will be there?" Bao Dur: "I don't, but that's not going to stop me. I'm getting back to Citadel Station if I have to build a new ship myself." If you spoke with Bao Dur after this he'd reply with Bao Dur: "We can talk later. Right now we've got to find a way back to Citadel Station." The Military Base would play out normal, the player would take the Shuttle from the Military Base back to the Hangar of wherever you left whether that be the Ithorian or Czerka Hangar (Please note there is no movie for a Telos Shuttle landing on the Citadel, if someone did make this a mod it'd have to reverse the takeoff video to make it appear as if it is landing though then an NPC in the background of the video would walk backwards though this NPC "may" be able to be edited out). As the player would have no idea where the ship is this is why they'd come back and not to the Polar Region. On the Citadel you could, if you wanted to, talk to Grenn where he'd say his vanilla "So you have returned" lines though only this time he'd say them much earlier than in Vanilla as you return earlier. When you arrive at the Ithorian HQ Chodo would have some new lines if Bao is in the party, without him in the party you'd be stuck until he is in the party. Chodo: "Ah, Bao-Dur. I heard you'd returned. This pleases me." Bao Dur: "Good to see you again. Have you already heard about Czerka's operations on Telos?" Chodo: "I had. Moza has been in session with the Telosian Council regarding some Czerka files your new companion helped us acquire." Chodo: "Dol Grenn interrupted with news of what you'd encountered, and Moza sent word immediately. It seems that Czerka's days here are finally at an end." Bao Dur: "I would hope so." Bao Dur: "Come. The Ithorian's computer system is hooked up the Restoration Zone Grid and shield network. Let's find your ship." Presumably, if you helped Czerka Chodo would deliver some news along the lines of "things are going bad" and "we can't seem to be able to stop Czerka". None of the Czerka dialogue was written as it's all incomplete, whilst Chodo would dislike a Dark Sided Exile Chodo would still tolerate his/her presence in his own HQ, especially if his own friend Bao-Dur is with him so I have little doubt that a Dark Sider would still need to come back to Chodo to gain access to the shield network (The other only alternative is Jana Lorso as one can assume she has access to the Czerka controlled restoration zones herself, however, in vanilla Bao-Dur shows distaste for Czerka and in cut content Jana Lorso betrayed Bao-Dur and almost had him killed, this cut dialogue will be released in one of my upcoming mods). Once you interact with the terminal Bao Dur would have his dialogue with the terminal about finding the power interference in the Polar Region minus the dialogue of having to go into the Military Base as in vanilla on the landing platform. Once you had completed this you were then meant to return to the shuttle either in the Ithorian or Czerka Hangar. It is a possibility, yet unconfirmed, that once you finished up with the terminal you would hear an announcement over the loudspeakers from Jana Lorso. "Attention, Citadel Station. This is Jana Lorso, your Czerka branch's Executive Officer." "As you may know, Republic negotiations with Onderon have deteriorated of late. Czerka entered Citadel Station in the hopes of resolving the situation for the good of Telos." "I regret to inform you that the Telosian government, with the aid of the Ithorians, has entered an anti-Republic treaty with Onderon." "In order to protect the Republic's investment in Citadel Station and for the betterment of Telos, Czerka has been forced to assume command of the station." "Until Republic forces arrive to formally depose the Telosian Council and restore order, Citadel Station will remain under Czerka control." "This should not affect your daily affairs. Please go about your business as usual. Thank you for your cooperation." This is related to another piece of cut content I will detail in another blog as I have no reason to confirm or deny that this would happen right now during this section of cut content. This could of, for all I know, happened once you finished Telos completely and if you helped Vaklu on Onderon. Once you leave the station the HK-50 droids would arrive in the Bay Control area and presumably kill the Ithorian or Duros inside and have the exact cutscene as they have in the Military Base aka they send a squad out to the Polar Region to kill you. If the Ithorian is killed in the Bay Control you won't be able to talk to him if you want to steal the Prototype shield for Samhan Dobo (Despite this, you will still be able to complete the quest). And that is the "Bao-Dur's return to Citadel Station" cut content. Feel free to leave opinions on this down bellow (how you feel about the content, was it a good idea to have this cut, should TSLRCM include this, should this be it's own mod) and also let me know whether or not I should write up any more explanations for cut content.

Not really a mod, more of a modding resource. Here I've gathered the 7 most useful 'lost' modules for KotOR 1 - that is, modules that had no .rim files, and were essentially just room models in the game files. Why do I say 'most useful'? There are a few more - one of which is a slice of corridor, and several bits of the Unknown World temple-top, but none of these are much different or much more useful than the already existing modules, or the ones I have packaged here. Neither are they particularly exemplary. And so, here they are. I would guess that the modules' functions would be: In 2006-7, I found a variety of 'lost' modules in KotOR I, which I released as a pack. This consisted mainly of areas for which area models, walkmesh and lightmaps existed in the game files, but no module file. I complied these for use. Shortly aftewards I found around three others for TSL, which I intended to release around the time of my release of another mod of mine. The mod got delayed, and I forgot about the lost modules for a long time, until reminded by VarsityPuppet. Unlike the KotOR I set, these don't appear to have been made for areas which were then unused, but were probably for test effects, or similar purposes. They are: 000test - Empty, box-shaped room. The camera clips through the walls, like it does in most custom modules. 000trl - Small, empty area with a foggy floor. Perhaps has something to do with the main menu, when completed by a character with the Sith Lord prestige class? 999dia - Very large, flat plane, with walkmesh and lighting. Perhaps a test? Usage and credit I make no claim over usage - you may create and upload your own versions of this mod however and wherever you like - but please credit me appropriately. Please also do not upload or claim credit for an unmodified version of this mod elsewhere. It's just rude.
  17. Hey everybody. I'm relatively new to Deadly Stream, although not to KOTOR/TSL and modding the games in general, so I hope that this is in the correct forum. I recently heard somewhere that Yuthura Ban has cut dialogue that would imply that she could be recruited if Juhani was dead. Presumably, this would mean that she is still a dark jedi, although I can't say for certain. I wanted to know if anyone could fact-check this and determine A) if Yuthura was once intended to be a party member, and how much could be salvaged and restored. Are there voice overs? Lines from her as a companion or just in the process of recruiting her? A side-quest? Also, for future reference, how would I go about checking that myself? Thanks!

  21. File Name: [TSL] Lost Modules Pack File Submitter: InSidious File Submitted: 05 Nov 2016 File Category: Modder's Resources Not really a mod, more of a modding resource. Click here to download this file
  22. Greetings to all. Was listening through ..\StreamVoices\GBL files, and found certain dialogue lines from Kreia and Visas. Spoilers I guess (highlight to view): Kreia: " Are you ready for more combat training?" "Very well, let us see the miraluka. We will require her assistance" Also she tells you to not waste her time, If you don't want to fight. VIsas: "This is the second time you have showed me mercy.." and other lines. Then Visas trains you lightsaber combat without Kreia's supervision. (Haven't figured out how to do "spoiler" thing properly, sorry.) Does this all imply that there was supposed to be a *second* spar practice with Visas? Is it in plans to restore, and is it possible to restore? Or is it already in the game and I just haven't bumped into it? Thank you.
  23. I downloaded the Extended Enclave mod, the Extended Carth meeting, and the Alternate Ending, and the instructions say to put the files wherever you like, but when I tried to put it into my Downloads folder, an error occurred. Does anyone know what folder these mods are supposed to go into?
