  1. View File Vanilla Masks Overhaul Patch for TSL While heavily modifying my TSL play-through, I stumbled upon xander2077's excellent KOTOR 1 Vanilla Masks Overhaul Mod. Unfortunately, as can be seen by the comments in that mod, since it's meant for KOTOR 1, installing its mdl files into your TSL override directory, causes TSL to instantly crash. The comments in the mod recommended installing just the textures, however this missed out on some of the cooler features of some of the headgear like the Verpine Headband's visual interface. So, I went ahead and patched the models so that they would work for TLS instead. After playing with it for a while, I figured I may as well share this to the community. This is a patch and only contains the game models themselves patched for TSL, in order for you to get the mod to work you will still have to download the original mod. To reiterate: THIS MOD IS A PATCH AND IT STILL REQUIRES THE ORIGINAL MOD TO WORK. ------------------------------ Installation ------------------------------ After installing xander2077's mod by dragging the files in it to your override folder, move the files in this mod to your override folder overwriting any conflicts. ------------------------------ Uninstallation ------------------------------ Simply delete the contents of this file from your override folder. 2. View File Train The Disciple Train the Disciple By jc2 Atton can be trained to use the force forms and lightsaber techniques that the PC learns on his/her journey, however, the Disciple cannot. At a loss for why this would not be, jc2 has undertaken an effort to rebalance this issue. Keeping in mind the sister mod, Train the Handmaiden, which set out in 2017, nearly 2 years prior to address the same issue for the Handmaiden, jc2 has come full circle. Therefore, it is the entire effort of this mod to allow the PC to train the Disciple in all 7 of the lightsaber forms, four force forms, and three force techniques. Lightsaber techniques: Ataru Form -Juyo Form - Shii Cho Form - Soresu Form - Makashi Form - Niman Form - Shien Form Force forms: Force Potency Form- Force Mastery Form -Force Focus Form - Force Affinity Force techniques: Breath Control - Beast Trick -- Force Sight The PC must have learned these techniques in order to train the Disciple on them. Incompatibilities: None so far. Compatible with Party Swap & any mod that edits disciple.dlg, because Train the Disciple does not edit disciple.dlg in any way. Files used: jc2_coms.uti, deadmerc_cont.utp (Dantooine corpses within Enclave next to Statue), jc2_disciple.dlg, spells.2da & globalcat.2da (correctly patched with tslpatcher). Installation: Run Tslpatcher See Readme for further details and information, before installing. Credits: Sith Holocron for VO splicing Deadlystream for hosting & Tyvokka for hosting deadlystream! ZYBL2 for quick explanation of lips files stoffe for the tslpatcher Jesus the Christ Feedback is always appreciated, regardless of its nature. I hope you enjoy! 3. View File KotOR Save Importer for TSL This is both a mod in itself, and a resource for modders to use. It allows data from KotOR 1 to be imported into TSL. It is extensible, so modders can very easily map variable values from KotOR 1 to KotOR 2 without any scripting required. There are several reasons why it might be useful to allow TSL to load data from a KotOR 1 save. The obvious example of where this would be useful is at the start of TSL when talking to Atton for the first time (where the player's choices determine what the game believes happened in the first game). It would be better if the game were aware of this without asking the player directly. Ideally, this would be TSL itself reading a KotOR 1 save, but for several reasons this is not feasible. Modders might also want to create new content which bridges between KotOR 1 and KotOR 2. For example, a mod which extends the KotOR/TSL storyline might benefit from knowing decisions that the player made in both games. Alongside the app (app.exe) is a folder called "requirements". This contains a yaml file "revan.yaml", which is an example of how you can dynamically tell the save importer which variables to import from KotOR 1, what variables to assign them to, and how to map the variables across. You can optionally install the file "101atton.dlg", which will change the initial conversation with Atton to no longer ask the player for information about KotOR 1 (because the game already knows this information, since you imported the data directly from your KotOR 1 save). IMPORTANT NOTES - You need to have a KotOR save which is far enough into the game that the ending has been determined. A save during the final battle of the game should be sufficient for this. If you don't have such a save, the variable "G_FinalChoice" can be manually set it in the GUI interface to the appropriate value (0 for LS ending, 1 for DS ending). - You can set/change variables within the tool using the GUI. - The mod was tested with TSLRCM; I make no guarantees about whether it would work without it. COMPATIBILITY This mod is compatible with TSLRCM. This mod changes the script "k_kreia_spawn", and (optionally) the DLG 101atton.dlg, and therefore should be compatible with any mod that does not change either of these scripts (except for TSLRCM, whose changes are incorporated into our files). Please ensure you install TSLRCM before installing this mod. INSTALLATION Please ensure you install TSLRCM before installing this mod. To use this tool, please follow these instructions: 1. Extract the compressed files, and run the executable "app.exe". 2. If you want to automatically import data from a KotOR 1 save, press the button "Load from KotOR 1 save". This will open a file selection box; navigate to the KotOR 1 save you wish to load from (it should be a folder). Select the folder and press "Select Folder". You can also manually edit/change the values in the GUI to your liking. Pressing "Create without KotOR 1 save" resets all values to their defaults. 3. Once you've imported and/or set the values to your liking, press "Write Script". The tool will then generate a file "k_kreia_spawn.ncs" in the folder alongside "app.exe". 4. Copy the file "k_kreia_spawn.ncs" into your TSL overrides folder. If you want to include the Atton dialog changes as well, copy the DLG file "101atton.dlg" into the TSL overrides folder too. UNINSTALLATION Delete the files "k_kreia_spawn.ncs", and "101atton.dlg" (if you installed it), from your overrides folder. INCLUSION IN OTHER MODS Anyone who wants to use this in their mod is free to do so, with appropriate attribution. CREDITS This mod is created by me (lachjames), Thor110, and VarsityPuppet. Thanks for VarsityPuppet for the idea for this tool, and our discussions on its implementation. Thanks also to Thor110 for his great advice and assistance with editing the DLG files (which I've never done before as I'm new to KOTOR modding). Thanks to the Xoreos team for allowing us to include xoreos-tools with this mod. We use the unerf and gff2xml tools from xoreos-tools to read data from KotOR 1 saves. Xoreos-tools is licensed under the terms of the GNU General Public License v3; more information can be found here. Thanks also to Fred Tetra for creating the KotOR version of nwnnsscomp.exe, which is also used in this tool for compilation. "Revan unmasked" mod for Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords ========================================================================== Version 1.0 Released 28.05.2022 Author LoneWanderer ------------- 1.Description ------------- Since TSL doesn't support save transfer, the player chooses Revan's gender and alignment during the first dialogue with Atton. Regardless of the choice, Revan's face is hidden behind a mask in the game. This mod removes Revan's mask and gives him/her the actual face from KOTOR I. There are 2 options available: with hood and cape (has many clipping issues, but mostly independent from Revan's robe reskin mods) and without them. You can change default heads from this mod to other KOTOR heads (located in the 'Alternate Heads' folder of the mod). -------------- 2.Installation -------------- Run "TSLPatcher.exe" installer, choose Option 1 (with hood and cape) or Option 2 (without hood and cape) and select your TSL folder. Edit: You'll need a save before entering the Secret Cave on Korriban for the mod to work properly. How to install a different head for Revan: Additional heads are located in the "Alternate Heads" folder of the mod. pmhc04 and pfhc03 head models are installed for male and female Revan by default. If you want Revan to have a different head from KOTOR, then: 1.Open the page "https://deadlystream.com/blogs/entry/220-blog-56-the-k1-and-tsl-heads/" in your browser. Choose the head in k1 heads section on the picture and remember its name. 2.In the "Alternate Heads" folder, find this head model and 5 textures. Copy them and rename male head, textures as "n_revanmh" and female - "n_revanfh". For example, pmhc01.mdl -> n_revanmh.mdl, pmhc01.mdx -> n_revanmh.mdx, pmhc01.tpc -> n_revanmh.tpc, pmhc01d.tpc -> n_revanmhd.tpc, ... , pmhc01d3.tpc -> n_revanmhd3.tpc 3.Put the renamed files in Override folder of the game, replacing existing files. How to use reskins from other KOTOR I mods: If mod only changes textures of an existing KOTOR I head (doesn't have .mdl and .mdx files), then to use it: 1.Rename textures from the reskin mod (files with .tga, .tpc extensions) as "n_revanmh", "n_revanmhd", "n_revanmhd1", "n_revanmhd2", "n_revanmhd3" - for male head, "n_revanfh", "n_revanfhd", "n_revanfhd1", "n_revanfhd2", "n_revanfhd3" - for female. 2.Place the renamed .tga/.tpc reskin files in Override folder of the game. If reskin had files with .tga extension, then don't forget to delete original .tpc files with the same names in the Override. ---------------- 3.Uninstallation ---------------- Delete installed files of the mod from Override folder. Copy the files from the generated "backup" folder and place them in the Override folder. If you have installed other mods after this one that modify appearance.2da, heads.2da, then you should uninstall those mods first. ----------------- 4.Known issues ----------------- The hood from Option 1 will clip with head and hairs in many animations, but this is a purely visual issue. -------------- 5.Compatibilty -------------- Option 1 (with hood and cape) is not affected by most mods that change Darth Revan's/Star Forge robes. Install it if you want to use mods like "Jedi Journeyman Robes" (which replace Darth Revan's robe with something else) for player's character. Option 2 (without hood and cape) is affected by mods that change Darth Revan's/Star Forge robes (model J). This means you can install various Darth Revan's robe reskins with it and they will appear on Revan. "Revan's Hoodless/Maskless Flowing Robes For TSL 1.1" by DarthParametric is compatible, but most (or all) female variants won't have a flowing cape. "Single bladed fake Revan 1.0.0" mod by Crimson Knight is incompatible. ------------- 6.Permissions ------------- This mod may not be modified or distributed without the explicit permission of the author. This mod can be reuploaded / posted on other sites only if it is unavailable both on DeadlyStream, and on Nexus, and there is no contact with the author for at least 3 months. --------- 7.Credits --------- Fred Tetra - KOTOR Tool TK102 - DLG Editor Stoffe and Fair Strides - TSLPatcher Blue - KotOR Scripting Tool --------- 8.Contact --------- PM me on DeadlyStream or Nexus. This mod aims to fix all* the stretching that occurs in widescreen (16:9) resolutions. There have already been other mods to fix the main HUD, but there are a lot of other elements in the game that are in need of correction, such as the pause menu, galaxy map, loading screens, etc. *For now, I recommend that you download "Widescreen UI Fix for Knights of the Old Republic 2: The Sith Lords" by Achilles to fix the HUD, and combine it with this mod to un-stretch everything else. I have included my own experimental version of a 16:9 HUD, but right now I think most people would prefer Achilles' version.
  7. View File TSL Beast Ports for KotOR I ============================================= A KNIGHTS OF THE OLD REPUBLIC MODIFICATION ============================================= AUTHOR: Marius Fett NAME: TSL Beast Ports for KotOR I DESCRIPTION: This is a set of ports of six animal/beast/creature models from TSL over to KotOR I. They are the large Boma Beast, the Cannok, the Hssiss, the Laigrek, the Maalrass and the Zakkeg. I know that there are other beasts in TSL such as the smaller Boma and the Drexl etc, but I just ported a selection over for now. NOTE: This is intended as a resource and NOT as a standalone mod. You can run the included TSL patcher to quickly add the relevant rows to appearance.2da and put the models/textures into your Override folder, but they are not placed anywhere in the game. PERMISSIONS: This modders resource is free to use in any mod you produce and release, provided that relevant credit is given. Submitter Marius Fett Submitted 05/11/2022 Category Modder's Resources

This mod replaces all the saber icons [Mantle of the Force, Heart of the Guardian and Malak's Lightsaber included] with the all new Cool Saber Icons. -= BACKGROUND =- When I switch around the lightsabers on the equip-list menu I had noticed that the blue lightsaber icons wasn't blue enough -- it was more purple than blue for this eyes, so I decided to make it blue, similar to the blade's color. The color of the icons were inspired by JCarter426's "JC's Lightsaber Visual Effects", the K1 version in particular. In the end not only the color that was changed, but the overall style of all the icons as well. -= ABOUT THIS MOD =- Inside this mod are 22 new Cool Saber Icons in TPC format -- covering all the available [saber] icons [including the unobtainable Malak's] in vanilla game. Preview -- As in v2.0.0 the hilts were rendered using VarsityPuppet's "Hi Poly Tin Cans" [ported to K1 by Fallen Guardian] enhanced by DarthParametric's "Alternative Textures". DP did the neat work as well on rendering them for me to repurpose as icons. As for the background bits I used and combined the TOR assets ported and provided by Magnetiicz. -- provided as well user-friendly TGA/DDS/TXI cleaner and mod-uninstaller for convenience purpose. -= FINAL REMARKS =- As it stands now Malak's Lightsaber is unobtainable in-game in a regular way. However, you can use cheat-console then type for giveitem g_w_lghtsbr06 to get one. I planned on allowing players to obtain one in-game sometimes in the future -- probably with the next update. This mod intends to address key issues with male Twi'lek heads in KOTOR II, most notably the addition of ear geometry. Both the ear meshes and textures included in this mod are modified ports from SWTOR, meant to improve ear shape & texture quality. Additional improvements include better smoothing groups, non-clipping teeth, non-clipping eyelids, & recolored tongues. There are two options for installation. Option A models feature "slim" necks, while Option B models retain unaltered "blubber" necks. I highly reccomend the first option as it fixes clipping with medium & heavy armor collars, but feel free to choose the second if you prefer that look. There are no other differences between the two. Given the frequency of Twi'lek NPCs, this mod is a nice visual improvement & the addition of ear meshes adds consistency with other head models in the game. There's also a KOTOR I version available here. Installation & Uninstallation To install this mod, drag the files from either the Option A folder or Option B folder to the Override folder located in your game's directory. Then, drag files from the Textures folder to the Override folder as well. If you're updating from an older version, make sure to delete any TGA and TXI files of the same names beforehand. To uninstall this mod, delete the files from your game's Override folder. There's a list of files included in readme.txt for reference. Compatibility & Known Issues This mod will not be compatible with any retextures for Twi'lek male heads. There are no known issues as of this current version. A mod for people who like the clean look of the original TSL logo, but also want reasonable clear graphics suited for a widescreen setup. This started as a few modifications to the TSL logo for my own use, trying to see what worked best. I started with the high-resolution version of the TSL logo used by DarthParametric for the KOTOR 2 Community Patch (K2CP). I then resized it a few times, recentered and reoriented it a few times, and took screenshots as I went to compare. This is *not* a widescreen mod. This is a logo replacer intended for people who are already using a widescreen mod like UniWS. (Check out the subreddit mod build and follow the directions!) I am personally using a 1920x1080 widescreen setup with the Steam patch of the game. I cannot guarantee your results will look like mine. Install Instructions: - Download and unzip the mod. - Look through the 'screenshots' folder to compare the different options and pick one for yourself. - Find your chosen folder, copy the image (KOTOR2logo.tga) file within that folder, and paste it to your Override folder in KOTOR 2. If none of the options work for you, I've also included the raw source files so you can easily make your own. ------------- How to Make Your Own: - Download and unzip the mod - Look through the 'source files' folder and open the raw logo.png file in your preferred photo editor (I use paint.net) - Resize the base image as desired. - Select the whole image, deselect all 100% transparent pixels, copy - Open whatever KOTOR2logo.tga file you wish to use as a reference; create a new layer on that image. - Paste the raw logo image onto the new layer, then move it around to the desired location. - Delete the original layer and 'Save As' a new logo file (ideally in a new folder) - Copy that new KOTOR2logo.tga file to 'Override' and start the game to see how it looks. ------------- Credits: My thanks to DarthParametric for making the original K2CP logo image available to me via Discord.

Author: Kainzorus Prime Mod Name: NPC Overhaul Mod ************************* Under NO circumstances is this, or any of my other, mod(s) to be posted on ANY site other than by myself. ************************* 1. Info =========== This mod attempts to fix the ‘clone effect’ which TSL is notorious for, across multiple locations. It differentiates the NPCs in an attempt to eliminate several of them looking identical in one location, due to the way it was set up by Obsidian. It also provides a different clothing for each starting Jedi class, rather than conform to a single texture across all of them. Several shaders across multiple characters are also restored, such as the Mandalorians, Hutts, droids, etc. 2. Installation: ========= Run the patcher for each listed location and let it do its magic. I apologize for the need to run it several times, but it’s the only viable way. 3. Credits: =========== Special thanks to: Holowan Laboratories - For all the great resources. 4. DISCLAIMER: =============== This Mod is not supported by LucasArts, Bioware or Obsidian. 15. View File [K1] Alignment Fancy Bits This mod adds fancy VFX and SFX alignment change both to the dark side and light side in two available style; TOR and TSL. -= BACKGROUND =- Not much of a background -- just my curiosity fueled with @DarthParametric's invaluable insights and assistance trying something never been done [at least to release stage until this mod was attempted] and documented previously to K1 based on its successors; The Sith Lords and The Old Republic. -= ABOUT THIS MOD =- TOR style -- adds IN-cutscenes VFX and SFX based on TOR's TSL style -- adds POST-cutscenes VFX and SFX based on TSL's TOR style no SFX -- adds ONLY IN-cutscenes VFX based on TOR's TSL style no SFX -- adds ONLY POST-cutscenes VFX based on TSL's * Preview [v1.0.1] -- To its VFX base it's using ported TSL models and texture [for the dark side ones] provided by DarthParametric. As for the SFX, I had them ported from TSL -- originally comes as mus_s_darkshort and mus_s_lightshort. -- provided as well user-friendly uninstaller for convenience purpose. -= KNOWN ISSUES =- TOR style -- at some potential cases [depending on how the cutscenes were set up] the SFX and/or VFX won't show up if the camera/frame far-off from the Player. In SFX's case -- because Players' presence on-screen's needed as they're the medium for the SFX output TSL style -- as using a spawned placeable's OnHeartbeat [which checks for and] to trigger the VFX and SFX for ONLY every ~3 seconds, they will not fired instantly. Delays are to be expected with this one. Also, as I didn't include ratio check to DS and LS gains sometimes you'll see LS status with DS' VFX/SFX and vice-versa. That often happens if there are multiple alignment sets in one continuous cutscenes There are module-specifics scripts that alter the alignment which is outside the scope of this mod -- at least at this current stage. With that in mind sometimes you won't see the mod's working although there are alignment change's happening -= FINAL REMARKS =- There's always room for improvements; reviews, critiques, comments, suggestions, questions and feedbacks are much appreciated. PM me here, write them on my feed or leave any on the mod's page as you please. And thank you! for downloading, and using this mod. Hope you enjoy the mod as much as I do! -= INSTALLATION =- Run the installer, pick only one of the available options then hit the [Install Mod ->] button! -= UNINSTALLATION =- Available in the _uninstall folder -- make sure to read the Readme first! -= COMPATIBILITY =- Is NOT compatible with mods that share the provision; doing same thing, same assets etc and/or anything that hard-overwrites 2DAs coming from this mod. -= REDISTRIBUTION =- I'd love to provide direct support to my work, which wouldn't be possible if they're scattered in the Unknown Regions -- so be considerate to not redistribute this mod or re-release it on any websites. This is both a mod in itself, and a resource for modders to use.
  18. View File Poison weapons and upgrades "Poison weapons and upgrades" mod for Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords VERSION: 1.0 RELEASE DATE: October 11, 2021 AUTHOR: LoneWanderer --------------------- 1.Description --------------------- Adds 3 poison weapons (2 with new models) and 6 melee upgrades with custom icons. KOTOR I had several poisoned weapons, which were quite fun to use, but in TSL poison damage type was limited to mostly useless or rarely used grenades, mines and droid special weapons. The goal of this mod is to make gameplay more varied and interesting by adding new obtainable poison weapons and upgrades. Weapons: Naga Sadow's Poison Blade - inside Korriban's Academy Poison Short Sword - can be bought from Samhan Dobo on Telos Sith Poison Double-Bladed Spear - from Dark Jedi Apprentice inside Freedon Nadd's tomb Upgrades (can be created using a workbench): Mild Poisonious Edge - Poison, Mild Damage DC 15 (requres skill: Stealth 6) Average Poisonious Edge - Poison, Average Damage DC 25 (requres skill: Stealth 14) Severe Poisonious Edge - Poison, Virulent Damage DC 30 (requres skill: Stealth 22) Deadly Poisonious Edge - Poison, Deadly Damage DC 50 (requres skill: Stealth 32) Average Weakening Edge - Poison, Average Weakness DC 20 (requres skill: Awareness 10) Deadly Weakening Edge - Poison, Deadly Weakness DC 40 (requres skill: Awareness 28) Since level cap was raised from 20 to 50 in TSL and autobalance system increases the level of enemies to match the level of Main Character, this means that in the latter half of the game most enemies will have very high resistance to poison, which makes it ineffective. To counter this imbalance, 2 additional levels of poison damage were added: Deadly Damage and Deadly Weakness. Also, to increase the chance of poisoning enemies, you can try lowering their Fortitude using, for example, Force Scream. As a bonus Poison Short Sword and Sith Poison Double-Bladed Spear have new models (see License information in section 6.Credits). The correct shadow models were kindly created by DarthParametric. 22. Yes, yes, it is a well-tread path I walk in saying I'm going to reassign and retexture the armors appearing in The Sith Lords. However, no mods of similar design quite go all the way. Enter me. My guiding principle: All descriptions, lore, and textures should carry equal weight. The textures of TSL's armor uti files will be corrected where needed to point toward their K1 appearance. Some of this was just sloppiness on Obsidian's part, some of it was just interesting reassignment choices. For new armors, I intend to do the following: The Light Combat Suit will now take its cues from the Peragus Mining Uniform (so it will basically be just a brown leather suit). The Mandalorian Combat Suit will take its cues from the Cinnegar Weave Armor of K1, to better match description. The Mandalorian Heavy Suit might get Bandon's Fiber Armor recolored, again to better match the item description (although kudos to Obsidian for putting in the bare minimum effort of making the combat suit texture indigo). The Echani Shield Suit I'm considering a recolored version of K1's Baragwin Shadow Armor. Not ideal, but better than the obviously Mandalorian armor from before. The Sith Battle Suit will now resemble a red version of K1's Environmental bastion armor. The Verpine Fiber Ultramesh gets recolored slightly--more gold added to the shoulders and tubes. We don't know where Davik got his armor, but we do know a Verpine color scheme when we see one. The Corellian Powersuit takes its cues from the Powered Battle Suit to better match the item description. M'uhk'gfa is my own attempt using the Battle Armor base with a modified weave over the leather parts to better match the item description. The Iotran Braceman Armor takes its cues from the class eight Mandalorian armor now (what was previously the Echani Shield Suit), better matching the item description which categorizes them as a warrior society. The Fenelar Armor now bares its correct name, and has been recolored to distance it from Jurgan Kalta's Power Suit, although the implication of the identified Fenelar design on the origins of Kalta's armor is up to you. The Matrix Armor is untouched (because I refuse to call it Cassus Fett's armor) but has a modified description which implies a link between either starship plating and beskar or the armor's design and those of the Mandalorians depending on how you take it. They are in various stages of completion, but I'll post images as I get to them. As always, feedback is welcome!

This mod adds a new tomb to the Valley of the Dark Lords - the tomb of Azgath N'Dul. You will find it between the tombs of Ajunta Pall and Tulak Hord. A couple of robes will come out funny if you are using oldflash's Final Touch - The Chatos Robes, the Sith Lord Robes and the Robes of Azgath N'Dul. This is because of a model change that mod introduces. They won't crash your game, but they will look a bit odd. This mod adds: ten new robes, three new armours, four new weapons, two weapons I've released separately before, a new belt, a new pair of gloves and a new Force Power, not to mention many other items that can be created by the Force Transmutation Device. I've tried to keep the stats fairly balanced, but that's by my judgment. N.B.: Robes included in this mod may not be compatible with robe mods which you have installed. Please be sure to download kyrie's changes.ini fix before installing this mod (click here), and then the 2.2 patch.
