I have created a simple mod that adds the shadows for robes used in Robes With Shadows For TSL to your K1 game, for those using any of JC's robe mods that adds TSL-style cloaks. Having at least one of the mods listed below is a requirement for this one, and they must be installed beforehand. This is compatible with all included versions of the mods by JC, and any textures you are using with it. 1. JC's Fashion Line I: Cloaked Jedi Robes for K1: for those who want to use the more classic looking Jedi robes of TSL in their K1 game. 2. JC's Fashion Line I: Cloaked Hybrid Robes for K1: for a blend of the K1 and TSL style. 3. JC's Fashion Line I: Cloaked Party Robes for K1: for party member specific robes. Installation: First, install at least one of the mods listed above if you have not already. This mod is specifically for people using one of those mods. If you would like to create backups of that mod's original files, just create a copy of the files listed below, before installing the versions that come with this mod. To install this mod, download the 7z file and unzip anywhere on your computer. You can extract 7z files with native programs like Archive Utility on macOS, or with free programs like PeaZip on Windows and Linux. Once the files is unzipped, find the subfolder with the name corresponding to which JC mod you are using, and copy all files within to the override folder of your game, found in the same directory as your main game executable. For Steam installations, this would be "Steam\steamapps\common\swkotor\override". When prompted, overwrite the versions of the files currently in your override with the new versions. Uninstallation: Remove the files in the Included Files list below from your override. Which files you have can vary by which JC mod you are using. Included Files: -PFBIL.mdl -PFBIL.mdx -PFBIM.mdl -PFBIM.mdx -PFBIS.mdl -PFBIS.mdx -PMBIL.mdl -PMBIL.mdx -PMBIM.mdl -PMBIM.mdx -PMBIS.mdl -PMBIS.mdx -JC_BastilaBI.mdl -JC_BastilaBI.mdx -JC_JoleeBI.mdl -JC_JoleeBI.mdx -JC_JuhaniBI.mdl -JC_JuhaniBI.mdx Compatibility: Users should expect full compatibility with any other mods, so long as they do not modify/replace the above files. Texture mods do not typically pose compatibility issues for mods like this. This mod requires either JC's Fashion Line I: Cloaked Jedi Robes for K1, JC's Fashion Line I: Cloaked Hybrid Robes for K1, or JC's Fashion Line I: Cloaked Party Robes for K1 to be installed first. Acknowledgments: Big thanks to JCarter for his port of TSL robes to K1, and for giving the community permission to work with his models. The robes included here are just the ones from his mod with edited skeletons, so most of the work here was done for me. I also want to thank Symmetric, Purifier, Ndix UR, and seedhartha for making importing to Blender simple using KotORBlender, modeling work would be much tougher without you guys. I would like to thank Salk as well, for suggesting this mod. This modification is not supported by Bioware, Lucasarts, Disney or any licensers/sponsors thereof. Use of this modification is at your own risk and neither the aforementioned companies nor the author may be held responsible for any damages caused to your computer via this modification's usage.
  3. View File KotOR1 Companion Fix This mod corrects companion stats. For example HK-47 is level 6 when he joins you but he only has 66 HP, this is not the correct value , 78 is. The mod corrects these kind of tiny bugs and makes companion stats what they should have been to begin with. Also makes dark side Bastila level 3. She has the same feats and skills as before, but dark side powers instead of light side ones. (Stun -> Fear, Force Aura -> Wound) WARNING: To make the mod as compatible as possible with other mods the installer tries to edit the unk_m44ac.mod file by default. This means if you have a mod that uses this file the installer will run just fine. But if you don’t have a mod that contains this file, you will get an error message, this is normal, just ignore it. Requires a new game to work. Submitter GearHead Submitted 12/27/2023 Category Mods K1R Compatible Yes

  7. View File K1 Better Twi'lek Male Heads This mod intends to address key issues with male Twi'lek heads in KOTOR I, most notably the addition of ear geometry. Both the ear meshes and textures included in this mod are modified ports from SWTOR, which improve ear shape and texture quality. Additional improvements include better smoothing groups, non-clipping teeth and eyelids, and recolored tongues. There are two options for installation. Option A models feature "slim" necks, while Option B models retain unaltered "blubber" necks. I highly recommend the first option as it fixes clipping with heavy armor collars, but feel free to choose the second if you prefer that look. There are no other differences between the two. Given the frequency of Twi'lek NPCs, this mod is a nice visual improvement, and the addition of ear meshes keeps consistency with other head models in the game. There's also a KOTOR II version available here. Installation & Uninstallation To install this mod, drag the files from either the Option A folder or Option B folder to the Override folder located in your game's directory. Then, drag files from the Textures folder to the Override folder as well. If you're updating from an older version, make sure to delete any TGA and TXI files of the same names beforehand. Only place the twilek_m05 files in your Override folder if you have the KOTOR 1 Community Patch installed. Otherwise, they won't do anything. To uninstall this mod, delete the files from your game's Override folder. There's a list of files included in the download's readme.txt for reference. Compatibility & Known Issues This mod will not be compatible with any retextures for Twi'lek male heads. This mod is compatible with both the K1 Community Patch and K1 NPC Overhaul Mod. Either or both of those must be installed prior to installing this. This mod is incorporated into N-DReW's K1 Gameplay Improvement DEM, so separate installation is unnecessary. Credits Fred Tetra, Kotor Tool bead-v, KOTORmax & MDLedit ndix UR, tga2tpc The GIMP Team, GIMP Autodesk, 3ds Max Darth Parametric, Upper teeth no-clip fix Thanks to Darth Parametric, ebmar, and JCarter426 for assisting in identifying issues and troubleshooting during the making of this mod. 8. I'll try to keep this short, but is there any way to fix the wrong unique placeables with Brotherhood of Shadow? It appears the unique models are being replaced by other models, as seen below: I followed this guide, and haven't had any notable issues aside from a few cutscenes not automatically playing, but otherwise is going along smoothly. I can "deal" with this if there is no feasible solution, but I want to see if it's possible to fix this issue. Thank you!
  9. View File KotorDiff A simple CLI to easily compare KOTOR file formats. This is a very simple CLI to PyKotor. If you find TSLPatcher isn't patching the resulting files in the way you want, you can use this tool to compare your manual changes to the resulting TSLPatcher result. You can also use it to compare entire installations, directories, or single files. How to use: Simply run the executable. It'll ask you for 3 paths: PATH1 Path to the first K1/TSL install, file, or directory to diff. PATH2 Path to the second K1/TSL install, file, or directory to diff. OUTPUT_LOG File name/path of the desired output logfile (defaults to log_install_differ.log in the current directory) If you point PATH1 and PATH2 to two KOTOR installs, it will ONLY compare the Override folder, the Modules folder, the Lips folder, the rims folder (if exists), the StreamWaves/StreamVoices folder, and the dialog.tlk file. This was a design choice to improve how long the differ takes to finish. This includes any subfolders within the aforementioned folder names. Supported filetypes/formats: TalkTable files (TLK) Any GFF file (DLG, UTC, etc) Any capsule (ERF, MOD, etc) Not supported: NCS, NSS Any file format that's not supported will have its SHA256 hash compared instead. CLI Support: This is a very flexible tool. You can send it command line arguments if you would like to use it in a 3rd party tool. Run `kotordiff.exe --help` to get a full syntax. If there's an error, the exit code will be 1. If the two paths match, the exit code will be 0. If the two paths don't match, exit code will be 2. FAQ: Couldn't I just open my two files with Holocron Toolset/ERFEdit/K-GFF etc? You could, but for me it became tedious to manually compare them side by side, expanding every node etc. Leave alone completely multiple files. This tool allows you to simply input two paths and have the full differences outputted and logged. A main benefit is it'll show you the exact GFF paths that differ. Output such as `Missing struct: "EntryList\5\RepliesList\3" {contents of the struct}` has been very useful. Why is my antivirus is flagging this? This is a false-positive and there's nothing I can do. Python source scripts are compiled to executables using PyInstaller, but unfortunately some antivirus's have been known to flag anything compiled with PyInstaller this way. The problem is similar to why your browser may warn you about downloading any files with the .EXE extension. This whole tool is open source, feel free to run directly from the source script: https://github.com/th3w1zard1/PyKotor/blob/master/Tools/KotorDiff/src/__main__.py There's a well-written article explaining why the false positives happen on their issue template: https://github.com/pyinstaller/pyinstaller/blob/develop/.github/ISSUE_TEMPLATE/antivirus.md TLDR: PyInstaller is an amazing tool, but antiviruses may flag it. This is not the fault of PyInstaller or my tool, but rather the fault of how some scummy users have chosen to use PyInstaller in the past. Please report any false positives you encounter to your antivirus's website, as reports not only improve the accuracy of everybody's AV experience overall, but also indirectly supports the PyInstaller project. Source code: https://github.com/th3w1zard1/PyKotor/blob/master/Tools/KotorDiff/src/__main__.py Credit: @Cortisol for creating the PyKotor library (i.e., 90% of the code for this tool) Submitter th3w1zard1 Submitted 09/30/2023 Category Modder's Resources

They're are 10 new modules in total and a great new storyline. 2 Installation ----------------- Simply run the new installer. If you also want the MotOR Yavin launcher copy the Launcher folder to your KotOR directory. 3 Uninstallation ----------------- Just remove all these files from the relevent folders in your K1 directory. 4 Future Releases -------------------- -Voice Overs for non alien species Of course if there is any bugs or errors these will be assessed as well. 5 Bugs ------ None that i know of, if you find any PM me at Holowan Labs please. There is, however, the issues that crop up with other mods installed, most notably with Brotherhood Of Shadow. This patcher version may correct some issues with that, but probably not all. I reccomend that you install Yavin IV first, then Brotherhood Of Shadow. 6 Adknowledgements ------------------ A massive thanks to the original creators of the Yavin mod (MotOR) and allowing me to translate the mod. A boatload of thanks to Fred Tetra for creating the awesome and simple to use kotor editing tool. Also thank you ĐeceptiKain for your excellent work on the translations, without you this wouldn't have happened. And a very appreciative thanks to the many friendly and informative people at the Lucasforums Holowan Laboratories board who have shown and or helped me to learn how to do stuff like this. And another thank you to EGJason who got the mod to TSLPatcher state. 7 Permissions ------------------- This mod may only be used/modified with my consent. 8 Website ------------------- Visit my website to see what other mods I have created and what I will be doing in the future. http://masterzionosiskotorsite.com 9 Spoilers ------------------- There are quite a few puzzles, riddles and secrets in the mod, many that made me even think that the mod was 'broken', well I have play tested the entire mod and after going through the messy process of decompiling certain scripts I found out that the mod does work properly. To complete certain things you will have to concentrate considerably on what you have recently done or aquired. If you do get completely stuck consult this table below -The door that does not open in Exar Kun's Tomb in the Chamber Of Spirits is actually a mirage, you can walk through it after you have aquired the crystal of darkness. -The most tricky part of the mod is the door puzzle, it is completeable but quite tricky to get your head round, it took me about 30 mins to figure it out, so if you figure it out straight away then maybe I'm just stupid. But here is the combination if you get stuck: Open door 5, then open door 3, kill the spirits, then go back and open door 4, then door 1 will be open. These are the only tricky parts I can remember, if you find any more don't hesitate to ask in the project thread at Lucasforums. The Mandalorian Ripper shoots laser bolts from the ground. 2. The Baragwin Distruptor-X Weapon is invisible. This mod aims to fix these problems. You still need to install the original mod and then this one. (If you have the Mandalorian Ripper or the Baragwin Distruptor-X Weapon in your inventory already, then you need to remove them and then add them back with the KotOR Savegame Editor.) K1 Movie-Style Dark Side Transitions 3.0 Background: This is a part of a larger upscale project for a set of mods that was released in the early days of KOTOR modding by the iconic ShemL. Here in 2023, with the abundance of upscale work being done on many of the game's textures, I found some of my favorite mods to be left behind with it's original textures which did not seem to mesh well with modern wide-screen play. I decided to upscale this mod along with some others that I do plan on releasing for public use. All files have been 4x'ed in size with the goal of increasing the quality and pixel density of the images to be more in line with the upscaled texture mods we see today. (Think Ultimate Character Overhaul by ShiningRedHD.) All credit goes to Shem, the previous author for all of the hard work and originality. I will note, I have included two of my own personal edits to one of the male heads. Included in a separate folder. I hope the community enjoys this revival as much as I have. With Shem authorizing the use of his assets in other creations, be on the lookout for other upscaling projects from me in the future. For others that want to use Shem's assets, or question whether or not this should be done, please visit this reddit comment detailing his permission regarding the use of his work in other releases. https://www.reddit.com/r/kotor/comments/11p0me0/looking_to_contact_shem_an_inactive_mod_author/ Installation Instructions: Drag and drop .tga files into override. Overwrite when prompted. CREDITS: ShemL - For the original files and inspiration. Source Files:

Coauthored with oldflash. Now available for KotOR I, a mere thirteen years after the original TSL release, thanks to the magic of MDLEdit. This mod adds a whole set of new short lightsabres - one for each lightsabre colour available in the game, and their crystals to the game. They can be found by the workbench in the Enclave on Dantooine, but only after you leave the Enclave for the first time after becoming a Jedi. The box is spawned when you speak to the droid at the exit from the Enclave and it says “The Council has decreed you may come and go as you please” for the first time. For the mod to work, you need to have not been to Dantooine yet, or at least, not undergone Jedi training. Installation Just double-click on the "Install "Fork" Short Lightsabres" icon to begin the installation. Do not attempt manual installation - it will not work. Don't worry about fiddling with the Source Scripts or Screenshots folders - they are not required for the mod to run. Known Conflicts As far as I know, this mod shouldn't conflict with many that are out there, but will conflict with any mod which alters the file dan13_jdroid.dlg. So far as I am aware, the only mod to alter that file was a robe mod which is no longer available, so this issue shouldn’t arise. Known Bugs None that I know of at present. Again, please let me know if you find any.

This mod comes in 2 parts, and since these parts are optional you'll be given two installation options. The "K2 to K1 Clothing Install" shall install the ported K2 clothing component of the pack whilst the "K1EP Clothing Install" shall install the K1EP component of the mod, for more details on these installations please refer to the "Description" section of this readme. Click which install you'd like to install, click install, sit back and watch the TSLPatcher do its magic. Once the installer has finished, click the INSTALL.exe again and repeat this process. Description: In terms of commoner clothing, Obsidian added various new outfits for their NPCs in Kotor 2. The default 'potato sack' outfit was given a stylish facelift, the bloodied Outcast outfit was replaced with the Refugee outfits we see today and on Telos we saw the introduction of a new noble outfit. This mod will port those Kotor 2 clothing textures to Kotor 1... but with a twist! The Kotor 1 Community Patch does the same thing as Obsidian did, it replaced K1's 'potato sack' outfit "N_CommM01" with Kotor 2's default outfit and Gendar's bloodied Outcast outfit "N_CommM07" was replaced with an Refugee outfit. This mod won't do that, instead, K1's 'potato sack' and K2's default clothing shall be two different outfits NPCs can wear. The removal of the clothing replacement is most pronounced in the Outcast village where almost every NPC now wears a Refugee outfit instead of the K1 bloodied Outcast outfit... except for the Outcasts infected with the Rakghoul disease, their clothing shall still use the K1 bloodied Outcast outfit texture. This mod shall also add the K2 noble outfit, but even this outfit has a twist of its own! In K2, the male noble outfit was blue whilst the female noble outfit was purple... in this mod, you will find 2 noble outfits across the galaxy: a blue male and female noble outfit and a purple male and female outfit. In the latest 1.1 update, I've added the new clothing from the K1 Enhancement Pack modder's resource. This will come in the form of an alternative installation which will work great with the previous K2 to K1 Clothing component. In addition to the K1EP clothing, I've added compatibility for the latest update of the Restored Content for K1CP Demo, if you have that mod installed the new clothing added in this mod shall be gloveless as they are in that mod. If you aren't familiar with any of the above mentioned outfits, please check the screenshots on the mod page so you'll know whether or not this mod is for you.
