  14. Anyone know how to fix or can fix (A better Mira) mod by corpsecotillion I really like the mod. but unfortunately it has some bugs. Following these instructions fixes the head mesh issue "The head model expects a file mirahe.tga, make a copy of p_mirah.tga and rename it to mirahe.tga.I believe the name for the body texture is also incorrect, P_MiraA01.tga should be P_MiraA.tga" But even with the headmesh fix the teeth of the model clip through when Mira is talking and it's weird and buggy. Alternative request: Change Mira's default hair to the one in the mod

This little mod is actually just a hex-edit of another model (we didn't have shiny tools back then) to point to my new, custom textures, with full DS transitions (though I'm still not super happy with those. Guess I don't play DS often enough to be good at them lol) Anyways, the revised version (this one) has the colors toned down a little. I got a bit carried away with the original, or maybe the high res I can play in now just makes them stand out a lot more, but in any case, I'm happier with them now. I also went ahead and made it all TSL Patcher happy, so the modifications it needs to make to appearance.2da, heads.2da, and portraits.2da will merely add to those files, and not break anything (thus, ensuring compatibility). Everything else is uniquely named, so this "head" will appear as an additional (16th) choice for a starting female character and not replace any "core content". The versions of my armband gizmo with KK_PC in their name support this mod, while other versions of the band will work, but it won't know about this content. Anyways, enjoy. ^-^ -Kitt
  16. View File [TSL] Animated Computer Panel This mod replaces the static computer panel placeables [PLC_comPanel] that found throughout the game; such as one in the Bumani's, Medical Unit, and Czerka's [on Telos] with the animated ones. -= BACKGROUND =- It was Sith Holocron's request about his least favorite texture in KotOR2/TSL that makes me work on this mod. But as time goes by curiosity on trying to improve it haunts me, by doing more and looking much better -- hence the born of v2.0.0. On this [as well as the previous one] I have him to help on making the panel screen, hence the sweet result of a movie-like looking ones. You should check out his blog from where the inspiration comes -- And then with DarthParametric's handy-hands the panel now have a new symmetrical frame, some 3D buttons, also few TOR-ported bits on the screen. Not stopping there, it now have a new panel board decals -- a copied work from Frank Diorio's downloadable decals [then niubniubsuniverse-dot-com]. -= ABOUT THIS MOD =- Inside this mod are 2 version; transparent screen and a solid-non-transparent version. Preview: Transparent Solid Specifics: New panel frame trimesh made by @DarthParametric New 3D buttons trimesh made by DarthParametric Panel screen bitmap made by @Sith Holocron Panel board bitmap made by Frank Diorio TOR ported animated bits redistributed by DarthParametric Tools mostly worked on to -- KOTORmax [gmax] by bead-v / Aurora MDL [N++] by Symmetric The panel texture currently still in vanilla scheme [based on stock PLC_comPanel], albeit upscaled to x1024 from x256 using PS'. -= KNOWN ISSUES =- With transparent version, some objects will become invisible behind the screen; such as traffics seen from Medical Unit and lightsaber as well with the hilt. There's a workaround for the traffics, but that's beyond the scope of this mod so they're something to live with at the moment. Nothing that I know of though for the lightsabers. -= FINAL REMARKS =- There's always room for improvements; reviews, critiques, comments, suggestions, questions and feedbacks are much appreciated. PM me here, write them on my feed or leave any on the mod's page as you please. And thank you! for downloading, and using this mod. Hope you enjoy the mod as much as I do! -= INSTALLATION =- Run the installer and choose INSTALL option. Pick one you choose -- then hit the [Install Mod ->] button! -= UNINSTALLATION =- Choose the UNINSTALL option in the installation menu For a clean uninstallation, remove these files from the Override after proceeding with the main procedure -- eb_plc_commpane1/2.MDL eb_plc_commpane1/2.MDX eb_plc_commpane1/2.PWK eb_companel_btns.TPC eb_companel_pnel.TPC eb_companel_wave.TPC sheb_compnl_scrn.TPC -= COMPATIBILITY =- Not compatible with mods that hard-overwrites placeables.2DA Not compatible with mods that alter the modelname and label setup for RowIndex 292 in placeables.2DA Not compatible with mods which happened to have the same name with the MDL, MDX, PWK, and TPC-s that included with this mod -= REDISTRIBUTION =- Do not redistribute this mod or re-release it on any websites. If you are to re-use an assets to a project you will be releasing, please be kindly to ask for permission first - that way I know what's up, and if it's interesting enough I might offer to be involved, lol. This mod "restores" three-tier appearances of Dark Jedi robe as seen on their icons. # Background # We do notice that there are 3 different icons of Dark Jedi robes which came along with each of their own tier. But when we equipped the DJKnight or DJMaster robe, their appearance pointed to that only robe which is the basic DJ robe. This mod tried to "restores" the robes which was shown with the icons. # About this Mod # Inside this mod are some replacements for Dark Jedi robes both for the male and female version: Vanilla Dark Jedi robe with additional specularity [g_a_jedirobe02] / PMBI02 - PFBI02 Blue Dark Jedi robe replacement [g_a_jedirobe05] / PMBI11 - PFBI11 Dark Jedi Knight robe [g_a_kghtrobe02] / PMBI12 - PFBI12 Blue Dark Jedi Knight robe replacement [g_a_kghtrobe05] / PMBI13 - PFBI13 Dark Jedi Master robe [g_a_mstrrobe02] / PMBI14 - PFBI14 Blue Dark Jedi Master replacement [g_a_mstrrobe05] / PMBI15 - PFBI15 All the robe icons necessary Vanilla models to have them textures working properly An Extras: Vanilla texture with enhanced specularity Darth Revan's robe / PMBJ01 - N_DarthRevan01 Uninstall option # Final Remarks # I am using Darth Tomer's "Dark Robe" as the base layer for the 11 and 13 variant, and also SpaceAlex's "Modder's Resource: SpaceAlex's Unfinished K1 Enhancement Pack - PMBI05 and PFBI05" as the base layer to work on to for the 14 and 15 variant. Credits to them both as the respective owners of the amazing textures to work on to. Critiques, comments, suggestions, questions and any feedbacks for the next update are very much appreciated- just PM me or write a public message on my feed. And thank you! for downloading, and playing this mod. Hope you enjoy the mod as much as I do! Installation: I suggest you to manually removes PMBI02 TGA/TPC, PFBI02 TGA/DDS, and ia_jedirobe_002 TGA/DDS from the 'Override' folder; if there's any. If you were running a clean install playthrough or without any texture replacement mods, you could just run the installer [TSLPatcher.exe]. Uninstallation: Run the 'Uninstall' option from the installation directory. Compatibility: Will not compatible with mods that replaces or changing the 'Texture Variation' inside of these UTIs: g_a_jedirobe02 g_a_jedirobe05 g_a_kghtrobe02 g_a_kghtrobe05 g_a_mstrrobe02 g_a_mstrrobe05 Also not compatible with mods that replaces the model of the Jedi robes [pfbil, pfbim, pfbis, pmbil, pmbim, pmbis - MDL/MDX], for example; Marius Fett's "Male Jedi Robe Replacement". If you want this mod to be working, install it after the said mod has or after any potentially conflicted mods. Redistribution: You can redistribute this mod or re-release it on any website; you don't have to ask for permission, but I do appreciate all the kind intention. Also, if you are planning to use the assets from this mod to a mod you will be developing, make sure to give credits to Darth Tomer, SpaceAlex, BioWare & LucasArts, as inside this mod are their base assets. Nevertheless, credits to me is always a welcome, welcome. Credits: DarthParametric for the past-present knowledge which allows me to create any customs for the game Darth Tomer for the "Dark Robe" SpaceAlex for the "Modder's Resource: SpaceAlex's Unfinished K1 Enhancement Pack" N-DReW25 for the "Dark Jedi Robes Icon Fix" which motivates me to work its contrast; for without his mod I will not start doing this project Salk, Sith Holocron, and JustABitAgroed for some insights which I believe has lead me to start on doing the project Dark Hope, Quanon, VarsityPuppet, and redrob41 for being inspirational Fred Tetra for the 'amazing' KotOR Tool ndix UR for the tga2tpc Darth Sapiens and Paul Ste. 19. That recent animated aging avatar by Sith Holocron made me think about the external signs of the age of the Jedi Masters in TSL. The Council holorecord was from 10 years prior the game, but the members of the Council did not visually change (do they use the same models?). And obviously they could not be too young to begin with. Especially Vrook, he was same old man in the TSL (3951 BBY), in K1 (3956 BBY), in the holorecord (around 3960 BBY), in the comics "KOTOR" set shortly before the Mandalorian Wars (3964 BBY). He was even in the Council in the comics about Duron Qel-Droma (3993 BBY) and looked like he was already over 40 (this might just be an oversight, but funny in the context of this post). In less than 10 years, Malak received tattoos, unique armor, skin changes due to the influence of DS, lost his jaw, replaced it with a metal plate, as a result received a new voice and, in the end, was killed. Revan shaved / grew facial hair all the time. But the members of the High Council didn't even change their hairstyles (let's assume that Atris had closet full of same white librarian' s robes). This may be a reasonable idea for a mod or, perhaps, some kind of expansion to Full Jedi Council mod to visually reflect passing years on masters, for example, to make Atris and Lonna Vash younger in Holorecord and to age Vrook in the present time. Kavar and Zes-Kai Ell can be changed in any direction, I'm not sure about them (they appeared only in the background of one comic book). What do you think about this subject? And is anyone willing to create such a mod if it fits the lore?
  20. Maybe there is a mod that adds models and portraits from 1 part of the game to 2? If not, can someone do it, I really want to go through the game with the old face of the character. I really need an old character, please. Namely, this character.
  21. View File [K1] Republic Soldier's New Shade This mod replaces the vanilla and/or the installed Republic Soldier texture with the new shade-specularity tweaked version. # Background # The way I see it; the vanilla and/or already present Republic Soldier texture lacks some shading and reflection particularly on its trim, so I thought adding ones would somehow enhance its appearance. # About this Mod # Inside this mod are 6 options of new shade and specularity tweaked Republic Soldier texture in TPC format: [Main] New Shade for Male NPC Republic Soldier [Option-1] Vanilla version for JC's "Republic Soldier Fix for K1" - Male and Female * [Option-2] Vanilla Version Model - Female NPC Republic Soldier [Option-3] New Shade for JC's "Republic Soldier Uniform for PC" - Male and Female * [Option-4] Vanilla version for JC's "Republic Soldier Uniform for PC" - Male and Female * [Option-5] New Shade for JC's "Republic Soldier Fix for K1" - Male and Female NPC Republic Soldier * * Option 1, 3, 4 and 5 requires JCarter426/JC's "JC's Republic Soldier Fix for K1" to be installed first. # Final Remarks # There's always room for improvements - critiques, comments, suggestions, questions and feedbacks for the next update are much appreciated - PM, write them on my feed or leave any on the mod's page as you please. And thank you! for downloading, and playing this mod. Hope you enjoy the mod as much as I do! With any mods that is using the same name for the assets and/or potentially overwrite this mod, no compatibility is guaranteed Redistribution: if you want to redistribute the mod - just go with it. 25. View File [K1] Three-tiered Dark Jedi Robe This mod "restores" three-tier appearances of Dark Jedi robe as seen on their icons.
