  1. View File Expanded Galaxy Demo Keep in mind this is still a demo / early access for a project that is insanely oversized and may never be fully completed, so probably best for most users to avoid this project / mod for the time being until I have cleared things up a bit more. But feel free to check it out if you wish. The goal of the Expanded Galaxy Project is to provide as much additional content for both games as possible. NOTE : The current included readme is outdated, so the installation instructions are included below. Installation steps for the project. #0 Install KotOR2. #1 Install Official 1.0b Patch ( Steam users don't need this ) https://deadlystream.com/files/file/812-official-10b-patch/ #2 Install TSLRCM 2022 https://deadlystream.com/files/file/578-tsl-restored-content-mod #3 Install M478EP 1.5 https://deadlystream.com/files/file/277-m4-78-enhancement-project/ #4 Install Coruscant Jedi Temple https://deadlystream.com/files/file/585-coruscant-jedi-temple-by-deathdisco/ #5 Install Expanded Galaxy 1.1.8 ( Download included on this page ) This is all required for the project to work properly. INTRODUCTION I began this MOD (my first MOD, so be kindly with your criticism) almost by accident. Seeing that I could modify the image files "easily" (I'm joking), I thought that I could see the map of the Industrial Zone instead the map of the Environmental Zone shown on the original screens. I took a screenshot of the map in game and began to paste images and text and improving the result. Adding here, adding there ...and adding again. ---------------------------------------------------------------- DESCRIPTION This MOD replaces the screens and panels of the Diagnostic room and in the Research and Develop room, both located in the Industrial Zone, and the screens and panels at 2nd and 3rd Recharge Stations in the Environmental Zone of the M4-78 planet (the Diag room and the Recharge Stations use the same files, so you'll see the same screens and panels in these areas, personally I can do nothing about that). The screens at Diag room and Env Zone aren't really news. I've re-scaled them since the originals 256x256 to 512x512 and redone them repainting and outlining contours and lines and improving the lights. The texts on screen are redone as well and placed correctly in their windows. What is new now with this MOD is that the panels below the screens (re-scaled to 512x512 too) are improved and animated. In the Research and Develop Center room the panels have been re-scaled since its originals 256x256 to 512x512 and now are animated. In the main screens you'll be able to recognize some of the images I've included (even a more than notorious tribute) but the screens are new completely as well as most of what is shown. By now the same pairs of files (dro_tk 01/02, 03/04 tga and txi files) cover the six screens in the room. I think that the content is quite varied so as not to get bored. ----------------------------------------------------------------- INSTALLATION I've made separate folders for each area so you can choose install that area or do not. One folder is for the Research & Develop Center and the other for the Diag room and Environmental zone. Just drag and drop the files inside each folder in your Override folder. It's convenient that you make a backup of the original files before install it if finally you decide uninstall it. The files of the "After and Before" folder are not needed, they're only for to show the results. ----------------------------------------------------------------- UNINSTALL Remove the files listed from your Override folder and restore your backup files. 4. Hello everyone, This is my first post so I apologize in advance if this question has already been answered. Although it seems like I have searched everywhere without still finding my answer. For starters, I'm running a 2014 MacBook Pro.I have purchased Kotor 2 through steam and I'm very interested in applying as many mods as possible. From what I have read so far, seems as if TSLRCM is a must. I would also like to run M4-78EP and maybe a few more mods which bring in new content (Jedi temple/Jedi enclave and so on). I would also love to set up the widescreen UI if at all possible. Now from what I've seen so far, we are only able to subscribe to 5 mods on steam max or else the game will crash. I know that other mods can be installed manually but that's where I'm stuck. I read and watched countless forums and videos but nothing seems to be specific enough. What I mean by this is: the people who create these often won't included the specific steps required to move forward. I tried installing wineskin which was recommended but it skipped things like: what version, what engine, what it should look like and so on. (This is my first time doing something like this so every basic step is important) It has been a few weeks since I've purchased the game but I refuse to play it without adding some mods. Which bring me to my two questions: For mac users out there, are you able to simply just subscribe to at least TSLRCM 1.8.5, M4-78EP, and the widescreen UI on steam? Or can I manually install them without the use of anything like wineskin. And.... Will all three of those mods be compatible together? Thanks in advance.
  5. This is a piece of cut content that was not restored in TSLRCM. This feature is probably unnecessary thus why it was cut, for anyone who is interested this blog will read out how this section of cut content was going to play out (I may, at times, need to guess what was going to happen to make this make sense as this is content clearly unfinished). In Vanilla and TSLRCM, Bao Dur found the location of Atris' academy through a computer terminal on the landing pad. Through the terminal, he was able to hack into the Force Field Network. In this cut content, the terminal is not on the Landing Platform but rather it is the terminal in Chodo Habats office. Once you defeat the mercs and go onto the empty landing platform Bao Dur's dialogue would go something along the lines of Bao Dur: "The freighter's not here. We'll have to enter the underground ruins and look for the military escape shuttle. The entrance is at the south end of the compound." Player: "How do you know the shuttle will be there?" Bao Dur: "I don't, but that's not going to stop me. I'm getting back to Citadel Station if I have to build a new ship myself." If you spoke with Bao Dur after this he'd reply with Bao Dur: "We can talk later. Right now we've got to find a way back to Citadel Station." The Military Base would play out normal, the player would take the Shuttle from the Military Base back to the Hangar of wherever you left whether that be the Ithorian or Czerka Hangar (Please note there is no movie for a Telos Shuttle landing on the Citadel, if someone did make this a mod it'd have to reverse the takeoff video to make it appear as if it is landing though then an NPC in the background of the video would walk backwards though this NPC "may" be able to be edited out). As the player would have no idea where the ship is this is why they'd come back and not to the Polar Region. On the Citadel you could, if you wanted to, talk to Grenn where he'd say his vanilla "So you have returned" lines though only this time he'd say them much earlier than in Vanilla as you return earlier. When you arrive at the Ithorian HQ Chodo would have some new lines if Bao is in the party, without him in the party you'd be stuck until he is in the party. Chodo: "Ah, Bao-Dur. I heard you'd returned. This pleases me." Bao Dur: "Good to see you again. Have you already heard about Czerka's operations on Telos?" Chodo: "I had. Moza has been in session with the Telosian Council regarding some Czerka files your new companion helped us acquire." Chodo: "Dol Grenn interrupted with news of what you'd encountered, and Moza sent word immediately. It seems that Czerka's days here are finally at an end." Bao Dur: "I would hope so." Bao Dur: "Come. The Ithorian's computer system is hooked up the Restoration Zone Grid and shield network. Let's find your ship." Presumably, if you helped Czerka Chodo would deliver some news along the lines of "things are going bad" and "we can't seem to be able to stop Czerka". None of the Czerka dialogue was written as it's all incomplete, whilst Chodo would dislike a Dark Sided Exile Chodo would still tolerate his/her presence in his own HQ, especially if his own friend Bao-Dur is with him so I have little doubt that a Dark Sider would still need to come back to Chodo to gain access to the shield network (The other only alternative is Jana Lorso as one can assume she has access to the Czerka controlled restoration zones herself, however, in vanilla Bao-Dur shows distaste for Czerka and in cut content Jana Lorso betrayed Bao-Dur and almost had him killed, this cut dialogue will be released in one of my upcoming mods). Once you interact with the terminal Bao Dur would have his dialogue with the terminal about finding the power interference in the Polar Region minus the dialogue of having to go into the Military Base as in vanilla on the landing platform. Once you had completed this you were then meant to return to the shuttle either in the Ithorian or Czerka Hangar. It is a possibility, yet unconfirmed, that once you finished up with the terminal you would hear an announcement over the loudspeakers from Jana Lorso. "Attention, Citadel Station. This is Jana Lorso, your Czerka branch's Executive Officer." "As you may know, Republic negotiations with Onderon have deteriorated of late. Czerka entered Citadel Station in the hopes of resolving the situation for the good of Telos." "I regret to inform you that the Telosian government, with the aid of the Ithorians, has entered an anti-Republic treaty with Onderon." "In order to protect the Republic's investment in Citadel Station and for the betterment of Telos, Czerka has been forced to assume command of the station." "Until Republic forces arrive to formally depose the Telosian Council and restore order, Citadel Station will remain under Czerka control." "This should not affect your daily affairs. Please go about your business as usual. Thank you for your cooperation." This is related to another piece of cut content I will detail in another blog as I have no reason to confirm or deny that this would happen right now during this section of cut content. This could of, for all I know, happened once you finished Telos completely and if you helped Vaklu on Onderon. Once you leave the station the HK-50 droids would arrive in the Bay Control area and presumably kill the Ithorian or Duros inside and have the exact cutscene as they have in the Military Base aka they send a squad out to the Polar Region to kill you. If the Ithorian is killed in the Bay Control you won't be able to talk to him if you want to steal the Prototype shield for Samhan Dobo (Despite this, you will still be able to complete the quest). And that is the "Bao-Dur's return to Citadel Station" cut content. Feel free to leave opinions on this down bellow (how you feel about the content, was it a good idea to have this cut, should TSLRCM include this, should this be it's own mod) and also let me know whether or not I should write up any more explanations for cut content.

  7. View File TSLRCM Dialog Overhaul Description of "TSLRCM Dialog Overhaul": This modification strives to correct the most noticeable errors and inconsistencies found in the dialog.tlk file of The Sith Lords Restored Content Mod (TSLRCM). The majority of the alterations are based on modern corpora, mainly affecting written speech as well as menu screens, without changing their original meanings. Some lines underwent slightly advanced changes in order to be in line with their corresponding voice-over references while some others were changed to further add context to specific situations. As this modification was originally meant for personal use only, you will also find some of my attempts at revamping the punctuation of multiple dialog lines to create a more coherent reading experience in accordance to the sound references. That includes the removal of hesitations and interruptions that are not reflected in speech. In its current state, this modification doesn't fix description errors regarding item effects and character building. For full details on the changes, please refer to the included "changes.txt" file. Due to the sheer size of the dialogue script, there is a strong possibility that errors have been overlooked in the editing process. Feel free to report cases of potential overcorrection as well. Feedback is always dearly appreciated (on Deadly Stream via private message or comment on the mod's support page). Installation: TSLRCM 1.8.5 is required. Replace the dialog.tlk file located in your game's main directory with the one from the "overhaul" folder in order to apply the modification. Certain changes may only occur upon starting a new game. In case you may want to revert the changes, just copy the included original TSLRCM dialog.tlk into the game directory. 8. Hello all, my question is: would it be possible to add new prestige classes to the Sith Lords, with the respective skills, abilities, perks and character progress? If yes, what kind of details should I share?

  11. I just downloaded the game on steam with the latest version of the mod. Whenever I activate live video from another room, it just lags and there is no animation. Also on Peragus, after Krea spoke about the room with the mining droids in it, it would just lag and almost not respond at all until I look away from the door. 1. The problem began after playing for the first time. 2. Yes, I have the latest version. 3. Steam 4. The game is updated. 5. It is a fresh installation. 6. The only other mod I have installed is the one with the droid planet with Master Vash on it. 7. It happens whenever you look at another room using live feed from a terminal, or have a vision of the room ahead. The massive lag happens right after Krea's vision on Peragus after you pass the security desk. 8. I have not tried re-downloading the mod. 9. I have tried different save games. 10. I use Windows 10 Pro. The computer specs are: Intel i5 3320M 2.6 GHz, 4Gb of RAM, 64-bit OS
  12. When I fight through Freedon Nadd's tomb on Dxun- the part of the game where the party is made up entirely of non PC members- I can play through it fine up until I reach the gate where you go down into the main chamber and fight the four Sith Lords conducting the dark ritual at the bottom. Right as I pass through the gate, the game crashes, and the Names Differ: w_DblSbr_0011 w_dblsbr_001 error is left inside of my Kotor II folder. Any help would be appreciated. 13. Edit: I guess I need to do more reading and less jumping around asking questions, since by looking at the support topics on the download pages I can plainly see if they have TSLRCM compatibility or not. I rushed into TSL when I got it recently (haven’t played in 2 years, haven’t finished in 10) and installed a bunch of mods I found on reddit. During my playthrough I began discovering tons of other great mods on this site and wanted to know what kind of compatibility issues I’d run into with the ones not listed by Snigaroo. I’m working with a fresh install and TSLRCM 1.8.5 Any information you have regarding the compatibility between the mods in the Unknown Compatibility category and Known to be Compatible categories, and incompatibilities between one mod or the other in either category, will be greatly appreciated. 14. File Name: Heavy Weapons Feat Restoration File Submitter: N-DReW25 File Submitted: 17 Mar 2017 File Category: Mods TSLRCM Compatible: Yes A Mod for Star Wars Knights of The Old Republic II The Sith Lords Author: N-DReW25 Release Date: 17.03.2017 Installation: Double Click the TSLPatcher.exe and let it do its magic Uninstallation: Remove or Delete the "p_baodur.utc", "p_disciple.utc", "p_handmaiden.utc", "p_hk47.utc" and "p_mand.utc". When the TSLPatcher installs the mod correctly it generates a backups folder within the Heavy Weapons Feat Restoration folder that contains the TSLPatcher. Open the backups folder and copy the "baseitems.2da" and "feat.2da" to the override folder overriding the Heavy Weapons Feat Restoration files If you have any problems be sure to contact me for support Description: Kotor 2 is known for a ton of cut content. The TSLRCM restores most of that content but there were some they left behind due to it being not restorable or not necessary. However, if you have sharp eyes you might notice the Heavy Weapons Feats are not in game, instead heavy repeating blasters have the blaster rifle feat instead. This is likely intentional by Obsidian as a heavy repeating blaster is technically a blaster rifle but when I discovered the icons I made it my priority to restore this small bit of cut content that TSLRCM doesn't even mention. WARNING: In the TSLPatcher I had an error message saying "Warning: Invalid column label "File1" encountered! Skipping entry..."! I have no idea what this means but it doesn't look to be too bad in game. If any problems do arise or if you know the reason behind this message please tell me immediately so I can hope to fix it Currently, only Bao Dur, Handmaiden, Disciple, HK-47 and Mandalore have the feats. If you want your main character to have the feats you must give it to them on the level up screen Also, ALL heavy repeating blasters will require this new feat instead of the Blaster Rifle Feat. This means there is a low chance of an NPC having no weapon since it doesn't have the new feat and cannot wield his heavy repeating blaster. If you spot these please let me know so I can fix them Recommendations: I highly recommend using Kainzorus Prime's TSL Fixed Proficiency/Focus Feat mod in conjunction with this one- http://deadlystream.com/forum/files/file/420-tsl-fixed-proficiencyfocus-feat-icons/ Known Bugs: this mod shouldn't have bugs but if there is Just PM me on Deadlystream. Incompatibilities: The TSLPatcher will make it compatible with nearly any mod...but if you do find an incompatible mod please alert me so I can put it in the readme Permissions: Do NOT claim credit for this mod and do not use it in your own mods without my permission Thanks: Bioware for such an amazing game, Fred Tetra for Kotor Tool, Fair Strides for helping me get the Feat to appear on the character creation screen and everyone who downloads the mod. 16. File Name: TSLRCM Icon Fix File Submitter: N-DReW25 File Submitted: 05 Nov 2016 File Category: Skins TSLRCM Compatible: Yes A Mod for Star Wars Knights of The Old Republic II The Sith Lords Author: N-DReW25 Release Date: 5.11.2016 Installation: This mod requires TSLRCM to be installed FIRST so be sure to download and install it- http://deadlystream.com/forum/files/file/578-tsl-restored-content-mod/ After you installed it simply copy and Paste or Drag and Drop ALL the files within the "For Override" into your Star Wars Knights of The Old Republic 2 override folder It will ask you to overwrite so click yes when it does and it will be installed Uninstallation: Remove or Delete the files from your Star Wars Knights of The Old Republic override folder Description: TSLRCM is a mod that restores most of the cut content back into the game. While this mod does do an excellent job at doing so it also comes with a new logo which now reads "Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic II THE SITH LORDS RESTORED CONTENT MODIFICATION 1.8.5 (The 1.8.5 bit changes depending on the version you play). That new logo is extremley useful to new players since it lets them know if it's been successfully installed or not but realistically Obsidian never intened for that logo to be in the game so what this mod does is reimplement the old logo back into the TSLRCM game. Known Bugs: this mod shouldn't have bugs but if their is Just PM me on Deadlystream. Incompatibilities: Is incompatiable with anything that edits the main logo Permissions: Do NOT claim credit for this mod Thanks: Bioware for such an amazing game,Fred Tetra for Kotor Tool and everyone who downloads the mod. 17. So Chainz.2da made an amazing mod way back when that would make Kreia's outfit chance according to what you equipped on her. Check it out if you haven't: http://deadlystream.com/forum/files/file/81-kreias-assorted-robe-collection/ The problem with this mod is that it is not compatible with TSLRCM, because it adds new dialogue, scripts, etc. I've tried tinkering with it (I tried installing it all, but without the the new dlg files or the scripts) to no avail. Does anyone know how to get it working in TSLRCM or know how to make a TSLRCM-compatible version of the mod? Thanks.
  18. It's been literally years since I poked around this forum, so excuse my lack of knowledge of formalities. I'll be short and sweet describing the problem: After having completed nar shadaa on TSLRCM 1.8.4, I decided to go to Dantooine, the *obvious next choice.* Thing is, it always redirects me to the telos academy. When I go to Korriban, the issue does not occur, but if I go to Telos from Nar Shadaa instead, it directs me again to the academy. Furthermore, the academy is exactly like the post Atris talk pre-leaving telos academy, except I can't get into the Ebon Hawk at all. I stand at the ready to provide further info, Thanks again!
  19. 1) During the game, when did the problem begin to occur? Atton is talking to the two twileks in the cantina and crashes halfway through 2) Did you install the latest version of the mod? (1.8.3b and 1.1b respectively) yes 3) What version of the game do you have? (Steam, GOG, 4CD, KotOR Collection?) TSLRCM_1.8.4.5 Female Twilek Exile Handmaiden 4 Females - Disciple 4 Males for TSLRCM 1.8.4 remote_influence [TSL]Coruscant - Jedi Temple in that order 7) Can you be more specific about the error? At what point did it happen? My problem is in the narr shadda cantina, specifically the cuts scene where atton has to fight the twin suns. I always get to the line where he says it was a bad idea to stay on the ship. Then the game freezes and crashes right there. Before that the zhug brothers froze and burned it right after the sqiud called me to the jak jak taar. 8) Have you tried re-downloading/re-installing the mod? did a clean reinstall of everyting 9) Have you tried using a different save game? yes 10) Have you tried starting a new game? no 11) What Operating System do you use? (List Virtual Machines as well if you are using them.) windows 8.1 12) Can you confirm that you see the TSLRCM logo on the the main menu screen? yes any help would be appreciated thx i also plan to add mira or hanharr choice mod as well
  20. 1) During the game, when did the problem begin to occur? Khoonda Miltia fight? Even the first cutscene never happnes 2) Did you install the latest version of the mod? (1.8.4 and 1.2 respectively) I think so. I subscribed the English version of the TSLRCM on the Steam Workshop 3) What version of the game do you have? (Steam, GOG, 4CD, KotOR Collection?) What region is the game designed for if it's the 4 CD version? Steam 4) Did you update your game as required by your game's region? (4-CD version ONLY) Not 4-CD Version 5) Did you install this over the previous version(s), or did you perform a fresh installation as required by the TSLRCM's read-me file? I think that part is not necessary with the Steam version 6) What other mods have you installed? Please give an accurate list and provide links to each of these mods - even if they are found on this site. (We don't actually know them all!.) Canonical Jedi Exile - https://www.google.co.kr/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=7&cad=rja&uact=8&ved=0ahUKEwjTiduc3P_JAhUEI6YKHRbwANcQFggsMAY&url=http%3A%2F%2Fdeadlystream.com%2Fforum%2Ffiles%2Ffile%2F170-canonical-jedi-exile%2F&usg=AFQjCNE2eduAcOoW0yDDuZM-g5g_z-_AwA I'm not sure that's the final version though, I subscribed that mod on the Steam Workshop also. 7) Can you be more specific about the error? At what point did it happen? So, I installed the TSLRCM quite some times later to the game when I began preparing Khoonda miltia for their battle against mercs. Since my game is associated with Steam, I installed the mod via Steam workshop. What keeps happening is, everytime I try to finalize the battle plan, My PC ends up in outside of the building with bunch of miltia soldiers never allowing me to interact with them as if the script with this event does not work. I tried to unsubscribe the mod then, I could pass the event but, I want to experience Khoonda battle with the mod. You know, with extended cut scenes and stuffs. 8) Have you tried re-downloading/re-installing the mod? Yes, but it did not work 9) Have you tried using a different save game? No I have not the other saves are too far behind from that moment so..... 10) Have you tried starting a new game? No 11) What Operating System do you use? (List Virtual Machines as well if you are using them.) Windows 10 Pro, 64 bit 12) Can you confirm that you see the TSLRCM logo on the the main menu screen? Yes I can 13) What language is your game set for? English 14) Which language of TSLRCM are you using? English What should I do to fix this?
  21. KOTOR2: TSL ON MAC Step by step guide to make The Sith Lords fully working on your Mac, with Mods and Fixes Introduction(scroll for actual guide) Couple years ago Bioware and Aspyr released a Steam version Mac compatible of Kotor1. The game is working well and i finished with pleasure on my macbook. Unfortunately Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords has not received the same treatment, and in fact it's not available for Mac. But after some research on the internet, I have finally made my Steam version of Kotor2 perfectly working on my mac machine, with complete widescreen support, anti-aliasing and movies. For a complete version of the game i've also installed the TSLRCM (1.8.3) and several other mods. This guide claims to contain all information needed to operate the most important features and fixes you can do on the Windows version, carefully noting that several advices given here are already available on various web sites: what I wanted was just to put together everything I learned (adding some of my own) and share with you all the pleasure to relive the amazing game experience that is Kotor2. So, let's start! What to expectFully working game in widescreen, you can install quite all mods available. Things are not going to work: Frame Buffer Effects (Camera filters for recordings, hologram effects, invisible camouflage), Soft Shadows (although normal shadows and grass actually work), Tricky Anti-Aliasing (Depending on driver used -see below-, you may be able to select only 4x,8x or none at all) Brightness blue tint (as before, it depends on driver used. Most users should not encounter this issue) Any Shader-Graphic effects Mod (Could work with Nvida gpu powered Macs) Personal Hardwdare: MacBookPro 13" mid 2012 NON RETINA (As you can see mine it's not the most powerful mac available, in fact the gpu is an intel 4000 HD, similar to MacBook Air's.)GoG VersionI do not own this version, although some people said that sometimes is going to be more stable than Steam version. Actually the only way to install this game on your Mac trough GoG is to install Paul The Tall's Porting Kit you can find here (go under Gog version) Simply open the program, select Library tab, and search for Star Wars - KotOR2 on the left, and click Download.Steam VersionActually there are two types of software that allows you to install Steam on your Mac: Wineskin, and Crossover. Praising the last one for its immediacy and user friendly configuration, Wineskin seems to be the only working for this particular game. First thing you need is the Kotor 2 Wrapper made by 1Leonard you can find on PortingTeam.com: Link Download and place it on your desktop. Double click on Knights of The Old Republic II.app Click on Advanced, and then Tools Click on Winetricks, and type steam in searchbox. Program is under apps. Check it and click run. Now wineskin will download and install Steam for you. **NOTE**:If you get an error during this operation, there is another way (open spoiler): Install Kotor 2Now that you have installed Steam, the program should launch automatically. If it doesn't, exit Wineskin and open wrapper again (Knigts of the Old Republic II.app). Access with your account, open library, and install your game. Apparently you have to purchase game first . If everything is gone right, whenever you will click on Knights of the Old Republic II.app, Steam will launch, and you just have to select the game, and click play. Game will launch (in 4:3 indeed), movies will show up, and you are able to play without any glitches!!! **Missing texts in Steam application**: check Known Issues section below **Game not launching/Steam won't allow you to play because game is "already running"**: check Known Issues section below.WidescreenThe most important fix you're going to do is Widescreen indeed. I learned these steps from Xuul youtube video Link Here revisited for Mac. Overwrite swkotor2.exe First thing you need is this file This File from widescreenforum by Squ1zZy. You need only swkotor2.exe file. Copy it, throw the rest. Go to Knights of the old Republic 2 directory. This folder is crucial for installing any mod or fix you want, so here how to find it: Right click on wrapper (Knights of the old Republic II.app) and click show package content. Here you will find 3 files. One is Wineskin, which we have just used before to install the Steam software, one si Contents (we are not going to use it), and an alias to drive_c. This folder correspond to C: main hard drive of a windows pc. Open it. Now as using windows, go to the kotor2 directory: drive_c/Program Files/Steam/steamapps/common/Knights of the old Republic II/ Here you find the original swkotor2.exe. Rename it swkotor2.exe.old, allowing to backup in any moment. Paste squ1zzy’s .exe. Launch the game, go to options and set resolution to 1280x960. Exit game. **1280x960 Resolution not available**: check Known Issues below UniWS Patcher Now you have an executable compatible with UniWS patcher, download it here: Link **NOTE**:As you can see this is a windows program. To run an .exe file you need to open it with Wineskin, so open package content of wrapper then open Wineskin (or just cmd+DownArrow key on wrapper), and select install software. Choose your file and it will simply run as in windows. This method allows you to install any mod and fix you want, TSLRCM included. So at this point all steps are identical to a windows version. The only difference is that your C:\ drive is a folder inside Knight os the Old Republic II.app Launch UniWS with Wineskin, choose Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic 2: The sith Lords under "game", set game installation folder as seen above, and set your new resolution. Best solution is to set native resolution of your monitor. In any case you should never go under 785 height value. In my case I set 1280x800. Click Patch. Go in game directory (where you find swkotor2.exe) and open swkotor2.ini. You will probably get an error, so tell mac to open file with TextEdit. Find width and height values under [Display Options] and [Graphic Option] and set them at the same resolution you used in UniWS. Save file. Now game will run in fullscreen widescreen! **Mouse is stuck/Messing with menus and gui**: Check Known Issues below Fixes you may need for Widescreen Widescreen UI Fix by Achilles for unstretched HUD in game (Just follow installation guide, put your files in Override folder inside game directory) This guide for widescreen movies by RenegadeSniper7(You don't need to convert your movie files since Steam version already contains high resolution videos, so jump to step 9 and install HxD as you have done already for UniWS) Installing TSLRCM 1.8.3B and other ModsTo complete your Steam version of Kotor2 you definitely need the Restored Content Mod. At this point, installing this mod is not difficult at all, since you just have to install an .exe file. Download TSLRCM 1.8.3B Open Wineskin (cmd+DownArrow on Knights of the old Republic II.app) and click Install Software Choose Setup Executable and then select TSLRCM 1.8.3B.exe. Follow on screen instructions, and when the installer asks you directory's path, remember to search inside drive_c. Path usually appears like this: C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\Knights of the Old Republic II Launch game and you will see the new main menu logo. Installing M4-78 and other mods with TSLPatcher Installing M4-78 (that came with an executable installer) and all other mods that requires a TSLPatcher installation will just work exactly as TSLRCM. Just open Wineskin, Install software, choose executable, and find directory inside drive_c (Path may change in your computer): Desktop\My Computer\Users\*yourname*\Program Files\Steam\Steamapps\common\Knights of the Old Republic II\ **NOTE**: any issue, bug or glitch of any mod that not interfere with game graphic functions are not caused by the fact you are playing on a mac. Rather should be caused by incompatibility between different mods. Installing mods without TSLPatcher For all mods that requires to overwrite some files in Override folder or Directory folder (New textures, new sounds, new models, new movies...), just follow instructions given and drag files into right folder following the path inside drive_c: Knights of the Old Republic II.app\drive_c\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\Knights of the Old Republic II Installing KotorTools and KSE If you want to create your own mod you need KotorTools. Forgetcanon made a guide to make it work on Mac through Wine. Link For editing your kotor (1 & 2) save files you can use KSE. This video made by Rece explains how to use it with Wineskin. Known Issues **Missing Texts**: Usually texts in Steam program don't appear at all in your first run. If you got this issue follow this steps: **Game not launching/Steam won't allow you to play because game is "already running"**: **1280x960 Resolution not available**: **Mouse is stuck/messing with menus and gui**: **2x,4x,6x Anti-Aliasing options not available**: **Blue tint appears when launching game**: **Black screen after character creation** I tried to be clear enough for non expert users too, so please tell me if you have any question.
  22. For all of you who are new to Deadlystream, Kotor or perhaps just returning from a life on the run, here is what you have missed in our community over these last couple of months. The ever wonderful Aspyr re-released KotOR 2 on July 21st, 2015 with some very welcome new features. They include: Mac OS 10 Support! Steam Achievements Steam Cloud saves Native Widescreen Resolution support for 4k and 5k monitors Support for controllers Steam Workshop support (though we prefer you stay on Deadlystream for all your modding needs ) Full support for TSLRCM You can read more about the update here and here. If you are intersted in purchasing the steam version of KotOR 2 you can do so here. Mr. Xuul was kind enough to track down an Aspyr employee and ask the important questions for us (like what about us 4-discers), read about it here. TSLRCM was updated to 1.8.4 on July 21, 2015, you can download it here. In the same vein M4-78 was also updated, you can download it here. Our very own Sithspecter and Xuul released a awesome preview of the planet, Sleheyron. You can view it here. The Kotor 1 Restoration 1.0 was released on June 17, 2015. Read more about it and download it here. Fair Strides released the latest version of The Kotor Save Editor. It has been updated to version 3.3.7a and now includes support for Steam Cloud saves. Download it here. As of July 23rd, 2015, Filefront (and by extension kotorfiles) has shutdown permanently with little or no warning, causing a great panic across our community, as many older mods for KotOR suddenly disappeared (though some are still available at the new gamefront site). Thankfully the team here at Deadlystream has put in a lot of time getting permission to put up as many mods here as possible. Take a look at our recent influx of mods over at the Downloads section. To read more about the shutdown of filefront you can do so here. For all you steam fans, Deadlystream now has a steam group, you can join here. It is open to all and there are plans to do group gaming events. The Reddit /r/Kotor subreddit has been abuzz with activity, here are some of the more popular posts from the last couple of weeks; TIL that the actor who voiced G0-T0, Daran Norris, was also the voice of Cosmo on The Fairly Oddparents. KotOR 2 coming to SteamOS, Mac with added Steam Workshop support, controller support, and more. I'm playing KotOR II for the first time since I was a kid. This one definitely skipped by me at the time... Sleheyron Restoration Preview!! Revan – Star Wars Fan Film (2015) It’s Here! Pretty sure those aren't screenshots from Knights of the Old Republic [KOTOR II - Telos] This is so humorous, yet so sad. This guy always tests my commitment to the Light Side... So I was cleaning out my bookshelf and found this old guy I waited about two minutes for Canderous to come to me to leave the level. Switched to him to see what was taking so long and got this. Aspyr wants to bring KOTOR 2 to mobile devices, but first they wanna know if we're interested. Please, sign up? Not sure if this is allowed, but this wallpaper really reminds me of where you wake up in the beginning on the Endar Spire. "Obey the laws here on Manaan, human." So KOTOR II on Steam now has achievements. Last and arguably most importantly, there are now less than 88 days until Star Wars VII: The Force Awakens comes out in theaters. Any comments, ideas or concerns about this post, please PM me, all feedback is welcome.
  23. Something that's been bugging me for a while is why the cut sidequest for Lieutenant Yima wasn't restored in TSLRCM. Since it was detailed in the "What's restored in TSLRCM", it must have been real, unlike some other stuff, but I can't find a reason as to why it wasn't restored. According to Wookiepedia (which I'll admit has set me astray before), Team Gizka were also going to leave it unrestored, so I'm just curious as to why nobody seems to want this sidequest.
  24. Bao-Dur's Electromesh Armor View File Bao-Dur's ElectroMesh Armor 2.1 ------------------------------------------------------- Author: Kaidon Jorn Compatible with TSLRCM 1.8.4 Many moons ago this mod was part of HotOR 1.6, and I thought I had lost the .zip folder for it, but it's now found and I can bring it YOU, the player, in this new updated for TSLRCM 1.8.4 version. This mod adds a small quest to have Bao-Dur build his own non-force restrictive armor once he reaches 10th level. The armor itself is a reskin of normal Electromesh Armor I made back in 2012. The quest will have you find some shielding components and a mesh suit on Nar Shadaa so that he may turn them into a powered ElectroMesh suit. It is important that you speak to him when he becomes 10th level and pick up the quest so that you don't find the parts beforehand, which is definately a possibilty. Originally the quest started only after he had become a Jedi Guardian, but I changed it to start earlier so you can get better armor for him that will remain viable throughout your play through. Run the .exe to install ***IMPORTANT*** Version 2.1 fixes Bao-Dur's dialog for normal (non-SLM) installation. I advise to install SLM first before this mod, then simply open the folder called "SLM Compatibilty" and copy and paste the new dialog file into Override and allow to overwrite. (You may want to backup the one in Override first) Permissions: You may not redistribute files contained herein and you may not use these files in your own mod without my consent. 25. I downloaded the Extended Enclave mod, the Extended Carth meeting, and the Alternate Ending, and the instructions say to put the files wherever you like, but when I tried to put it into my Downloads folder, an error occurred. Does anyone know what folder these mods are supposed to go into?
