Please use this version designed for KotOR1 instead.] Description: So . . . this is the second part of another mod that I’ve had on my computer/s for some time but I hadn’t gotten around to putting out there to the public. Until now. This all started out with getting higher resolution icons for crystals in TSL. Now that I’ve successfully had a decent trial run with the KOTOR1 Polished Crystals Icon Pack, the KotOR2 version is finally ready. I found source pictures of many crystals over the years and took care to try and match the color, crystal type and - when possible – even the orientation of the crystal to match what you saw in the vanilla game. From the pictures you’ve (hopefully) seen on the download page, you’ll notice that some of the crystals appear to be duplicated. That’s how it is handled in the game and it wasn’t an error on my part.   15. Greetings, fellow Jedi! Happy New Year, and hope y'all having a good time.  I need an assistance to solve this problem I'm having with newly added items to the game. In my current playthrough I'm looking to have inyriforge's "The Real Vibroblade" installed. But instead of replacing the Vibroblades model and 2DA row like her default mod did; I intent to add a new row to the baseitems.2da, so the original model still available in the game and at the same time adds a new weapon to choose for. So far in my attempt, the weapon is functioning nicely and works as intended as seen below in the screenshot: But yes, the icon wasn't showed properly- and that's what I'm about to ask. Below is a glimpse of view to the item's setup inside the baseitems.2da and on its UTI: I have tried with changing the 'defaulticon' value to almost anything but still the icon wasn't showed so, I think I'm stuck and is looking forwards to any constructive feedback I could have here. I hope the information provided is enough for a troubleshooting, and many thanks for considering this!  Edit: For additional information; the icon texture is labeled as iw_Vbldeshort_xxx, and they're in DDS format.

View File [K1] Cool Saber Icons This mod replaces all the saber icons [Mantle of the Force, Heart of the Guardian and Malak's Lightsaber included] with the all new Cool Saber Icons. -= BACKGROUND =- When I switch around the lightsabers on the equip-list menu I had noticed that the blue lightsaber icons wasn't blue enough -- it was more purple than blue for this eyes, so I decided to make it blue, similar to the blade's color. The color of the icons were inspired by JCarter426's "JC's Lightsaber Visual Effects", the K1 version in particular. In the end not only the color that was changed, but the overall style of all the icons as well. -= ABOUT THIS MOD =- Inside this mod are 22 new Cool Saber Icons in TPC format -- covering all the available [saber] icons [including the unobtainable Malak's] in vanilla game. Preview -- As in v2.0.0 the hilts were rendered using VarsityPuppet's "Hi Poly Tin Cans" [ported to K1 by Fallen Guardian] enhanced by DarthParametric's "Alternative Textures". DP did the neat work as well on rendering them for me to repurpose as icons. As for the background bits I used and combined the TOR assets ported and provided by Magnetiicz. -- provided as well user-friendly TGA/DDS/TXI cleaner and mod-uninstaller for convenience purpose. -= FINAL REMARKS =- As it stands now Malak's Lightsaber is unobtainable in-game in a regular way. However, you can use cheat-console then type for giveitem g_w_lghtsbr06 to get one. I planned on allowing players to obtain one in-game sometimes in the future -- probably with the next update. There's always room for improvements; reviews, critiques, comments, suggestions, questions and feedbacks are much appreciated.   18. I am working with SpaceAlex's K1 Enhancement Pack and while I like how some of the armors look, there are others that I don't like. Particularly his version of the Bronzium Light Battle Armor and the Enviromental Bastion Armor. Inside my override folder are several textures and .mdl and .mdx files. How do I know which files are associated with which armor sets?

Updates will be found, and feedback should be directed, there. Summary This mod modifies the Mandalorian Armors found in KotOR, and fixes a few of the issues present. Most of these items were cut from the game, and this mod makes no attempt to restore them, however any mod that does will benefit from these fixes. There are 3 files in this mod, and each fixes a seperate issue. First, the icon for Mandalorian Armor (cut from the game), doesn't resemble the armor at all. It looks like a modified version of Cassus Fett's armor, but the armor doesn't look like Cassus Fett's. It is also a Class 9 style armor icon (i.e. 9 defense, 0 dex bonus), but the Mandalorian Armor is a Class 8 armor (i.e. 8 defense, 1 dex bonus). Class 8 armor icons lack the large shoulders of Class 9 icons. The icon for Mandalorian Battle Armor (found in various parts of the game) is fine, and resembles the armor, however it is in the style of Class 8 armor, and features very limited shoulders. I have moved this icon to the Class 8 Mandalorian Armor, and made a new icon for the Class 9 Mandalorian Battle Armor. This new icon is a merged and color matched version of the old Mandalorian Battle Armor icon, and the yellow Mandalorian Heavy Armor icon. Lastly, the Mandalorian Assault Armor (found on the unknown world) now uses its intended appearance (which it also uses in KotOR 2). Normally in the game it is a disguise item, which makes the player into a standard blue Mandalorian. This doesn't make any sense considering it is supposed to be reserved for elite troopers. Features Mandalorian Assault Armor now uses its intended appearance, as seen in KotOR 2 Mandalorian Armor now uses the icon of Mandalorian Battle Armor, as it shared the design of the Class 8 armor icon Mandalorian Battle Armor has a new icon, composited from the Mandalorian Heavy Armor icon, and the old Mandalorian Battle Armor icon Requirements & Compatibility Put the 3 files in the Override This should be compatible with everything Recommended Mods Armor Accurate Mandalorians makes all the NPC Mandalorians use textures similar to the armors obtainable by the player Mandalorian Assault Armor Restoration is not compatible (this mod implements a similar change to the Assault Armor) Other Links If you would like to know what else I am working on, you can follow me on my Twitter.
