View File Kinrath Egg Fix In the first version of the game on Dantooine in the Crystal Cave, if you destroyed the Kinrath Eggs, you gained dark side points, which was stupid, so in a patch they changed it, and now you gain red lightsaber crystals instead of dark side points, which is equally stupid. So i changed it to 25xp and a small chance to get poisoned. Submitter GearHead Submitted 09/26/2024 Category Mods K1R Compatible Yes

This mod issues a minor improvement for Lashowe's and Shaleena's heads in KOTOR so that the upper teeth are no longer hidden while talking. Shaleena's head will not be affected by this mod unless you are using KOTOR 1 Restoration, K1 NPC Overhaul, or any other mod that restores her unique appearance. Installation & Uninstallation To install this mod, drag the files in 'Override' to the override folder located in your game's directory. To uninstall this mod, delete the files listed at the end of readme.rtf from your game's override folder. Compatibility & Known Issues This mod should be compatible with any retextures for these heads but not mods that affect the same model files. This mod addresses several issues with Jedi Malak's mouth in KOTOR II. Fixes include getting rid of the white box in his mouth, correcting the texture used for his tongue, connecting gaps, enlarging upper/lower teeth, & adjusting the placement of all of the above. As pointed out by JCarter426, Jedi Malak's model also used the wrong supermodel, which I've fixed in this mod as well. All seriousness aside, my intention with this mod is to ensure that Malak's mouth is only a disaster post-contact with Revan's lightsaber. Installation & Uninstallation To install this mod, drag the files in "Override" to the override folder in your game's directory. To uninstall this mod, delete n_jedimalek.mdl & n_jedimalek.mdx from your game's override folder. Compatibility & Known Issues When entering the Korriban cave tomb, Malak's tongue will appear half white. This is due to the lighting where he's standing & most likely can't be fixed. A Mod for Star Wars Knights of The Old Republic II The Sith Lords Author: N-DReW25 Release Date: 17.03.2017 Installation: Double Click the TSLPatcher.exe and let it do its magic Uninstallation: Remove or Delete the "p_baodur.utc", "p_disciple.utc", "p_handmaiden.utc", "p_hk47.utc" and "p_mand.utc". When the TSLPatcher installs the mod correctly it generates a backups folder within the Heavy Weapons Feat Restoration folder that contains the TSLPatcher. Open the backups folder and copy the "baseitems.2da" and "feat.2da" to the override folder overriding the Heavy Weapons Feat Restoration files If you have any problems be sure to contact me for support Description: Kotor 2 is known for a ton of cut content. The TSLRCM restores most of that content but there were some they left behind due to it being not restorable or not necessary. However, if you have sharp eyes you might notice the Heavy Weapons Feats are not in game, instead heavy repeating blasters have the blaster rifle feat instead. This is likely intentional by Obsidian as a heavy repeating blaster is technically a blaster rifle but when I discovered the icons I made it my priority to restore this small bit of cut content that TSLRCM doesn't even mention. WARNING: In the TSLPatcher I had an error message saying "Warning: Invalid column label "File1" encountered! Skipping entry..."! I have no idea what this means but it doesn't look to be too bad in game. If any problems do arise or if you know the reason behind this message please tell me immediately so I can hope to fix it Currently, only Bao Dur, Handmaiden, Disciple, HK-47 and Mandalore have the feats. If you want your main character to have the feats you must give it to them on the level up screen Also, ALL heavy repeating blasters will require this new feat instead of the Blaster Rifle Feat. This means there is a low chance of an NPC having no weapon since it doesn't have the new feat and cannot wield his heavy repeating blaster. If you spot these please let me know so I can fix them Recommendations: I highly recommend using Kainzorus Prime's TSL Fixed Proficiency/Focus Feat mod in conjunction with this one- http://deadlystream.com/forum/files/file/420-tsl-fixed-proficiencyfocus-feat-icons/ Known Bugs: this mod shouldn't have bugs but if there is Just PM me on Deadlystream. Incompatibilities: The TSLPatcher will make it compatible with nearly any mod...but if you do find an incompatible mod please alert me so I can put it in the readme Permissions: Do NOT claim credit for this mod and do not use it in your own mods without my permission Thanks: Bioware for such an amazing game, Fred Tetra for Kotor Tool, Fair Strides for helping me get the Feat to appear on the character creation screen and everyone who downloads the mod. Bastila Romance Scriptfix for Kotor 1 (GOG/retail) by Markus Ramikin version 1.1 ******************* Readme contents ******************* I. The bugs (SPOILERS) II. The bugs - technical description III. Installation IV. Other mods V. Old savegames VI. Changelog VII. Disclaimers and permissions. ************************* I. The bugs (SPOILERS) ************************* After you've kissed Bastila, you can have a final conversation with her where the romance gets put on hold "until Malak is defeated". Two later dialogs potentially have lines that bring up the romance. These dialogs have bugs: First, confronting Evil Bastila on Temple Summit, on Rakata: - if you've had that post-kiss conversation with her, the game will not recognize the romance, and you will miss out on certain dialog options. Second, the final confrontation with Bastila on the Star Forge has an opposite problem: - If you've sunk the romance completely, for example by saying "Sorry, Bastila, that starship won't fly", the game will mistakenly give you the romance dialogue option. Of course Kotor 1 players have known for years that Bastila's romance is buggy, and several attempted fixes already exist. But these modify Bastila's dialog file from the Ebon Hawk conversations, so 1. they don't fix the second situation, on the Star Forge, and 2. they don't help a player whose savegame is already past the kiss+conversation part. This modification fixes both situations directly. Now you will get romance-related dialogue options on Rakata and the Star Forge regardless of whether you've discussed the kiss with her afterwards, but you will not get these options if you've shot her down. ************************************* II. The bugs - technical description (you may safely skip this) ************************************* The romance is controlled by the variable K_SWG_BASTILA. Once you've completed Bastila's plot it should have one of these values: K_SWG_BASTILA = 12: kissed Bastila = romance active K_SWG_BASTILA = 13: kissed Bastila AND talked afterwards = romance active K_SWG_BASTILA = 99: romance sunk (or unavailable because the PC is female) The Temple Summit dialog only recognizes the romance if the value is 12, which is why common advice to players is to not talk to Bastila after the kiss. The Star Forge dialog only recognizes the romance if the value is greater than 12, which means it will mistakenly recognize it even if it's 99, and may fail to recognize it if you didn't talk to Bastila after the kiss. To further complicate things, some of the Temple Summit dialog's endings run a script that sets the value to 13, even when it was 99. This mistakenly restores a killed romance for players who wanted to just stay friends. My fixed scripts recognize the romance at values 12 and 13 in both dialogs, as well as prevent the mistaken reactivation when it was 99. **************** III. Installation **************** Unzip, copy the files from Override into your game's Override folder. ***************** IV. Other mods ***************** Compatible with any mod out there that doesn't modify the same script files, or redesign the romance too much (i.e. the K_SWG_BASTILA variable behaves the same way). Compatible with K1R. At the time I'm writing this K1R contains a different Bastila romance fix, but that simply becomes irrelevant if my mod is present. Its changes to Bastila's dialog file neither hurt nor help. For authors of mods that allow a female PC x Bastila romance: I provide a version of my fix that removes the gender check. "Use it well. Use it for good." Players should note that this does NOT automatically make my fix compatible with such mods - it depends on how these mods are written. Consult the authors to be sure. The mod was tested with the GOG version, and I expect it'll work fine with the old retail/CD versions too. I will not be testing the Steam version, and I make no guarantees about it at all. (PSA: Don't get gaming classics from Steam, kids - good old games are the speciality of Good Old Games, duh.) ******************** V. Old savegames ******************** Compatible with pre-existing savegames, including past the kiss+conversation on the Ebon Hawk, up until the Temple Summit confrontation with Dark Bastila. Savegames from past the Temple Summit may fail to benefit from the fix fully, especially if your character's relationship with Bastila is supposed to be platonic. ***************** VI. Changelog ***************** 1.0 -> 1.1: - Players who were deliberately NOT romancing Bastila could still sometimes get romantic lines in the second confrontation, on the Star Forge. This is properly fixed now; there was one more offending script to take care of. - [by request] added a variant without a gender check, so that this fix can (potentially) be used with mods that allow a female x Bastila romance. ************************************ VII. Disclaimers and permissions. ************************************ The usual stuff applies. The mod is provided as-is and with no guarantees; by installing it, you accept it may melt your computer, cause nuclear war, and hasten the heat death of the Universe. Distribute freely, including incorporating it in your mods, as long as you give credit. -

This is a fix for a number of issues present on the supermodels, the stock animations used for most characters in the game. When wielding dual melee weapons, male hands would clip through the weapons for some animations, notably the looping ready pose. The issue seemed to be that the fingers were gripping the weapon too tightly, so I loosened them up for the male models. If you think you've spotted any other issues, send me a picture so I can confirm what the problem is and whether it's an issue with the supermodels. If so, I'll add it to my to-do list.- 13 comments

List of changes: Class changes: - Soldiers no longer gain defense bonuses leveling up, only Mandalore, but he is a separate class now. - Swapped Combat Droid and Expert Droid feat gain tables. (more feats for HK-47, less for T3-M4 and G0-T0) - Fixed Sith Marauder defense bonuses. - Fixed Sith Lord defense bonuses. Bao-Dur: - He wears clothes now. (He looks the same with and without clothes, so this change is kind of pointless.) - He had 48 force points by default even though he is not a Jedi at the beginning, this was changed to 0. Disciple: - Stealth Skill 5 -> 0 - Awareness Skill 8 -> 5 - Treat Injury Skill 8 -> 4 - He no longer has an invisible 'Superior Weapon Focus: Lightsaber II' feat. - He had 24 force points by default even though he is not a Jedi at the beginning, this was changed to 0. HK-47: - Hit Points 72 -> 78 - Demolitions Skill 5 -> 9 - Awareness Skill 5 -> 9 - Repair Skill 6 -> 9 - He has Improved Power Blast now to match the number of feats Combat Droids gain on their first 6 levels. - Swapped Combat Droid and Expert Droid feat gain tables. (more feats for HK-47, less for T3-M4 and G0-T0) - Fixed his dual wield power blast. Mandalore: - Awareness Skill 5 -> 4 - Persuade Skill 2 -> 0 - Treat Injury Skill 9 -> 8 - He no longer belongs to the 'Soldier' class. I made him a new class called 'Mandalorian'. This way he can retain his defense bonuses provided by the 'Mandalorian Courage' feat. (No other changes compared to the 'Soldier' class.) Mira: - Computer Use Skill 8 -> 9 - Demolitions Skill 8 -> 9 - Awareness Skill 8 -> 9 - Repair Skill 8 -> 9 - She has the 'Armor Proficiency: Medium' feat by default now. - Her 'Critikal Strike' feat was swapped out to 'Flurry'. As some of you know, K1 was released free on Amazon Games for Prime users recently. Unfortunately, the release is bugged and partially broken. Here are the steps to fix it: First, find out where your game is located on disk. Default path is: C:\Amazon Games\Library\Star Wars - Knights of the Old Download and extract the provided ZIP, and copy and replace those files into your game's miles folder, backing up if you ever want to revert the changes. backup and delete the following files from your miles folder: mssds3d.flt, msseax.flt, mssogg.asi **copy** mss32.dll from the miles folder into the same directory as swkotor.exe, overwriting when prompted. Back up the original if you want to revert. The Editable EXE is required from here on out, the amazon swkotor.exe will **not** work after these changes. Download it, backup swkotor.exe, and replace Remove Disable Movies=1 and Disable Sound = 1 from the swkotor.ini (or set them to 0) Your game should now have fully working audio and movies! The files provided here in the .zip are from the steam version of the game, other versions of the game have the exact same files. For some reason only the Amazon release is different. -

View File JC's Supermodel Fix for K2 This is a fix for a number of issues present on the supermodels, the stock animations used for most characters in the game. First, Obsidian added several combat animation variations for K2, but they messed up a couple of the names, causing the game to play animations that don't exist and resulting in characters freezing in place. This mod fixes that. Second, the animations for dual blasters had the hand objects in the incorrect positions. For male characters, the blasters would clip through the hands, and for female characters they would hover above the hands. I've restored them to the positions they were in K1. Third, when wielding dual melee weapons, male hands would clip through the weapons for some animations, notably the looping ready pose. The issue seemed to be that the fingers were gripping the weapon too tightly, so I loosened them up for the male models. I have also added an option to change the melee running animations to match how they are in K1. I included this as an optional part of the installation as it's an issue of preference rather than a straightforward fix. If you think you've spotted any other issues, send me a picture so I can confirm what the problem is and whether it's an issue with the supermodels. If so, I'll add it to my to-do list. View File Party Model Fixes For K1, Part II Those of you familiar with Party Model Fixes by redrob41 know it is a cool mod that fixes up some of the game's models for your K1 party members. Cool enough that I figured it was time for a sequel -- we are going to do even more fixing up of our compatriots: Carth: His unique outfit has a holster which hung by some leather that was missing a texture on one side, rendering it invisible from certain angles. This fixes up that issue, alongside some bonus texture mapping fixes to his opposite pouch and jacket, including the collar fix that redrob41 worked on in their original mod. Zaalbar: Our wookiee friend had some hairs that went missing depending on the angle, again due to missing textures on the opposite sides of some geometry. This fixes that right up, alongside some other messy texture mapping for some of his fur. Jolee: Sometimes Jolee likes to just hang out in a swim suit, socks, and... some kind of bizarre ankle brace. I could not tell you what it does, but it is unlikely to be doing its job given that it disappears when viewed from the other side. This fixes up another classic case of one-sided texture syndrome, and makes some small improvements to texture mapping. Mission: Originally Mission was set to just use adult models when wearing various armors, likely due to time constraints. Therefore, I have made some alternate armor models more suitable for a kid to use. These are just edited versions of the vanilla models, with similar texture mapping, so it is all very vanilla-looking and compatible with any texture mods. This will add the new models to your game and set her appearance.2da row to use them. Her unique models in vanilla are fixed up less noticeably to reflect the changes, and include similar texture mapping fixes to the arms that redrob41 did. This mod is intended to be installed after redrob41's Party Model Fixes, but does not require it to work. All changes will be applied immediately, and do not require that you start a new game. Installation: Download the included .7z file and extract it anywhere of your choosing on your computer. You can unzip a .7z file with tools such as Archive Utility on MacOs, or by with free programs like PeaZip on Windows and Linux. Simply run this installer, directing it to the location of your main game folder with the executable. For Steam installations, this would be "Steam\steamapps\common\swkotor". The installer is an .exe file, which Windows can run natively. Mac and Linux users might consider checking out Cortisol's HoloPatcher -- a new tool that is meant as a cross-platform alternative to traditional KotOR mod installers. Alternatively, executable files can be run on Mac or Linux with programs using tools such as Wine. If you are having trouble with either of those options, I have included some instructions for manual installation in the download's "ReadMe" file. If you happened to have previously installed another mod which placed an appearance.2da file in your override folder, the installer will give you a warning reporting as much upon completion. This is of no concern -- so long as you get no other warnings or errors, the mod is installed correctly and ready-to-go. The mod will overwrite any conflicting model files (.mdl/.mdx) in your override folder, but not any appearance.2da file it finds there, merely edit the existing one. Be sure to back up anything you want to keep ahead of time. The Included Files list below contains all the files that will be installed to the override folder. Uninstallation: Delete all of the files listed below from your override folder. If you had an appearance.2da file in your override folder prior to installing, you can find a backup version in the mod's "backup" folder, which was automatically created during installation, and place that in your override. If you are unsure whether or not a previous mod had put that file there or not, it is better to make use of the backup. Included Files: Compatibility: This mod is fully compatible with any mod which does not replace any of the model files (.mdl/.mdx) listed above. Files that edit appearance.2da are compatible so long as they do not change Mission's armor model cells. If you intend to install Party Model Fixes by redrob41, I recommend doing so before installing this mod, or what you install here will be overwritten. Expect compatibility with most any texture/reskin mods -- so long as they do not replace models (.mdl/.mdx files) as well as textures, there should be no conflict. Acknowledgments: Thanks to seedhartha, NdixUR, Symmetric, and Purifier for making importing to Blender simple using KotORBlender, and Cortisol for making file extraction easy with the Holocron Toolset. I would also like to thank Stoffe and Fair Strides for making inter-mod compatibility infinitely more feasible with TSLPatcher. Shout-out to ConansHair for pointing out that weird bright spot on Zaalbar's rump. This modification is not supported by Obsidian Entertainment, Lucasarts, Disney or any licensers/sponsors thereof. Use of this modification is at your own risk and neither the aforementioned companies nor the author may be held responsible for any damages caused to your computer via this modification's usage. View File Ultimate Ebon Hawk Repairs for K1 When dealing with crime lords, beware. Davik Kang's prize ship has a state-of-the-art security system -- it is filled with hulls gaps to suffocate the lungs and texturing errors to boggle the mind. If we want to get the Ebon Hawk flying safely, we ought to patch things up. The goal of this mod was to provide all of the same fixes provided by Ultimate Ebon Hawk Repairs For TSL to your K1 game. This mod patches the same issues as Ebon Hawk K1 Fixes 2.0 by ndix UR, as well as many of the others I worked on for TSL. The latest version includes some big improvements to the alignment of the ship's geometry and animations to the monitor textures it uses. I have included in the download a folder labelled "Animated Monitors"; these files serve provide significantly higher-quality alignments to those using either "Animated Ebon Hawk Monitors (not including Galaxy Map)" or "More Subtle Animated Ebon Hawk Monitors (still not including Galaxy Map)" by Sith Holocron, Dark Hope, and Xarwarz. I personally recommend using those texture mods for the monitors, and installing the contents of the included "Animated Monitors" folder to your override folder after installing the rest. See the Installation section for more details. If you would like to simply remove the blinking animations entirely, you can find an alternate version of the mod for download in PapaZinos' Alternates to do just that. Installation: Download the 7z file and extract the contents of the "To Override" folder to your game's override folder, found in the same directory as your main game executable. For Steam installations, this would be "Steam\steamapps\common\swkotor". 7z files can be extracted with Archive Utility on macOS, or with programs like PeaZip on Windows and Linux. For those using my monitor texture mods of choice, either "Animated Ebon Hawk Monitors (not including Galaxy Map)" or "More Subtle Animated Ebon Hawk Monitors (still not including Galaxy Map)" by Sith Holocron, Dark Hope, and Xarwarz, make sure to install the contents of the included "Animated Monitors" folder to your override. To install, simply copy the files included in the "Animation Fix Edition" subfolder to your override after copying the files from the "To Override" folder. Select "replace" when prompted. Uninstallation: Remove the files in the Included Files list below from your override. Included Files: Compatibility: Users should expect full compatibility with any other mods, so long as they do not modify/replace the above files. For compatibility with the KotOR 1 Community Patch and Darth Parametric's Taris Escape Sequence Adjustments, simply install this mod after those ones. Looking to introduce some much-improved ship animations that are made for their textures? Sith Holocron, Dark Hope, and Xarwarz have authored both "Animated Ebon Hawk Monitors (not including Galaxy Map)" and "More Subtle Animated Ebon Hawk Monitors (still not including Galaxy Map)", both of which do the job well. I recommend using either alongside the files in the "Animated Monitors" subfolder aforementioned in the Installation section. Acknowledgments: I would like to thank Symmetric, Purifier, Ndix UR, and seedhartha for making importing to Blender simple using KotORBlender, and Cortisol for making file extraction easy with the Holocron Toolset. I also want to give a shout-out to muitafruita for suggesting including the medbay walkmesh fix from TSL to K1 as a way to improve PC spawning. Those of you familiar with Party Model Fixes by redrob41 know it is a cool mod that fixes up some of the game's models for your K1 party members.
